Excellent service. Repas manquait de saveurs. Belle ambiance! À recommander: plus de choix bio et végé.

We had a lovely brunch here on Sunday. Both of us had omelettes with salad, baguette and coffee. The fresh jams were wonderful. I will definitely recommend this place.

Nous avons passés une très agréable soirée: les plats exquis et la serveuse accueillante qui a su bien nous guider dans nos choix.

Cuisine et service excellent, pour retrouver de succulents classiques par contre les prix sont très "outremontais"...

The waiter was really professional in every way attentive to offering good service. The food is as good as we remembered. The flavours are amazing, the ingredients well conjugated, presentation nice to the eye. Yum, yum, yum.

Le service était plutôt froid et distant. Les repas étaient bons sans plus. Lorsque nous allons à Montréal, on s'attend à quelque chose qui va nous épater, ce n'était pas le cas. De plus, j'avais noté dans ma réservation que j'étais coeilliaque alors il a fallu que je m'expllique encore au serveur qui ne semblait pas porter une grande attention à cette situation. D'ailleurs, j'ai eu des maux de ventres le lendemain, preuve de ce que je viens d'écrire. Nous avons connu votre restaurant par réputation, franchement, je ne comprends pas.

Excellent restaurant; mon préféré à Montreal, même si je trouve le prix des vins un peu exagéré.
On y mange très bien. Le tartare de saumon est le meilleur en ville. Les serveurs et serveuses ont de la classe et sont très sympathiques.

Amazing experience love the after 10

A great neighborhood bistro a little way out of downtown Montreal. Worth the taxi ride for a real, classic neighborhood French restaurant. No fuss, great wine list, solid French food. Very clearly a family/kid-friendly place, but still great for a couple on a date.

Great meal. Thanks for making it a fun birthday. The food specifically was incredible. Service was OK, sat at bar. Loved the space!

We are absolutely in love with Lemeac. The freshness of the lettuce transported us to our favorite organic farm at a dear friend's wedding years ago. Each dish delighted us. We look forward to escape to Montreal again and dine at Lameac.

We started with the house smoked salmon and the salad with goat cheese. Our entrees were the cod and mushroom ravioli. All were very good, as was the service. I would like to give them more than 4 stars, but not quite good enough for 5.

Excellente soirée. Service impeccable. On aimerait que le vin soit un peu moins cher pour n'avoir aucune critique à formuler. On y retournera, c'est certain!

As expected. No surprises. Leméac is Leméac. One knows what he/she will get by going there.

Excellent service and ambiance! The food was good, but it my opinion a little overpriced. To be fair - I am a vegetarian and the others in our party were meat eaters, and seemed to enjoy their food more than I did. It was still a pleasant experience and nice night, but the restaurant the night before was about 2/3rds the price and (in my opinion) better food! The cocktails were very well made!

The first impression was terrible. It was a busy Sunday morning, so maybe the crew didn't have enough time or mind to care about each table.

The food arrived first, and then coffee, and lukewarm mocha.

Otherwise, there wasn't much service.

Disappointing.

The food was great! I had the scallops and it was fantastic! The french toast dessert is amazing and everyone needs to try it. It's huge though so be prepared to share! The atmosphere of the restaurant is okay. We ate in the "outside" area - only because it was quieter - but it's not as nice... If they would add tableclothes it would really improve the ambience... The interior dining room was very noisy. Our waiter was good - however it's a big restaurant so don't expect a lot of individual attention...

Excellent beef tartare! Also try the crab cake. Good food and good service.

Lorsque l'on réserve une table...on s'attend pas à recevoir la table la moins bien placée.
Je n'ai pas aimé le bacon...pas assez cuit; on aurait pu me demander quel cuisson.
Le service du garçon était très sympathique.

Heureuses d'avoir été placées dans un secteur calme, car c'était bruyant dans le restaurant. Comme j'ai une diète sévère quant au gras, j'avoue que j'ai dû me limiter, car tout était très bon, mais gras. Je me suis limitée à 3 carottes et à un peu de poulet à l'intérieur de la peau frite. Je ne pourrais y retourner à cause de la limite de ma diète. Le service était excellent et respectueux. Je vous inviterais à faire attention à la musique de fond qui me semble non essentielle. Ma soeur a adoré le cabillaud.

Lemeac has been one of my favourite Montreal restaurants for years! It is a timeless French Bistro which a true French flair to it - which I adore! It is not too pricey - just right! And they have the BEST fries, tartar and pain perdu in the city.

Menu fin de soirée excellent, très variés et très abordable. Meilleur rapport qualité/prix. Notre table nous attendais à notre arrivée. Service sympathique, courtois et professionnel.

Always stop in when visiting MTL! Late night menu, after 10pm = 2-course choices from regular menu for only $27. They get busy- so make reservations. They were packed Friday night- food still came out on time - server was excellent - no rush - but very timely & knowledgeable. Calf Liver, Steak Tartare spicy & Short Ribs were enjoyed by the 3 of us as well as the Loire Valley Rosé. Appetizers - the Fish Soup, Warm Goat Chz Salad & my house smoked Salmon - were excellent as well!
The Hostess managed all seatings & waits so professionally & still took time to revisit us to make sure we were happy at the table she chose for us!!! Merci.
So HIGHLY recommend this place - save me a table there any day, any time.

My Husband and I were in Montreal for business as well as pleasure. We found Lemeac to be an inviting place. The menu was wonderful, and had many options to consider. We also found the wine list to be broad, but not to the point of being overwhelming. I would highly recommend this fun spot!
