    The lamb shank was delicious. Our granddaughter had the grill cheese and ate it all. Our server was great along with the presentation of our meal. 👍👍👍

    Another fabulous dinner in a small, intimate atmosphere l. We shared the soup of day which was butternut squash with molasses pecans & greens, then split the roo tartare, which was exceptional, again ! We both ordered the special feature of duck with blueberry glaze, lemon risotto & sautĂ©ed kale. We’re STILL talking about how superb that dish was !! Finished with the chocolate salami for dessert & even though neither of us are big “chocolate desserts” fans, it was amazing & would definitely order it again! Shout out to Taylor for her attentive service! Special Thank you to Chef Megan, for bringing fine dining to Granbury!!! You will be seeing us, often!!!

    Dishes were delicious and had multi layers of flavors. I had the shrimp and pasta dish. My wife had the bison burger. It was more than she could eat. We also had a cake for dessert that complemented the meal just right. It maybe hard to find but definitely worth it.

    If you want a nice quiet place for lunch, this is the place. Service is excellent and so is the food. A little on the pricey side but the portions are large and food is fresh. Worth it!

    Our group of ladies meets monthly to go to lunch and I selected Anise Restaurant for our destination on Friday. There were 8 of us and we had a great time. Most of us selected the special: the cod and Orzo and it was fantastic! I missed a little more seasoning on the cod but the orzo offset it beautifully. The service was prompt and very friendly. The cold soup was a new experience for me ( it was intended as such) and the flavor was well done. I would recommend and I would try a new menu item myself.

    Absolutely wonderful evening at Restaurant Anise. We forgot to take pictures, but enjoyed our food. The salmon “carpaccio” was refreshing and flavorful and my husband who is a salmon snob really loved it. I got the stuffed soft shell crab which was well prepared but we cannot stop talking about the succotash that accompanied it. So flavorful and delicious. The Cornish hen was not my thing but my husband really liked it. Wonderful service! The value for what we paid was incredible. Driving out to Granbury was totally worth it. Will be back for this little gem.

    We enjoyed our dinner at Restaurant Anise. The menu is always creative and there is always at least one wild game offering. I had the Freedom Ranger (Cornish hen) and my husband had the antelope chop. Both were excellent! If you’re looking for special dining in Granbury, this is the place. It never disappoints.

    Food was amazing! This is worth a visit. The chilled tomato and basil soup is a must! Definitely a hidden gem in Granbury but worth going off the square to get this kind of meal and service.

    Anise is the only real fine dining restaurant in Granbury. The rest pretend to be but fall short. The menu at Anise is always changing and so far far everything we have tried has been excellent. I particularly like the Lobster Roll and the Soft Shell Crab. The only way they may fall short is in the desert menu but maybe that's just me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    My husband and I came here for lunch on our anniversary. The food was fantastic and the service was quick. The menu is changed quarterly, but we had the whipped goat cheese appetizer, lobster roll, pork belly banh mi sandwich, and chocolate mousse with coffee and tea for dessert. My husband doesn't usually like goat cheese, but loved theirs. We dressed up since it was a special occasion for us, but there isn't a dress code. We saw people in shorts, jeans, and tee shirts. We will definitely be going back!

    My husband and I veered out of our comfort zone to try something new for our date night! It was spectacular! Chef Megan’s attention to detail without out sacrificing taste and flavor, appearance or the ambiance was a balancing act that not many are able to accomplish. All of the flavors are perfectly balanced and complement each other wonderfully. The tea is also amazing! Our waitress was so patient and took the time to describe everything we inquired about. What an honor to dine at the Restaurant Anise. Try something new

    I was surprised to find this type of cuisine in Granbury! The quiet music and candlelight gave it a romantic ambiance. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was beautifully presented and Chef Megan Babineau prepared each dish with a wonderful mix of fresh ingredients and seasonings. We will return and will certainly bring out of town guests.

    Wonderful place to have dinner! Exceptional food flavors and quality! Pork chop was perfect, thick, flavorful, and filling, and the duck was cooked just right, juicy, braised, flavorful, with sweet potatoes and blue berry sauce - awesome!     My girlfriend Linda and I went to this lovely restaurant on Saturday evening. I had let them know ahead of time that one of our party was vegetarian. We had a great meal and I was especially surprised with the beautiful and delicious vegetarian main course that was prepared just for me with fresh ingredients from the local farmers market. Head chef Megan Babineau and her team made the the evening so special, we'll definitely be recommending Anise to our Granbury and Dallas friends.
