We loved our experience. It was cold. I wore long johns, and two pair of fleece lined leggings. A hoodie and a very warm jacket. I had electronic hand warmers, wool socks and winter water proof boots and winter lined gloves and it was still cold. So be prepared for that. I would have added one more layer had I known the level of cold it would be lol and more warmers for my pockets. We were seated at a beautiful table setting made of ice. It was beautiful. We started with a soup that was a nice hot broth with Foie gras and boar bacon. The soup had a bread baked on top and bread and butter on the side. The warm broth was welcome. After the soup, we recived the short ribs that was more like a peice of roast on a turnip puree and root veggies. This was delicious. Last we were brought a coconut and passionate flute desert. Hands down Best desert I've had in a long long time. The service was wonderful and my child has a nut allergy. I let them know in my reservation and they were so accommodating in making sure my sons dinner was nut free. He got the soup without the bread, he got the roast and for desert they brought him dived variety of fruits. Everything was wonderful and I highly recommend this experience.

Thank you, Frontenac Hotel' de la Glace, for fulfilling one of my "bucket list" items in the best way possible. Your ice hotel was even more amazing than I imagined. I would like to extend my special, heart-felt thanks to your staff, who were so nurturing and warming -- even in an ice palace! In particular, we had an elderly woman with us who was frail, had not brought the proper clothing. She became extremely cold and was shaking. Your attentive staff noticed her conditon and immediately responded... wrapp;ing her in a heated blanket and giving her "hand warmers" and "feet warmers. They were so caring and I know made this a most memorable experience for her too. The food was excellent, the environment exquisite and I hope someday to be back. MERCI BEAUCOUPS!!!!

Amazing place to see but very expensive for the meal served. You pay for the experience, the whole ice hotel is incredible.
