Experience award-winning fine dining in a modern, contemporary setting while supporting our highly talented students on their journey to professional excellence. Restaurant at Birmingham College of Food offers top quality food and service delivered by students training on our chef, food service courses under the guidance of industry expert tutors at University College Birmingham.

Restaurant provides exceptional value for money for high levels of cooking, service, creative flair and quality seasonal produce. Our Dinner Menu might include delicious fish and shellfish, premium beef, lamb, poultry or game, and imaginative vegetarian dishes. This runs alongside a lunchtime menu providing excellent value for money. The restaurant also draws on a dedicated pastry section where our skilled student chefs produce an array of elegant desserts.

The restaurant is available for exclusive use for private events for lunches and or dinners. with the capacity to accommodate 120 guests, it is the perfect space. We offer menus to suit you and your guests, this can be for birthdays, Holy Communions, special anniversaries, we are here to help. We were greeted and seated promptly. The wines were explained and options suggested were chosen and both were very good, went perfectly with our meals. The order was taken politely and efficiently. Throughout the meal the waiter was attentive but not overly so. Our food was all delicious, well presented and served. A very lovely experience

Considering that this is a training restaurant, the quality of the food is excellent. Our waiter, Jacob, had brilliant customer service skills and served us very professionally. The ambience in the restaurant is very relaxing and makes it even more enjoyable when eating such delicious food. The meal was very good value for money. Well done and thank you, I will definitely be coming back.

This was our first visit to this restaurant (my wife and I). The whole experience and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the snack which was Arancini. Lemonsole starter and belly of pork mains were top class. The same standard that you would get in a top restaurant but lighter on the wallet. We ordered baked Alaska for desert which was also very good. Our waiter Daniel needs special mention for his knowledge of the dishes and courteous service. On the whole we had a great evening. Thank you.

Food was very good. Although there was a large party in the other side of the restaurant my friend and I - and a man at another table were the only ones in there so no ambience. Perhaps you should stock more 0% alcoholic drinks.
