Spectacular as always. Our server Rory was exceptional. Always celebrate our anniversary here!!
We have dinner here every time we come in town. Tha food and service is always fabulous. Already looking forward to our next trip to New Orleans!
The food and drink was excellent. The staff were very professional but relaxed. The price of the meal was well worth the experience.
Our waiter was outstanding, very informative. We tried caviar for the first time and the presentation was beautiful. Our entrees were so delicious. And the dessert jewel box was a nice surprise. I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience.
Let me count the ways, first off the Focaccia bread they bring out is absolutely delicious, the waiter said they put mushrooms in it but anyhow it was delicious. I got the quail and my sweetheart got the duck and both were equally outstanding dishes. One of the best dining experiences as far as the food goes in quite a while. Service was good but not great and it can get a little loud but hey it was a busy Saturday night in the quarter. All in all I’d highly recommend this place and will most definitely be back.
My group of foodies LOVED Restaurant Revolution. It was our favorite of all the places we hit over our 4 day weekend. One member of our group is coming back down in 2 weeks and will be bringing her group there. Everything was outstanding.
I think many restaurants get high ratings because of people who are having a first experience with fine dining at a big name restaurant. R'evolution had all the right pieces, but failed to bring the A game to the two most important; food and service.
The server kept coming around asking if we were ready to order. After about the 4th time, we ordered. After the food arrived, he only stopped by once.
The Red Fish was overcooked and dry, (3 of us had it). The Creme Brulee Bread Pudding was some odd ball rendition. It was a very dense, thick slice of unflavored wet bread with a 1/4" of creme brulee spread on top. It was dry, chewy and pretty much tasteless.
Service was no better. The server was in-attentive, seldom passing by. He left the bus boys to handle any requests. And the bus boys were no better. One took away my bread plate with all the bread and dashed off before I could stop him. When I next caught him, he said he would replace my bread. Again, after a few minutes I asked for bread. Oh, yes, sorry, he said and went away for the evening. Never got my bread.
Two much better venues are GW Fins, (very attentive, great food) or Red Fish.
Truly impeccable service with amazing at a great value for an establishment of this quality.
Rory, our server was fantastic. He had two assistants and the team was run like a quarterback or point guard. They never missed a thing. The staff was very knowledgeable about the dishes and made great recommendations. The entire experience was well worth it. I have visited many restaurants in New Orleans as well as other cities and this was our best overall experience since bacchanalia in Atlanta.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Scallops and Beef Ribs were great. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable. Desert was fantastic too.
The jazz brunch was amazing!
We had a really lovely brunch and the service was excellent
Fantastic food in a beautiful space with live New Orleans jazz trio on the Sunday we attended.
The vibe was laid back but the meal was cutting edge. Brilliant and lip smacking new takes on old Louisiana creole classics. Was hard to decide what to try and everything we had was wonderful. We will absolutely return on any trip to NOLA.
Great food. Brunch was amazing! Will go back next time in nola
The food and service were fantastic! Be prepared to spend a good two hours dining.
They made our anniversary extra special
Such wonderful food! Inventive without being strange. Great service as well.
It was my birthday dinner. My husband and I had a marvelous time! Everything was PERFECT!!
Very good food. A bit pricey
Outstanding...Best restaurant in New Orleans! The service and food was incredible! Great atmosphere too!
Exceptional menu. Service and attention was second to nobe
Everything was superb!
Splendid. Service was assume
This is hands down the finest Resturant in NOLA. Food is outstanding, service outstanding, and restaurant is beautiful! Collin and Travis are super knowledgeable and an excellent team.
Wonderful high end dining. Service was excellent, food was superb. Nice wine list, great after dinner drinks. Will eat here every time I come to town
Excellent service and impeccable food! Highly recommend.
Was recommended by a friend and we will now Highly recommended.
Service was excellent. Food was over the top.
Wonderful meal and excellent service. All food was prepared perfectly.
This was our 4th time eating here. In my humble opinion, this is the BEST restaurant in New Orleans. If you come to NOLA, you simply must eat here. We started with the oysters R'evolution. It is like having 6 jewels put before you. Each oyster better than the one before. Then we had the jamon Iberico. I know, this is a big indulgence, but it was my birthday, and so we indulged. The ham is buttery, and silky and coupled with the grain mustard, makes your eyes roll into the back of your head. Our entrees were, the filet mignon and Triptych of Quail. The filet was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. A little quirk, my wife ordered it with horseradish crust and she got the blue cheese crust. Since she likes both, we did not send it back. Just a little hiccup. I had the quail. if you like quail, and I do, this is for you. The southern fried quail is just lights out. The boudin stuffed is outstanding, and the absinthe glazed is great. We did not have dessert, because afterall, Cafe du Monde is calling. You are probably wondering about service. This is at the top of the charts. I am sure that there are restaurants with equally outstanding service, but there are none better. My recommendation, go check all of this out for yourself. P.S.-Next time we eat here, we are definitely getting the 40oz tomahawk. The servers carry it through the dining room, and you want to steal one off the plate.
First off......Scott was a fantastic server, well versed, pleasant and on point! The food was outrageously delicious. The wine list was excellent. Already planning to go again before heading home.
Amazing start to finish
We make a point to dine at Restaurant R'evolution whenever we pass through New Orleans. Once again, the restaurant did not disappoint. Each course was fantastic and the service was superb.
They were so accommodating and brought my seven year old son a blanket because he was getting tired!
Excellent service. Food was bland and overrated. Price didn’t meet the quality. We were so disappointed.
Had house flies on our table in parlor room
Everything was amazing! If you want to treat yourself this is an absolute must. The service was on point, everything was perfectly prepared and timed. It was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. I will be back for more visits. The restaurant is lovely and has a great ambiance. The service is fantastic. The only thing that kept me from giving the food five stars was the bread and an hors d'oeuvre the chef sent to our table in a tasting spoon, gratis. The bread was rather tough and tasteless. The appetizer was overly salty.
I ordered the crab beignets for an appetizer; four crab beignets, each served with a different remoulade. They were excellent. For my main course I had the sheep ricotta gnocchi with lobster. The gnocchi were light and tender, melting in my mouth. The accompanying sauce and lobster went beautifully with the gnocchi. While one member of our party opted to order dessert, I did not, but I was in for a treat. Our server brought out a "treasure box" in which each drawer held a sweet; including cookies and small, artisanal chocolate truffles.
It's always with some degree of trepidation that one visits a new restaurant. I was very pleased with this one and hope to dine there again on my next visit!
Excellent service as always. Jazz brunch. The potato cappuccino (no coffee involved) soup was a pleasant surprise.
The cocktail menu can be frightening with drinks costing as much as $650. But the food was very good and appropriately priced for the value. Lots to choose from including the beer-battered crab beignets, which were served with four different sauces. The shrimp & tasso risotto was excellent. The complimentary cocktails and desserts were a nice touch.
