   Our table was ready 30 minutes after our reservation time. The food showed up not as hot; probably sat too long before the servers picked up from kitchen. All in all, seems like a place for tourists & fans of DR.

   Not many restaurants know fine dining anymore. Guy Savoy will exceed expectations and surprise everyone!

   We had an amazing experience last night celebrating my husband’s birthday. The food, the ambiance, the attentiveness of the staff were all top notch! The bread selection was out of this world and the imported butter heavenly. I had the soup and salmon, while my husband had the chicken. The table side presentation of the salmon was so unique and its taste exquisite. We ended the night with a birthday dessert.

   From the moment you check in, you feel welcomed. Alain is the manager and has been there since we started coming almost 18-19 years ago. He makes sure everything is perfect. JP has been our head waiter multiple times and always looks after us. We took our daughter back this time and he made her feel special. She has loved Guy Savoy since first coming at a much younger age. Our favorite is always the Colors of Caviar. We always have it added on to any tasting menu if not on it. I had the Louis XIII menu this time. Was well worth the price tag. Savored every bite. And the the tasting of Louis XIII at the end was surprisingly very good. Recommend Guy Savoy to everyone. Andrew made our wine experience and pairing exciting and informative. He is always so excited about wines. Andre kept us full of bread and water. Offered great insight into breads and desserts. Definitely will be back.

    For spending a few thousand dollars, I would expect better service and food. The presentation and ambiance were good. The sommelier would give the right pour for the wine tasting. But the taller French waiter short poured every time. Food wise, the main course of the Wagyu and Lobster were lackluster. It was quite loud at the restaurant and mostly from all the servers talking and bustling around. The tall French waiter was rude to a table next to us where they did not speak much English. The woman asked for utensils and the waiter said it was finger food course. But she gestured she wanted a fork. The waiter raised his voice and gestured back to use fingers. It’s like the waiter would not give up. At our table he was impolite in that two of our water glasses were empty and so one person at our table poured water for himself. The tall French waiter grabbed the bottle from over his shoulder and took it away. The other glass was never filled and remained empty for like at least 5-7 minutes. On the positive side, the pre-dessert, dessert, and post-dessert were good.
