Once again a fabulous menu with all the incredible elements being well described as each course was served. The changing screen enhancing the journey!

With a warm welcome we entered the secret Hideaway. The interior was a nice sized room with lots of table space and a huge TV screen. The owner and chef greeted everyone and delivered the first course of liquid nitrogen frozen popcorn! Following were amazing courses covering seafood and meat. The portions looked small but were incredibly tasty and we were both full at the end of the 10 courses! All of the staff were immensely friendly and genuinely proud of the food. It felt like a lovely family run atmosphere. At the end of the experience the chef spoke at length with us and made us lick our lips in anticipation of going again!

Our 3rd visit ………so something must be right! The room has a real buzz, like a lively bar. The staff were all welcoming, professional and knowledgeable from top to bottom. These all set the scene for the food, which delivered a complex and fascinating journey for the palate. We’ll be back.

What a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, and the chef’s creativity just shines in everything, from the ingredients, to the combinations, to the presentation. Black cod was incredible! Service was fantastic, with every member of the team being attentive and personable. Cosy atmosphere and a great playlist. Hands down one of the best fine dining experiences among many renowned and Michelin starred restaurants. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at Journey. From being met by Finn at the door to absolutely incredible food. Excellent service from everyone. Attention to detail first class. We throughly enjoyed everything. As the name implies you are definitely on a journey, would 100% recommend

This was an amazing experience and one which we will treasure. A wonderful evening of incredible food, delicious wines and superb service. The time and effort taken in choosing the decor, fixtures and fittings, the display, the soundtrack and, in fact, every single thing was exceptional.

A fantastic experience from start to finish, a warm welcome and very attentive staff. The food like we expected was just incredible! It pushed our boundaries and didn’t disappoint. We will definitely come back again.
