Global, International
Masterchef Eoghain O'Neill delivers a fresh take on comfort food and transports the astute diner to a worldly culinary journey.

We have three dining sections to cater to various appetites. Our lounge offers both tapas and brasserie food with a wide selection of cocktails, beers and wines. Our main dining has brasserie food with French classics and Italian favorites. Our upstairs Tasting Room has a bay view and is open to all guests by reservation and first come, first serve basis and is a great space for special functions and business dinners.

Four our tasting menus, we invite the entire table to choose between a six-course tasting menu or a surprise nine-course tasting menu specially curated by Chef O’Neill for a sui generis culinary experience. Wine-pairing optional.

Reservations are highly recommended.

I had the herb crusted lamb chops with roasted vegetables. This was a dining experience that was out of this world. The flavor of the food was wonderful.

This was my first time at restaurant O and I enjoyed the experience very much, the flat iron ribeye was cooked to my perfection and was very tasty.

We had a beautiful meal and Coleman our server was extremely attentive. The chef and sous chef stopped by our table to check in. We were surprised to find this restaurant in Coos Bay Oregon and we were very impressed-10 out of 10! Go, you won’t be disappointed!

Hands down the best restaurant on the coast of Oregon, if not the state of Oregon. Yes, I just said that! The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, there was something for everyone, and the chef/owner is a Michelin rated chef. In Coos Bay...let that sink in. He stopped by our table to chat and took my husband into the kitchen to give him a pasta recipe. The service was top notch. My only complaint is that we no longer eat as much as before (hello, 50s), so we couldn't order more food to enjoy.

We found this gem of a restaurant by chance. We had the Chef tasting menu and The chef came to our table with each course and explained the dish. The food was amazing and the service exceptional. We were traveling and live in Chicago so won’t be back anytime soon, but I highly recommend this restaurant

Happy hour appetizers and drinks were wonderful. We highly recommend ordering a big batch of fries (with truffle oil and garlic) for a group and we did NOT find that on the menu; but it was wonderful! Service was really good as the bar side of the house was not too full this past Saturday night due to festivals in the area. This is the second time we’ve been to
The bar with friends and we will definitely be going back...as will they! I made a reservation through open table and arrived timely and announced my reservation; but for some reason the restaurant cancelled my reservation on open table? Open table corrected that for me but now I wonder if the bar side of the restaurant takes reservations?

We were on vacation and were delighted to find such a sophisticated restaurant in such a small town.

The food was gorgeously presented. My husband had the best dish—scallops.

I appreciated my papardelle with wild mushrooms, mascarpone, and soft boiled egg, but felt it needed more flavor.

Beautiful service. Food prepared exquisitely and with love.

Attention to everything and a joyful spirit infuse Restaurant O! Gluten free options included my ceasar salad and ginger spiced salmon (delicious), the meatlovers calzone was a hit with my husband, and the kids said it was the best burger and fries they had ever had :). The prix fixe option was a full dinner (they kindly accommodated my gluten issue with a trio of creme brulees for dessert) and the wine selection had options for everyone. Don't miss a chance to dine here!

For all the hype of the chef, we were disappointed. The presentation was beautiful but the food itself was disappointing. Not delicious flavor to go along with the visuals. The desserts were particularly lacking in flavor. Will not go back.

We enjoyed the quiet and elegant setting of the restaurant. It was still Coos Bay casual though. The server was excellent. Our seafood entree's of scallops and halibut were less seasoned than we'd hoped for. Overall, we appreciated the fine dining experience and will return.

This place was located in a perfect spot downtown, next to the Boardwalk. The lampias we were served as an appetizer were to die for. Equally delicious was their crispy pork belly with the leek and pea mash.
We sprung for both trios of the creme brulee and tiramisu and were not disappointed. Both trios had sets of surprising and unique flavors, such as lemongrass and passionfruit. The drinks we had (non-alcoholic) were excellent and definitely different. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny, but it will be well worth it.

Totally surprised and pleased to find such a nice fine dining restaurant in Coos Bay. The food was delicious, creative, beautifully presented. The hostess/waitress was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend the restaurant.

What a great dining experience. We did the three course prix fixe menu, and we left full and in gastro heaven. I had the French Onion soup--the ration of sherry to broth was perfect, the spicy salmon, and strawberry cheesecake. Each course was beautifully presented on the plate as if it was a piece of art. I will want to try this again the next time I'm in Coos Bay.

Really great dining experience. We did the 9 course chef choice with wine pairing. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. I especially loved the scallop dish. The only miss was a lavender flavored palate cleanser that was a bit too lavender’d.
The chef noticed we weren’t drinking it and brought us some fresh fruit. He tasted it and agreed someone was a bit heavy handed on the lavender. We were only supposed to stay Monday night in Coos Bay on our way up the coast, but decided to stay an extra day just to try O since they aren’t open Monday’s. We were not disappointed and will definitely return on our trip back.

Wow! A world class gourmet restaurant with a Michelin stared chef. Only in this out of way town because he married a local pediatrician. Fantastic food and presentation. Our salmon had been caught that morning! Unbelievable.

We love this restaurant and went there with two other couples to celebrate my husband's birthday. We love the Happy Hour which they have every day from 4 to 6. The Lemon Drops and the Shrimp Tempura are our favorites. Then to the dining room for a lovely dinner. I love the scallops. Presentation is beautiful and they are scrumptious.

Terrific food. Shrimp tempura was fresh and so lightly battered and was served with an excellent dipping sauce. Flavorful and hot French onion soup. Memorable churros, again fresh and light, and with yummy dipping sauces. Great effort to be innovative but not contrived. Would definitely recommend.

Visually appealing restaurant featuring original brass sculptures; personal service from knowledgeable wait staff interested in food and in the diner's experience. The food was inventively designed and prepared, and beautifully presented. Taste combinations such as the amuse bouche of mango and jalapeño juices accompanying a beautiful shrimp presentation made for a surprising and delightful meal. We ordered from the prixe fixe menu and it was outstanding. Wish we didn't live so far away--we would be there often.

We celebrated my mother's 72nd birthday at Restaurant O. The food, drinks and service were outstanding as always! My 4 year old and 14 year old were also treated with so much kindness, they can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our mother/ daughter date here. The lobster pasta dish was absolutely amazing. I had the cheesecake for dessert and it was so pretty and had an awesome texture with a delicious strawberry flavor. I may be only 13, but this is my new favorite restaurant. Best food ever.

Outstanding Restaurant. We arrived early and decided to sit in the bar. Happy Hour drinks and appetizers were fantastic. Bartender is a true mixologist. Ending up staying in the bar for dinner. Both fish and beef main courses cooked perfectly with wonderful presentation and accoutrements!
