Underwhelming. Pretentious, see-and-be-seen restaurant with French Quarter pricing for relatively standard offerings. Requested a quiet table, and was seated in one of the noisiest parts of the restaurant; nearly impossible to hold a conversation. Staff was attentive at first, but then almost nonexistent and they were clearly stretched thin - example: inconsistent wait times between courses; our table was often hurriedly interrupted by wait staff mid-sentence, to drop food and the run on to their next table; nearly 15 minutes passed after the check was dropped for payment to be picked up; we had to retrieve jackets ourselves because they were left unattended behind the host desk, with no one around to assist. In general, the food was somewhat unremarkable, and the dishes that were notable were unfortunately so due to several execution issues - the kitchen did attempt to correct these when pointed out however, so they may just need to find their stride again after the long closure. In the end, it was an overpriced, lackluster experience that just left our party feeling like we were burdens on the restaurant, rather than guests. Kudos for the extensive wine list however!

We had a fabulous dinner. Delicious cocktails and appetizers! The staff was fantastic! I had the scallops with foie gras and my husband had the 45 day aged steak which was “market price”. Both dinners were amazing, but we were a bit surprised when we get the bill and his steak cost $250…it was nearly 2 pounds but had quite a bit of chunky fat…not marbled, not wagyu…lesson learned…ask for price when menu states market price. No regrets, we will definitely go back next time we are in Nola.

It was extremely disappointing in a restaurant of that caliber that there is no dress code to speak of and that three fourths of the crowd were looking more poorly attired than what I would assume they would even wear to work! And the noise level was quite good until they seated next to us a table that they squished in nine people that was really designed to seat six at the most. And they weren’t seated until 930 so they were drunk when they sat down. We skipped dessert and left early because it was so irritating

From start to finish, we had a wonderful dining experience. Nick was outstanding and made excellent suggestions. We started with the blue crab beignets. Delicious! My husband ordered the Wagyu beef & lobster and absolutely loved it. I ordered the scallops and foie gras and a half order of the gnocchi with lobster and loved every bite. For dessert we ordered the bread pudding and chocolate gateau. Both were so good. We definitely look forward to dining here again when returning to New Orleans.
The Romaine Salad was spectacular. Don't let the anchovy dressing scare you. It was faint! The Redfish was served in a sauce with caviar. Delicious. For sides we did the dirty rice, mushrooms and grits--all were well received!
It was such a glorious dinner, just as good as before the pandemic shut down. We were delighted to see many familiar faces in the both the dining room staff and the kitchen! Chef Folse commented on my husband's wild jacket (I would dearly love a chance to cook with Chef Folse)! We started with oysters and caviar with cocktails - just divine. This was followed by the fish preparation and the rack of lamb, expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection and we added the waygu poach potatoes-just amazing! We had the R'Evolution 2017 Pinot Noir which was a delight! Keep up the great work, we will be back and we will be bringing friends!

We celebrated 34 years of marriage.. wonderful server, Jay , she was absolutely a treasure!! VERY knowledgeable of everything that was on the menu!! Felt like we were at her home!!

The food food was terrific. I ordered crawfish guitar string pasta and my husband ordered seared scallops with foie gras. Kevin was our server. He even gave us a tour of the beautiful kitchen and introduced us to the chef. It was a perfect anniversary dinner.
Amazing in every aspect
50th anniversary dinner, and R’evilution did not disappoint. I had indicated on my reservations this being our 50th, and the restaurant staff went over the top to make this a most memorable dinner. Our server, Isaac was amazing. As fir the food, they had me at fois gras. I’ve eaten at most if not all of the “fine” restaurants in NOLA, and only one comes close to the fare we had at R’evolution. Yes, it is expensive. But I have paid more for far less. OUTSTANDING!

The service was very slow. Took forever to get out entrees after our appetizers and then even longer to get our check. The food was good but not special. Last time we dined there preCOViD everything about the restaurant was amazing. This time pretty average.

Great except for bad table location
This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in New Orleans! Every time we travel here, we make sure to get a reservation.
Disappointing, especially the Crawfish pasta. The Quail was excellent. But everything else average. Overpriced wine as well. Cocktails were very good. Service spot on. Not sure if I would go back, since there are better options for food nearby.
One of the best dinners I have experienced. Travis was our waiter and he was spectacular- can’t say enough positive things about the experience.
The dinner and service as in the past was wonderful. Libations were well priced and the cocktails were presented nicely and the wine list was very complete. The setting was loud mainly due to a very boisterous table of 5. Dinner was not diminished by the noise. The spanish octopus dish was marvelous.
My son and I came to dinner to celebrate our birthdays and it was an AWESOME experience!! They acknowledged our birthdays and made us feel very special. Also, Hats off and many THANKS to both Peter and Kevin!! They were amazing! Food was outstanding!! Can't wait to go back!!
The best service I’ve experienced in NOLA. The waitstaff were exceptional. Food and wine recommendations were very well received. The food was quite good. Overall it was a very special meal. We’ve eaten at the well known NOLA institutions and been disappointed, especially with the service. This place is clearly making a name for itself and I highly recommend it.
