   Exceptional food that keeps faithful to the estate’s produce, plants and animals. Wines from their South African wine yard were wonderful. Highly recommend this.

   I am a professional forager and so to discover your menu is around wild food from the gardens was an added bonus for me!! All delicious except for the aged beef; I found it too strong and off putting although it was like butter to cut and clearly once a lovely bit of meat. Not another person in our dinning room or anywhere which I found a little disappointing as the restaurant lacked atmosphere but this is not your fault. Wishing you all the best as Leonardslee holds many fond memories.

   For such a new restaurant we were amazed at the service, outstanding food and the knowledge of the food and wines. Fine dining at its absolute best. The South African slant on locally foraged ingredients was brilliantly executed. The South African wines we were recommended were excellent value for superb wine. I wish them every success.
