   Elegant property on the National Register of Historic Places,and the onsite restaurant is very fine.We both had the asparagus bisque,which was quite good and the paneed catfish(a battered frying technique which can also be used for chicken or veal) also very good.Great experience.

   What a gem! Anchuca means "happy Home" in Choctaw, and we certainly found that to be true. We were celebrating our anniversary and could not have picked a better place. Kerri was fantastic as she was very fun and friendly. The food was excellent ad the atmosphere impeccable. If you want a lovely, quiet, romantic evening, this is the place. It was perfect.

   Best meal of our trip! Phenomenal food and service!! If we are ever back in Vicksburg, this is the place to go to!!!

   We ate in the Library, and it was utterly lovely. Loved the dining playlist too -- quiet music is an important part of the experience. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and it was the best I've ever tasted. A lovely experience on every level.

   My husband and I enjoyed a lovely experience in this very old authentic southern house. I had the catfish for the very first time. I definitely am a fan of the taste. My husband had the pork ribeye which was very meaty. The ambience and server were the exact mix of southern hospitality.
