   Leider war das Restaurant trotz Reservierung geschlossen.... Im April 2019 waren wir dort wirklich gehoben essen, um so größer die Enttäuschung. Hätte wenigstens eine Information erwartet.

   Angenehm lockere Atmosphäre, Jeans, Hemd und gute Sneaker reichen vollauf. Lukas Bachl serviert auch gerne selbst seine ausgezeichneten Gerichte, bei uns unter anderem die herrlich-weichste Ente unseres Lebens. Schon beim Gruß aus der Küche vielfältige Aromen, desgleichen beim Saibling und beim Landei. Zum Abschluss Birnensorbet: traumhaft, nur der feinherbe Riesling wollte für meinen Geschmack nicht dazu passen, wohl aber für den meiner Freundin. Ansonsten hervorragende korrespondiere Weinbegleitung durch die Sommeliere (Name vergeblich auf der Website gesucht...), besonders der Spanier zur Ente ein Traum im Rotweinglas. Auch mal ungewöhnliches wie ein rosefarbener Portwein. Rundum stimmig zu einem, naja, erwartbaren Preis. Jederzeit wieder und eine Empfehlung für Freunde. Merci ans Team für einen wundervollen Abend und Grüße aus Hamburg

   Gutes Restaurant, essen gut, für den Preis dürfte das Essen ein Tick besser sein. Aber sehr guter Service !!!!

   After many nights of meals ranging from lovely but a bit ordinary to 'I-ate-this -in-Berkeley-in-1975,' we stumbled on Slate and were delighted by this beautiful meal. We splurged on the 5-course tasting (only a splurge by Berlin standards) and found every bite innovative and delicious. The 'egg 3.0' was their version of 'rustic' and it was the most elegant and surprising egg dish I've ever eaten. There is a hint of Asian flavor (especially in the fish dishes) which makes everything feel clean and fresh. The wine pairings were exquisite. A really special night.

   Menues fairly priced and everything was very good. But we ipted for 2 Courses and I paid 62 Euros. The five course menu is 79. it’s not very balanced, so just go there if you have the appetite for a minimum 5 courses. Selection on open wines should also be improved. Food itself was outstanding.
