I ordered the diver scallops with spaghetti squash. Absolutely delicious. Scallops were succulent and tender. Would definitely order again. The potato soup was also delicious and flavorful. The pretzel read was a real treat, not to mention the butter shaped in the likeness of a Porsche! How cute it is that!! It was nice to dine and watch the cars on the obstacle course. What a beautiful concept this venue is. Very fine and elegant dining. Anxious to try other entrees. Staff was very cordial and attentive.
Special and unique setting with a view on the Porsche Experience course. Attentive service and very good modern California cuisine. The driving instructors have a break from 12:30 to shortly before 2 pm so if you want to actually see the Porsche cars on the course I recommend to consider this.
Obviously, this is a Porsche showpiece. Everything must be impeccable. And it was. From the warm and friendly greeting of the downstairs security guard to the professional, attentive service of our waitress to the minimalist ,yet luxurious decor, it was, indeed, impeccable.
My friend and I shared the roasted pear salad, a generous serving, even when halved. We then shared a pork chop. That's right. Shared a pork chop. A 14 oz. Tomahawk chop cooked to perfection, and served with a grand marnier, glazed apple and honey mustard sauce. It was superb.
We'll be back -- to one of the South Bay's truly great restaurants.
Great food great service great experience
Incredible lunch after the Porsche driving experience which was also exceptional. View of the track whilst dining. Lovely space, excellent selection of champagne. Food was both creative and delicious. Oysters were perfect, ceviche delicious and scallops really well done!
Loved the butter in the shape of a Porsche with a little sea salt and pretzel bread!
Loved the whole thing!!!! Oh and forgot to mention Ben, our server, who was just great!
So fun watching the track while dining. Excellent food and service.
We loved every part of our experience! The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable! Loved the ambience! Excited to go back for lunch to see the cars on the track. Just recommended this restaurant to a friend who entertains for business.
Great meal following a day of driving on the track. Definitely a to do in Southern California even if you are not a Porsche owner.
Great restaurant, good food and a fantastic view of the Porche track. I would highly recommend dinning at 917.
Great autos and almost great food in a nice clean modern facility!
Wish they were open on Sundays too!
Love this restaurant delicious food we had a table by the window which overlook the Porsche track which is entertaining Tyler is an awesome waiter he givesbexceptional service
great food in modern, unique setting. staff very informative.
Great for Porsche people, but really a good experience for any automotive driver (as opposed to those who simply steer). Good fun watching the jelly beans on the various tracks and on the skid pad and ice hill.
Oh, and the food we chose was very good and well presented. Great German beer too.
Superb food and attentive/cheerful service - a great dining experience!
Went there to watch someone one do the driving experience and then had dinner. Great thing is bar is open for happy hour from 2-5 on Saturday. Drinks were good long pours and appetizers were tasty. Most stuff is $6 on the happy hour menu. The only thing that is lame is that you have to eat at the bar which isn't facing the track. So it makes eating and drinking awkward as you always have to turn around. The dining room tables were empty so I don't see why they couldn't let you sit. Also people wound up standing by the tables so it was blocking your view. Stupid set up.
Dinner was great. Food is good. I had the tomahawk pork chop and it was tasty. Service was great. Good to go and try as a dining experience but a little too expensive for everyday dining.
Lively vibe, great window views of cars & track. Very good, interesting food and cocktails. The butter sculpted as Porsche cars was super cute! Did not add a picture of the dessert because I took the spoon to it the moment it landed on the table.
Everything was perfect! The whole experience was worth it! The food was exceptional! Everything we ordered down to the pretzel bread was spectacular!
Great staff and the food was memorable
It was a great find to go on a special day in South Bay. It is a little weird because it feels like entering to a fancy Porsche dealership. However, it is heavenly upstairs! I want to come back for lunch sometime soon to have a lunch with the view of Porsches going super fast on the track.
Staff was friendly ,attentive and knowledgeable . Food was fantastic and price was good. I’m definitely coming back. Definitely a hidden gem for now.
The first weekend of March, the Porsche world comes to LA. So Cal Porsche Week. After visiting many Porsche restoration vendors at their Open Houses, this is the second year where we end our Friday night at PEC for dinner. We will do the same next year.
The staff and food are really that good
Hands down best dining experience I have ever had! I had the gnocchi- so good, practically melts in your mouth! The menu changes a lot based on seasonal availability so I will be coming back again soon!
One of my favorite Restaurants in Los Angeles. I am a creature of habit and once I find a favorite for amazing fresh food and tasty drinks it stays on the list thanks to reoccurring quality! The vibe is great and Tyler & Marry along with the rest of everyone we see for lunch and dinner or just drinks are AWESOME!
Very energetic vibe - fast cars, great food, excellent service. I've been here a few times now and the experience has always been top notch and enjoyable.
Lunch or dinner at Restaurant 917 never disappoints. From the unique and beautiful environment to the extraordinarily delicious and beautifully-plated dishes, the entire experience is exceptional. It's still a bit of a hidden gem but everyone who goes there once seems to go back again and again. Chef Matt also keeps the menu fresh, seasonal and intriguing so there is always something new. Highly recommended for a business lunch or lovely evening out.
I loved it. I just wish driving the cars was a little less expensive. Maybe next time I will drive if I have more money. But other than that great experience from everything.
For a restaurant that is not stand alone, I would not have expected as wonderful of a meal as we had. We enjoyed the three course tasting menu which was brought out with perfect presentation and taste. The views of the track below were good entertainment. The restaurant embodied the Porsche philosophy and did not disappoint. We were very impressed with the thoughtful details.
Very nice ! Ambience and noise level at 11:30 was quiet, 12:30 much noisier but it was fine. We arrived early for watching cars on track and seeing museum . Staff super helpful and knowledgeable. Took of town nephew- he loved it. The meal was delicious and presentation beautiful. Will def go again with my husband and friends.
Where else can you go to be around world class automobiles and cuisine all in one place? This is a place where the lines blur between what you are eating, the ambiance, and the trill of being within sight and sound of an exquisite track experience. Cheers!
Very fun place for Porsche lovers! Lovely lunch.
I went to Porsche to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my fiancé and my son Christopher who loves cars and I have never experienced such a great evening with such good food and a nice view it was a great experience for me and I would do it all the over again. the prices are right, the waitress and waiter were super nice I loved it my son loved it and it was the best.
This was our first experience at Porsche Experience celebrating Valentine Day. I look forward to experiencing dining from the regular menu
Went for Valentine’s Day. We were well taken care of service is exceptional and the food was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back for lunch when I do my next track day.
Service was slow and not up to the standard you would expect from similar price range restaurants. The server, while clearing dishes spilled leftover soup on my jacket. He noticed the miss-step but continued as nothing happened, without an apology.
Food was average, scallops were exceptional but spaghetti squash was served in a watery sauce and lacked taste.
This restaurant was FANTASTIC! Exquisitely prepared with fabulous flavors with an eloquent presentation. We absolutely loved our lunch.
The noise level was so high that my wife and I literally had to yell to hold a conversation. The wait staff was slow after we got our original drink order. The food was actually pretty good but took almost an hour to arrive after ordering. This place may be a better bet if you're going to lunch after the driving experience, but will not be coming back for dinner.
Attentive service with intimate setting. Great food.
Outstanding service from the moment I booked until the end of the meal. Once more people realize this exists, I am certain it will be impossible to book a table. A hidden gem.
Be sure to check when the course is being used. Cars don’t run continuously.
