Luxury Restaurant Ungelt is located in the charming courtyard called Tyn – one of Prague’s best preserved Renaissance treasures, dated back to early Middle Ages – just few steps from the Old Town Square and the famous Astronomical clock.

Main restaurant space is located in the medieval hall with beautiful bar and open kitchen. There is a private lounge with a round table available for small groups. This round table is basically an ancient well with glass desk on the top. There is also an outside seating area for those ones who would like to watch a tourist buzz during a day or feel unique Prague atmosphere on summer evenings.

    It is clear that the restaurant is well run and staffed. The liquor and apertif selections are not robust. In two instances, we were given wine by the glass that was neither fresh nor at the right temperature (a red wine and sauternes). Price for a sea bream backed in salt and served table side was nearly $100 USD just for the fish and not clearly disclosed on menu. Do not recommend.

    The evening with new friends was amazing. The fish was prepared to perfection the vegetables tasty and the service outstanding. A 5 start evening!

    Thank you all for a wonderful and delicious dinner = actually 2 = cause the first meal & service were so perfect that we returned a few days later before we returned home. We sat outside on your beautiful patio and our servers were kind and engaging. We enjoyed every meal, especially the tartare and the duck and the truffle chicken. I suggest to tourists to definitely have reservations as from all we could see the staff works hard to balance those with rez and those without and their own workload. And I mean that in a kind way as they seem to wish everyone has an enjoyable & delicious evening meal. We will return to Ungelt next time we are in Prague = full of good memories and food. Thank you to the staff who made our vacation meals so enjoyable. Take Care. And Thank You.

    Our hotel concierge recommended Ungelt to us. We were looking for a seafood based dining experience in Prague. Our experience was amazing! The menu is robust, many options. The entree we had with the salt-encased sea bass was delicious and our waitress, Yuliya was excellent! She filleted the bass with no effort, and there was not a single bone on our plate. The appetizers were delicious as well. We would recommend this place for sure!

    It is highly priced. The food (fish) was good. Was very simple, cooked (perfectly) and served with out any spice except garlic by the side. I also had a Creamy Crayfish soup that was very good. The service was always attentive. I would recommended to try the dishes on the menu.

    We went with my family I didn’t like that the service person suggested a sea food plate for the center and turns out to be the most expensive plante in the menu it was worth $160 He seemed insistent and like in a hurry It’s too expensive for what you get I would not recommend it We had a great time as a family but if your looking for great food and no surprises find somewhere else

    Overall, underwhelming. Some dishes were good, but not an experience commensurate with the price. Service lacked as simple orders of drinks and dessert were forgotten and needed multiple reminders. Menu is appealing, but the execution didn’t match.

    1st Time in Prague and found this restaurant on Open Table near our hotel. What a wonderful surprise and top pick. Food is exciting, regional and tasty. Price very reasonable and service top notch. One of the highlights on our two week European trip

    A FIND in Prague-- a charming, beautifully designed restaurant with a tranquil vibe. The menu offered a variety of items in all categories (appetizers, mains, etc.). The seafood was noteworthy as was the roast pheasant. Prices were fair. Service was outstanding. Located off the main square, it is a great option for an evening of fine dining with friends.

    I bring my wife to a French restaurant because I was tired to eating meat at Prague. I just happened to see a opening for 2 at 8:00 pm. Not expecting a great meal at a French restaurant in Prague Czech. When we got to the restaurant it was crazy busy and crowded with a party that fill up the whole restaurant. When we order the wine it was on the expensive side but hey it’s French so I ordered the Escargot which was excellent then we ordered the Seafood plate for 2 persons, not expecting seafood to be great. But to our surprise it was the best seafood plate I every had. I highly recommend anyone love seafood, go try it for yourself and you will enjoy it as much as we did!

    Menu is limited but each course is well made. We has a vegetarian with us and they were able to adapt items to cater. Lovely location and very friendly staff. Small and intimate dinning area inside with street side option. Overall a great meal.

    This is a beautiful little restaurant set inside an interior courtyard in downtown prague. The manager greeted us upon entry and escorted us to our table. He then went through the wine and champagne menu with us and all of our food options. We took all of his recommendations and we’re so glad we did. Everything we had was better than the next. We would totally recommend this restaurant for anybody who wants to have a first class, beautiful experience with delicious food and friendly staff.

    This was a perfect, outdoor meal. It was a quieter environment even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was excellent. Absolutely delicious. And the staff was extremely attentive and friendly.

    The food was amazing. Well sourced and well cooked. The staff were a little young and inexperienced but the food really made up for it. We had the seafood platter for two, everything was cooked to perfection. The chef was the winner really.

    So glad we picked this restaurant! Crayfish soup and Caesar salad for starters - delicious! And the salad came with chicken and was big enough for an entree. Beautiful glass of Chablis and a very tasty Aperol spritz. Entrees were a perfectly baked sea bass and beef medallions. Both very good! And a coffee rum Creme brûlée for dessert. Outside dining was most pleasant! A great meal with impeccable service.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACHTUNG ABZOCKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Für diese Preisklasse war es mehr als ungenügend. Der Service war unaufmerksam und nicht ausreichend Ausgebildet. Die Flasche Wein wurde serviert, aber einschenken musste ich selbst übernehmen. Der Gruß aus der Küche war nicht essbar. Ein 5 Gänge Menü hat circa 90€ gekostet dafür war es eine Frechheit. Das lächerlichste war das zum Schluss noch ein Trinkgeld von über 20 Euro erhoben wurde ( dass habe ich natürlich nicht bezahlt) Dieses Restaurant werde ich nie wieder besuchen und ich empfehle jedem dieses Lokal nicht zu besuchen. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACHTUNG ABZOCKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
