We celebrated our daughters birthday and it was amazing! The food was excellent and the service was great!! We had such a wonderful experience. We will be back.
Fine dinning at its finest! Creative/innovative/elegant take on creole food. Go immediately - you will not be disappointed!
Everything thing was delicious. Would have been 5 star, but for the bread pudding.
One of my favorite dining experiences!
Fabulous food served by attentive and cheerful staff. Highly recommend.
One of our top dining experiences of all time. Kevin orchestrated the meal perfectly and added a considerable amount of experiential value with his knowledge of the cuisine and spirits/drink components. We always try to visit R'evolution when in town with great success-- but this really took it to another level (a massive achievement given the current state of things). Thank you Kevin and the RR team!
Food was terrific wait staff was fantastic food was astounding.
Next visit to NOLA we will be back.
Amazing food and service! Thanksgiving dinner we will always remember.
From another world. It is one of the most amazing restaurants in USA
Thanksgiving celebration with friends. Everything from the service to food was excellent! Travis and Tina were the bomb! Start with a cocktail any cocktail and crab beignets! The short ribs were tender with creamy grits! Everyone loved their steaks and sides. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese. Make this your place for celebrations!
The butternut squash was exquisite. We had the traditional Thanksgiving meals; ham and turkey. Delicious. The fried apple pie was crispy and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Glad they are open again.
The occassion was Thanksgiving. It was a nice experience in fine dining. Only bothersome thing was that when we asked if there could be a substitution for the Oyster dressing we were advised 'no' ... no exceptions. So that killed T-day dinner and we each went for another totally different menu selection. I mean come on ... not everyone eats oyster dressing. That was a big turn off. The Prime Rib was wonderful - and even better then next day. The Buttermilk Pie was something really different and absolutely divine! The sides of crawfish mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts were delish! Bread options were severely lacking for NOLA fine dining. Service from Ishmael and Kevin was pleasant, attentive and appreciated. Hostess was very accommodating and pleasant as was the bar service. Not sure why there was no white table cloth - but presume it is a Covid thing. Wish the restaurant would mention something to those walking about without a mask -- that is a deal breaker for me during this covid season. Overall I've loved R'evolution over the years and miss going .. particularly the bar. Keep up the great ambiance and work!
Recommended from a friend to try Revolution out whilevwe were in town visiting friends. We were absolutely impressed by the superb service, convenient location and outstanding food. First time trying turtle soup and I loved it. The filet mignon was perfect, seared to perfection.
It was aight.
The restaurant was very beautiful and comfortable for our date. The food was delicious! We shared the 40oz Tomahawk Steak! Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had ever!
There was no tablecloth on the dining table, which was the first thing I noticed! The appetizers and dessert were very good but the entree was undercooked. I had the lobster and gnocchi. The cream and lobster were not cooked properly. Thinking back, I wish I had said something about it. My husband had the lamb chops and he said they were very fatty. For such a pricey restaurant and all the vibe around it, we were expecting more. I would go back for drinks and appetizers when the bar opens again, after all it’s a beautiful place, but woukd not go back for dining.
The food was delicious and the service started out great. Having two waiters at the ready seems terrific at first, but the courses moved through too quickly for my comfort. I'm a slow eater who likes to savor her meal, and as soon as a dish was finished the next one arrived. Once we were done, I informed our main waiter that we had a gift card, and his whole demeanor changed. We got a long treatise about how gift card policy had changed, but he'd see to it. Not my problem, just take care of it! He does, but not without some explanation about charging off to a third party or some malarkey. Totally ruined what had been a nice celebration dinner.
Hands down the best dining experience in all of New Orleans and I’m a local;)
Food was great and the service was even better. Highly recommend
Friendly, professional and efficient staff greeted us as we walked in. Great ambiance..had mixed feelings about how empty the French Quarter was and eating at a fine restaurant...but we were glad that R’evolution was open!
Our waiter was informative and friendly but a bit intrusive. I liked him but it was uncomfortable in that he approached as if he had something to say..we stopped talking thinking it was about the dinner and then he says ‘not to interrupt you but I overheard what you were saying’... it had nothing to do with the dinner.
The crabmeat beignets are a must. They are lite, fried perfectly and taste wonderful.
The turtle soup is thick, and full of taste. Best ever and was as good as the last time I went to Revolution.
My wife had the shrimp and grits which was wonderful and a bit different. I had the red fish and vegetables which was also cooked to perfection and full of flavor. I added mashed potatoes which were dry, stiff and very disappointing.
My friend had the steak and lobster which he said was very good but pricey for the portion size at $48.00. The meat portion and the lobster were shockingly small..but it was Wagu short ribs..which I never understand the difference in price. His wife had the scallops dish which seemed very impressed by.
Th ice cream dessert is fresh and great. The bread pudding was different but only ok and certainly not worth $16.00.
They brought a “”surprise” extra dessert...which they did the last time also which consisted of 4 small items. Two different cookies and two very small truffle like things which were ok. At $400 plus..bring two plates of four cookies. It was beneath the level of the experience to have to point that out.
Overall, the entrees were great but not as good as the last time we went before the pandemic...but it was very good and I’d go back. Service is good but not as good as it can be.
Service was spectacular! Amazing experience. Would 10/10 return!
It was the best food and best service, second time and it was still unbelievable.
Really great space. The food was incredible and the servers were wonderful. Paired the food well with wine and gave such great recommendations.
Impeccable wine list, extraordinary lamb, excellent service and Somm. A fresh highlight of the Quarter.
The perfect restaurant for a special event! Staff so attentive and food is outstanding.
The restaurant was fantastic!!! The service was phenomenal!!!
The food and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned with making sure everything was prepared well. I would definitely go back and recommend R'evolution to anyone visiting New Orleans.
We were greeted warmly and had wonderful service. The food and atmosphere was amazing.
The very best food, atmosphere and staff—highly recommend visiting!
The best experience I’ve had in FOREVER our server was so informative and friendly with nothing but food knowledge I will be back and the food was beyond amazing....
Our server was amazing! Very informed on the menu and answered any questions I had and made great suggestions. I had the seafood gumbo, my husband had the turtle soup and said it was one of the best turtle soups he’s ever had. We shared a 1/2 dozen of the oysters which was good but the highlight of my meal was the entree and dessert! I had the mushroom pasta and the petite chocolate gateaux.
Every time we are in New Orleans we make it a habit to dine at Restaurant R’evolution. The food is amazing. You have to try the Fire Grilled Oysters, yummy!
The food and service were excellent, but we were seated in the middle of the room and later groups coming in were seated right next to us while tables on the edge of the room remained empty. I would have felt more comfortable if we were more spread out, covid or not. It is also quite pricey.
Our favorite place to eat in New Orleans. Everyone we recommend it to is also very favorably impressed...and there is a lot of competition in NOLA!
Service was good (thanks to Travis and leaders supporting our server), Food was great finished every bite of it!
The food was close to perfect and Our servers were warm, knowledgeable and attentive without being overstated. Will definitely be back!
Amazing! Food was delicious. Will be back again soon.
This was one of the most fabulous dinners I’ve had in a long time and the caviar was superb
Ambiance was great. Service was great. Food was very good. Definitely would dine here again.
