   We chose Opus as a restaurant for a special birthday celebration and it did not disappoint!! The food was simply sublime - beautifully presented, exquisite to the pallet, - a little bit of heaven on earth! Service was very professional and friendly! And in addition to the tasting menu we selected, we were offered a range of amuse bouches which were also so tasty! To end the evening, knowing it was my husband's birthday, they presented him with a cake too! A wonderful evening and if we return to Vienna we will no doubt book again! Highly recommend it!

   Amazing dinner and service. One of our best ever! You get to choose which of the five courses you wanted, which made it even better for everyone at our table. Wine list was excellent and very reasonable.

   Slow pacing and neither the food nor the service was particularly impressive at this price point. Opus tries be innovative with the dishes but the mix of taste just wasn't on par with other proper one Michelin star restaurants.

    A wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary with a seven course tasting menu. My husband also took the wine flight but as I don’t drink wine I opted for the non-alcoholic cocktail package which was very good. The food was delicious and the service impeccable and very friendly. The meals were art on a plate.

    Excellent elevated cuisine using mostly local ingredients - the suppliers are listed. A really nice touch are the multiple “amuse bouche”. The dishes are very tasty and presented beautifully. Very attentive and polite service.

    We had a 5-course menu with wine pairing last night. Both food and wine were exceptional good and we enjoyed the perpetual amuse bouche before dinner. Excellent service from sommelier and other servicing staff.

    Wir verbrachten einen sehr netten Abend im Restaurant Opus, sowohl Essen wie auch Ambiente waren ausgezeichnet und der Service war sehr professionell, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders die Geburtstagsüberraschung und die zahlreichen Grüße aus der Küche waren ein sehr netter Touch und haben den Abend gelungen abgerundet. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung meinerseits!

    Ein wunderschöner Abend in beeundruckendem Ambiente, tollen Gängen und einer perfekt gewählten Weinbegleitung. Wir schätzten besonders den authentischen Umgang im Lokal, wienerisch klassisch, elegant, trotzdem auf eine Weise leger und definitiv nicht steif. Angenehm ist die perfekte Portionierung der 11 Gänge, sowie der Weinbegleitung, es geht sich also wunderbar aus, ohne dass wir mit dem Platz kämpfen müssen. Das definitive Steckenpferd des hauben-prämierten Kochs: die Präsentation. Kreative Gerichte, perfekt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet, jeder Gang für sich daher nicht nur ein geschmackliches, sondern auch optisches Kunstwerk!

    Opus is an outstanding find in Vienna. The restaurant sits in a quiet section of the legendary Hotel Imperial and serves excellent course dinners in a personalized style. We were offered a 5, 7 or 11 course meal paired with wine and were astounded by the quality of the food, presentation and high level of service. The restaurant was not crowded and our server gave us personal attention. We rarely write reviews, but feel we owe it to the staff of Opus. If you get a chance to visit, you'll enjoy the treat. We will be back on our next trip to Vienna.

    The dining experience at the opus is terrific. My partner and I had a romantic weekend away in Vienna and this evening meal put the cherry on the cake as it were. My request for a single red rose at the table waiting for us was met and the service was impeccable from start to finish. The food is just outstanding, we opted for the 5 course set menu which we think is ample for an evening and fit it all in along with the complimentary treats along the way from the kitchen. Overall a very memorable and enjoyable experience all round.

    The only restaurant out of 3 serving tasting menu we have been to in Vienna so far that allows a choice of 5 or 7 or 11 out of 11 dishes served as tasting menu. Excellent food and great Austrian only wine pairing suggestions. Very elegant interior, professional service and great ambiance. The price was reasonable and definitely appropriate.

    Ein gelungener Abend in stilvollem Ambiente. Das Menü war kreativ und qualitativ absolut top. Angenehm überrascht waren wir von den Grüßen aus der Küche und der Brotauswahl. Positiv zu erwähnen ist auch der Service. Immer freundlich und stets in der Lage die Speisen am Teller zu erklären.

    Sehr feine und einfallsreiche Küche, 5-Gang-Menü trotz kleiner Portionen dank vieler "Grüsse aus der Küche" sehr umfangreich. Weinbegleitung eher einseitig. Lokal war am Sonntagabend fast leer. Opus ist in unserem Freundeskreis zu Unrecht wenig bekannt - wir werden es gern weiterempfehlen!

    Tasting menu of 5/7/11 courses, but we chose just a la carte, as didn’t want too much. Despite this, we were given three rounds of appetisers to start and two rounds of petite fours to end.. all of which were delicious, and exquisitely presented. The crab dish was intricate, delicate and a beautifully created with many layers of flavours working together. A symphony. Duck main course was perfectly cooked, although I do lament the absence of fresh greens… although this seems to be an Austrian way in general. All in all, although it was not cheap dinner, it felt generous and well worth it. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

    Wie immer ein Erlebnis! Trotz der Coronakrise ein so hervorragendes Menü zu kreieren, dazu gehört höchste Küchenleistung. Die Bedienung wie immer sehr zurückhaltend aber immer present wenn ein Wunsch ansteht.
