Named “Europe’s Best Hotel Fine Dining Restaurant 2022” by World Culinary Awards, Alfred Keller puts the island of Lošinj on the culinary map. Being one of only 10 Michelin-starred restaurants in the whole of Croatia, the restaurant, housed within the spectacular Boutique hotel Alhambra, serves up modern European fine-dining cuisine with the occasional Asian twist, using only the freshest ingredients, both sourced locally and overseas. The 3-course signature menu is complemented by a daily changing 4-course menu and an additional a-la-carte selection. Must-try dishes include Chef Michael Gollenz’ Adriatic Fish Fillet with Fregola Sarda and Oxtail Ravioli with Foie Gras, yet the menu also features comfort food such as a Wiener Schnitzel. The wine list with well over 600 positions has been recognized by Wine Spectator with the Best of Award of Excellence.

Catastrophic experience of private party paid by other guests (that were not part of the party). Felt like a cheap weeding with live music. Unfortunately, the food and wines were outstanding, but due all other factors the total experience was catastrophic. One feels like someone is making you a fool for your own money (and this was not a cheap ride). Never ever again!!!

Toujours un grand plaisir de dîner dans ce restaurant. Le lieu est magnifique. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins. La cuisine est excellente. Et le sommelier est de très bons conseils.

Das Essen war hervorragend, top Weinempfehlung und Bedienung war sehr gut. Habe Nedim vermisst, welcher letztes Jahr unser Kellner war.

Beautiful tasty food. Everything on the plate had sense. Service is on very high level. In the end, Chef has come out to say hello. Our evening was perfect!

Excellent “innovation” tasting menu and we appreciated the flexibility of the hosts allowing us to change the desert. Absolutely delicious bottle of Chilean Cab Sauv. Tasty desert wine. Very generous complimentary glass of rose sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. Waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgable. If I had to find any faults, the “king fish” course was a little bland compared to the rich flavours of the rest of the meal, but over all it was a great evening.

Nous avons passé une soirée magnifique. De l’accueil jusqu’au dessert tout était parfait. Nous avons commencé la soirée avec un cocktail qui vous est présenté et servis à table. Nous avons continué avec le menu 4 services qui était époustouflant de créativité. Le sommelier était de très bon conseil et ses choix de vin pour chaque plat très soigneusement sélectionné. La qualité du poisson sur l’île de Lošinj est toujours au top et d’avoir réussi à nous surprendre avec une préparation du poisson aussi savoureuse était une découverte et un plaisir. Nous tenons à remercie tant le chef pour sa cuisine que l’équipe de serveur qui sont d’une attention particulière pour chaque client.
