   Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The decor is stunning. Menu is very limited and prices expensive so, as a diner, you expect perfection and our experience on the whole fell a little short due to some minor details. Our first choice of main meal wasn’t available so I opted for a steak which I strongly feel should be priced as a whole as it ended up costing around £38 for a fillet, side and sauce. We requested table water but unless you pay for this you only receive a small glass which is topped up a little at a time from a tepid jug. Unfortunately the almost 25 minute wait at the end of the night for the bill will not easily be forgotten. A beautiful place with well meaning and hardworking owners who had probably been hit by staff absences and were stretched - a few tweaks needed.

   The food and service was just excellent. Probably the best Sea-bass I have ever had. Really enjoyable meal with family. Very attentive and helpful, catering for me with gluten intolerance. Would definitely return for another special occasion.

   Xmas Eve meal out and was worth every penny, from the moment you step in to this lovely restaurant the staff went above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after. The decor was quirky like Alice in wonderland which I loved x Will definitely return and bring friends and family .

   outstanding value on the sunday set menu , great ambience in the place , the food was super tasty and presented in a fabulous manner , good selection of wines and champagne , cant wait to go back and try the al a carte menu , was some great looking items on it to set my taste buds off , very friendly hosts and good service , a gem of a place on the outskirts of bolton

   We have visited twice now and on each occasion we feel the front of house service is lacking. We also thought the restaurant lacked atmosphere. The food was good although my terrine starter with toast and lettuce and a little balsamic was disappointing.

   Amazing food at our local new restaurant, we will definitely be back! The quality of meat and fish was outstanding! Staff very attentive and wine very tasty too! Great to have such a good restaurant on our doorstep!

    Booked following a recommend & it did not dissappoint . Warm welcome , engaging staff , good menu choice , delicious food ,( i can recommend the fresh seabass) , good wine choice & the evening not rushed . the decor is lovely & particularly like the choice of background music . All in all a place i am happy to recommend & please keep up the standard set . Best wishes for your continuing success.

    First time dining at Ruspante and we will certainly be back! The service was second to none and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was beautiful! We had the lamb Henry, salted caramel chocolate bomb and cannoli. All dishes were presented beautifully and tasted divine. We had a few cocktails also and they were very tasty. I even got asked about my specific taste and the next cocktail was made to my preference. Overall we had a fantastic night and would recommend this beautiful restaurant.

    Beautiful decor, Lovely friendly personal service, excellent food. intimate dining experience. Felt a little rushed as we were taken straight to our table, personally would have like to have been offered a drink at the bar and a leisurely look at the menu. Will definitely go back. Upstairs dining looked amazing and perfect for a family get together.

    When we booked, we hadn't realised it was the restaurant's weekly taster menu night. We're so glad we'd booked because each course was delightful. We could have taken up the paired wine menu, but decided to just take two of the selected wines; maybe next time. We'd reached the end of our four night break in the area, so this meal rounded off our stay wonderfully. The decor is quirky and colourful, which we found refreshing. If meals are prepared and presented to this standard every night, you won't be disappointed.

    Thank you for review Mr Darlington. The ingredients we use are of the highest quality. From hand dived scallops, 45 day dry aged Galloway grass fed beef, 14 day dry aged Swalesdale lamb, to heritage carrots, organic own farm grown herbs and fruits. This quality is not available in very many restaurants throughout the country. We pride ourselves on providing a top class service and we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experience. We appreciate formal dining isn't for all.
