   Now that's what I call class. Overall very fine experience. The waiter and the sommerlier were splenid. Friendly, fun and sophisticated. The wine recommendations were excellent. The menu is comprehensive and interesting. The risotto was tasteless, though. The desserts were marvelous. The beetroot pannacotta came with a magical surprise. Nice ambience. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth the price.

   Restaraunt Six is a fabulous experience and the early bird menu is great value for money. The wine is a little pricey (starting at €40 per bottle) but it is worth it in the care the sommelier puts into curating their collection so that only top class varieries make the cut, and the good value throughout the rest of the menu. Staff are friendly and very attentive and I was overall very impressed. I will definitely be returning.

   A lovely meal over all courses, let down only by the dessert. The beetroot panacotta was delicious, but the portion size was far too generous and we both ended up having to leave half of it. Our waiter was pleasant, though a little unhelpful about ordering an aperitif, and on being asked about wine, he replied that the sommelier would come and attend to us when he had time, a somewhat unusual response, we felt. On both of these occasions he told us “I only know about the food.” However, the sommelier, who appeared to have plenty of time and quickly appeared to take our order, can only be described as an asset to the restaurant. He talked in depth about the wine we had chosen, answered questions that we put to him about wine, and was hugely enthusiastic and informative. We don’t live in Ireland, but if we did, we would probably be regulars at the restaurant. A meal of this quality would cost far more in England. Visit as soon as you can.

    Staff were courtesy and helpful. Restaurant tastefully decorated and wash rooms very clean, bright and airy. Food really looked great but the flavors didn't back up the presentation. Somewhat surprised by somelier saying all NZ wines are dreadful. Small lapse in getting the bill to us which left us pressed for time for theater but that can happen anywher.

    Food & service was excellent - especially the scallops & Wagyu beef. We were in a side room that felt a bit removed from the main restaurant. Had a lovely bottle of wine recommended- overall a bit pricy for the meal & experience.

    First visit to Dublin and staying at Cassidys and Restaurant Six. All the staff have been amazing, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and the hotel.

    Service was excellent from all the staff. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share his passion for the wine on offer which was extensive. Food was of a high quality with some lovely presentation skills, especially for the scallops starter. Certainly recommend for that special occasion meal when in Dublin.

    Really enjoyed experience overall. Lovely setting. Atmosphere was spot on from all front of house - not too formal, instead was perfectly friendly and professional. Food was very good, bordering on excellent. Some amazing dishes - pork belly and beef cheek and chocolate praline stood out as top class.

    I was on the 18th Mar for dinner. Awful experience. We ordered Scallops and beetroot tart for the starter and Wagyu beef cheek and Halibut for the main course with two side dishes. Scallops were nicely done (this is as far as my positive comment goes). The beetroot starter was a cup-like stale wafer pastry filled with tasteless crushed beetroot and whipped goat cheese that was over salty and did not smell fresh at all. The two crispy decorative beetroots on top of the dish was burnt dry and bitter. Main course: The halibut was overdone and dry served on a dry plate with no sauce (it was supposed to be served with a caviar sauce). The wagyu beef cheek was greasy and not pleasant to eat. After dinner we ordered coffee even though the restaurant was not busy we had to ask for it several times before they remembered to serve us. Expensive and terrible food

We always want to look after our diners and we re not ashamed to admit if we did something wrong but we need to know that something is not for your licking so we can accommodate accordingly. On the day of your visit staff were told that everything is ok and thanked on the way out of the restaurant. As I sad will admit if we did something wrong as we know we are not perfect but trying to do so as close as we can.

    Amazing experience. Relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. All members of staff are 5 star. Great selection of wines especially croatian high quality ones. Food was impeccable. All 3 courses. Sommelier Hrvoje did a great service explaining everything about the wine selection and answering all the questions we had. Had really great time.

    We went for the pre theatre meal and the food was really disappointing- I had the crab which was about a teaspoon full, and my husband had the pork belly which had been reheated and was cold and the fat was completely solid. There is a big fanfare around the presentation with lots of smoke and dry ice, which would be great if the food was edible. My wagyu beef cheek was fatty and cold, the spinach was too salty with far too many pine nuts and the salmon was tepid. Over all we were so disappointed, especially after the good reviews received on line. The Maitre D was pushing for peoples reviews with on an iPad which was so distracting as the tables are close together, so we had to witness the same speal 5 times over throughout our meal. The staff were very friendly, however I would definitely not recommend this to anyone, and we certainly won’t be going back.

    We had a great time. The staff were very engaging and accommodating. The food presentation was very tasteful, and the scallops starter was spectacular. Our party included 4 young girls and a baby and we found the staff very friendly and the atmosphere unintimidating. We were not rushed which was also nice as we had time to enjoy the ambiance and the stylish decor. The bill was very reasonable also

    Faux flowers, loud piped "Classic FM" music, put in the window (also right by door in February) as largely empty. All boded ill. Starter of truffle brie on brioche.. arrived some time after companions', cold. Unripe brie that looked as if may have been melted at one point but mostly as if it had sat, ready prepared, in a fridge for some time. The brioche was a chargrilled piece of stale yellow substance that was inedible. The cheese occasionally had a flavour of truffle, no flavour of brie, no beauty of texture and laden with candied glaze. Borderline morning after pizza without the enjoyable flavours. No one noted let alone remedied the untouched brioche and apricot. Service was bizarre, 2 of 4 ran extremely late. No one came near the table to offer water or an aperitif despite many signals, turning head, trying to catch a waiter's eye. Had to wait until they were clearing a nearby table to call them over and ask for water. Table near a mantlepiece so ever course was an awkward "plate over head" moment as they tried to serve from the left. There's no room!!! Main of risotto very good, whole smoked almonds would have been nicer roughly chopped. Pork belly - no crunch, chewy. Roasted celeriac - small single round (borderline sliver) with a lot of butter based sauce. Companion didn't rave. Beef cheek went down well, served with small smear of cauliflower puree and large quenelle of grain mustard. Fish - no comment made other than not served with eg potatoes. Glass of NZ pinot noir excellent. Use of smoke at every opportunity including an old fashioned. Over priced, cold food, trying to position as fine dining by just saying fine dining with a bit of smoke.
