The name and decor were inspired by the legendary 917 race car, which gave Porsche its first overall wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970 and 1971.

Experience Porsche’s legendary 917 at Restaurant 917 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Join us for an exclusive lunch at Restaurant 917, located on the second floor of the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles, as we celebrate the extraordinary racing heritage of the Porsche 917. Enjoy an optional French-inspired three-course prix fixe menu crafted by Executive Chef Matt Lee, served in our French countryside–themed setting—a tribute to the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. With 19 victories, Porsche remains the most successful manufacturer in Le Mans history. The prix fixe is $75 per person (beverages, tax and service not included). Our à la carte lunch menu will also be available. Reservations are highly recommended—space is limited and this event will sell out.

I took my husband here for his birthday and it was a better experience than we could’ve imagined. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing. My husband loved being seated by the windows and he was able to watch the cars on the track as we enjoyed our meal. Excellent staff! Would definitely recommend and come again!

We had a wonderful time from arrival to depart! We got there a little early so we got to enjoy the view from first floor, had quick coffee and matcha late at the cafe [which is delicious] Definitely will be back.

The check in process is a little weird since they make each of the party members sign in at the entrance but we weren’t aware of this so we were early to our reservation but I was nervous the check in process would delay us. Once you check in you get a sticker to wear them you can head upstairs to the restaurant. The service at the restaurant made up for the weird entrance experience. The food was great and our server was so nice.
