Restaurant Carpe Diem is located in the clubhouse of the Sankt Urbanus golf course in Kšln. Guests can enjoy Italian and American cuisine in the beautifully decorated dining room or opt to their meal on the outdoor terrace in the summer months. Both options overlook the breathtaking green grounds. Carpe Diem is open to the public as well as to members of the clubhouse. Reservations are required so that seating is assured upon arrival. Large get-togethers such as weddings, corporate events and family gatherings can be organized at Carpe Diem.

Was überhaupt nicht klappte, war die Zusammenarbeit des Lokals mit OPENTABLE. Trotz bestätigter Reservierung - und pünktlicher Erinnerung - war dem Service nichts von einer Reservierung bekannt. Im Gegenteil: Das Restaurant sollte eigentlich am Ostersamstag geschlossen sein. Der persönliche Einsatz des Kochs hat unseren Abend noch gerettet. Er zauberte uns ein sehr gutes Menue, so dass wir "entschädigt" wurden. Die Qualität des Restaurants steht in krassem Gegensatz zu dem Auftritt im Internet. Es gibt dort keinen Hinweis auf aktuelle Öffnungszeiten, aktuelle Speisekarten und direkte Ansprechpartner (es soll wohl alles über OPENTABLE laufen). Das erfordert jedoch funktionierende Kommunikationsflüsse, die wir nicht feststellen konnten.

Etwas abgelegen, aber mit sehr schöner Sonnenterrasse mit Blick auf Golfplatz. Essen und Trinken sind zur Zeit eher als Erfrischung vor oder nach dem Golf ausgerichtet, eine etwas gehobenere Gastronomie sei allerdings in Planung. Das Service-Team war super-freundlich und gut gelaunt, vielen Dank für die nette Betreuung!
