I put this restaurant second to none. The food is delicious and the service is superb. You absolutely get what you pay for.
IMHO Orsay is the best dining experience in Jax. Consistently a great experience and always great food! Bravo!
Overall very pleasant experience.
Bartender for pre dinner cocktail, excellent!
Server was excellent!
Tables just a little close, but the noise level was not a problem.
Definitely will be back 😊
Delicious food and the staff provided excellent service. I proposed here and they made the moment more special.
Service was great. Unfortunately that was the extent. Food was okay, though they did have some menu options not usually found elsewhere. The beef strogenoff was very salty, as was the pork chop. You got the pleasure of sitting on metal chairs for 2 hours. 5 star service and friendly staff . Otherwise they had little to offer but extremely overpriced menu items ($5 per oyster. Really?)
The food and service were incredible. Our server recommended some of the favorites and they did not disappoint!
Amazing food and service! Can’t wait to go back!
Our 26 Anniversary. We were treated like VIP’s. The food and service is always amazing. Thanks for a great night
Not what we expected after all the reviews of Orsay being the area's most romantic restaurant. The place was brightly lit...packed with party tables which we were sat adjacent to for our "romantic" first date dinner...it was so loud and obnoxious that we had to go next door after dinner just to hear each other talk. The food was very good and service cordial. Not the upscale, fine dining restaurant we expected. More like a loud bistro with good food.
This is our "go to" restaurant whenever we are in town and joining friends for dinner. We have many memories celebrating life's events at Orsay....simply, the best food in Jacksonville.
Love the place... always have a great meal... Scallops tartare... delish!!! Mussel... yum!
While the food and the service was excellent, the noise level was uncomfortable. We went to Sunday brunch, and this being our first trip to Orsay, didn't know what to expect. Place was packed, and a little bit too noisy for our tastes. But that being said, we will plan another trip!
Great Sunday brunch!
This was our first visit and we'll definitely return. The food was not only unique but absolutely delicious! Our server was very knowledgeable and she seemed to take pride in the restaurant which made for a pleasant birthday brunch. I'm curious to see how the ambiance is at dinner.
My husband really love it. It was nice. I had the steak and it was good.
Absolutely amazing as always.
I always love Orsay. This time we got the Grand bouillabaisse. It was particularly outstanding. It was a great evening. Just FYI about the noise level. The newer room is loud. The older room is active, but a lot quieter.
The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Our server, Brianna, was pleasant and attentive. It was a very enjoyable evening.
There were 3 of us. Apps we're good and 2 out of 3 entrees we're good. I had a rib-eye which had more marble and fat than meat. It was not a premium cut. Eating area was wide open and noisy. it was difficult to carry a conversation. We were expecting a much nicer atmosphere for a restaurant which is so highly rated.
We enjoyed our meal and service!
Excellent food and excellent service! The wine list was great too.
Outstanding as usual!
Excellent service and delicious food.
Great food and amazing service!
Great food. Great service. A little loud in the main room. It makes it tough for dinner conversation but other than that. Fabulous
Can"t think of anything to change. Been a patron since they opened. We always reserve table #41.
This is our favorite restaurant in Jacksonville!!!!
Truly exquisite is everything they prepare.
See you soon !!!!
Orsay continues as one of our favorites!
Great table, great food & service
We were celebrating our birthdays with brunch. We have had dinner here and happy hour but never brunch until this reservation. It was amazing. Probably the best brunch we’ve ever had. Alexandra our server was perfection. We will definitely not only be back for dinner and cocktails but definitely for brunch again. Thank you, Erica
We are pescatarians- mostly vegetarian and nonshellfish so we have always had challenges with the menu at Orsay It was on our no fly list in spite of its great reputation. We were happy to inadvertently discover that they had a new vegetarian menu -so we thought we would try it. Happy to say we had many choices- the mushroom soup was delicious -but came out of the kitchen likewarm. Spinach salad was tasty with a light Dijon vinaigrette and our entrees- a roasted fish with grits and creamed corn, which had to be somewhat deconstructed , and truffle pappardelle were outstanding. The lemon crème bread pudding likewise did not disappoint. Had some issues with seating- initially sat in a corner table up against a half wall with an air conditioning draft- - in a noisy room with large parties. After several protestations met with indifference by the hostess, our waiter Chris, moved us to a quieter back room where we only had to contend with the air conditioner blowing directly on us. Not sure why distribution of cool air is such a challenge in so many eating venues around town. Service was attentive in both of our locations. All in all a great culinary experience with some creature comfort challenges. Would definitely recommend to vegetarians and vegans who value creative vegetarian fare and have been skittish about going back to Orsay.
Orsay never fails to delight us. The food is always delicious and offers nice options. Our server, Tony, was outstanding. We have had him several times before and he is top notch. Orsay is fortunate to have him on their staff. We will be back soon.
Truly an outstanding experience from beginning to end.
As usual, impeccable food and service!
The only thing missing to make this a truly exceptional restaurant is the ambience of a real French bistro. The food is as good as anything you can find in Paris. Superb wine selection as well.
We usually go for the happy hour menu and select 4 or 5 dishes to share. The favorites are the sauteed calamari, pomme frites, black truffle mac n cheese, fromage plate and the oysters from the raw bar. All very good and a great value. After 6 visits we still look forward to the next one.
Christmas Eve dinner with a friend and we were not dissapointed. The service was top-notch, no rushing and the food outstanding. A memorable meal. Not many restaurants (if any) in Jacksonville can top this.
