It is a good low cost restaurant with nice staff
Food was very good. Clearly made from scratch in a way that is rare for Indian restaurants. Butter chicken was overly sweet, more like a tikka masala. Level of spices was very low, even at so-called spicy level. Please note this is a BYO restaurant. There is a liquor store 1 block away. Decor is minimal. Worth a try.
Great tasting food, restaurant was freezing so food came out cold. The meat starters were dry and over cooked. Vegetarian options delicious. Service was friendly but slow, forgetful and inattentive. Curries were the best tasting curry I’ve had in Canada. Pros and cons. Overall would not recommend due to cold dishes, slow service and dry meat starters.
Met some friends for dinner here based upon good reviews, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Ordered everything at medium spice level. Had vegetable pakora and fried okra as a starter, then alloo shallots, baingan bharta, mixed daal and butter chicken along with naan and rice. The dishes were all rather boring - no strong flavors, and nothing at all spicy. Maybe we should have gone for the “hot” rather than medium option to get more intense flavors, or we ordered the wrong dishes. But without any of the dishes standing out as being very interesting or unique, I can’t recommend this place.
La comida aunque sabía muy bien, era calentada en microondas. El servicio muy lento
Very nice decor, nice vibe very good food. Bring ur own wine.
Good food, service was excellent however when restaurant filled up the service was slower. Would definitely go back.
