From the drinks to dinner, everything was delicious. Friendly waitstaff and bartenders. I highly recommend this restaurant in Providence.

Celebrated our anniversary - great atmosphere, food and service.

The Shrimp Tempura was a fantastic surprise. The attention to detail in plating my Ahi Tuna Bowl and the Lamb Chops was appreciated. The service was super and pace perfect. What an amazing gem. Loved it!

Great new vibe, innovative menu, try the teriyaki bacon by all means. The chicken is good and plentiful but the sauce there doesn't work very well. Limited high end liquor options. Great service, efficient and friendly, valet parking. And it's far cleaner than Bravo was when it occupied the space!

first time visit had a great time, valet parking available, server was excellent, seated immediately with a reservation, kitchen was prompt and portions were generous, would definitely go back

What a treat to find a great restaurant that survived. I don't know how they did it starting up last year but do yourself a favor and try it out. We're over an hour away and happened to be going to Providence for another reason and was looking for dinner prior.
We've been to other very good to excellent restaurants in the area, but this has to be the new number one.
We had the seafood risotto and Mongolian Lamb and both were outstanding.

Had the charcuterie to start fabulous and just got better from there

Fantastic food. Very generous portions. We loved both the warm lobster roll as well as the fresh pappardelle. We also loved the free fresh bread with salted butter! SO good - can’t wait to go back!

Best spot in Providence!!! You can’t be disappointed. Get the Bacon app, fallen Apple drink, and a steak! Game over ! They crush it every time! #RES

An excellent meal. Staff was pleasant and prompt. Food was excellent. Seating a little tight where we were but the space is very nice.

GREAT food, drinks, and service...does anything else really matter?! Lobster Tempura and Scotch Egg apps were on point, and the Tuna bowl was phenomenal. We will be back!

Unbelievable experience! The moment I walked in I was greeted by super friendly staff. The drink were delicious, food was out of this word and the waitstaff was extremely attentive. Overall 10 out of 10!! Highly recommend!!

We had Mother's Day brunch. The price was great and the food was fantastic. Looking forward to going to dinner there soon!

Res is a gem in downtown Providence! The atmosphere is friendly and the vibe is very hip with a beautiful interior. The Mother's Day Brunch was delicious, inventive and beautifully plated. The cost of each meal was fair, it isn't a budget restaurant but is priced accordingly. Each plate was a good sized portion, and the cocktails weren't skimpy either. The location is perfect for eating before or after a show at Trinity Rep, which I've done for many years and look forward to doing so under the new ownership. I can't wait to go back for date night with my husband!

I read reviews about Res American Bistro prior to making my reservation and I must say im glad I did. I can't agree more with what everyone said. The food was soooo good! the drinks were great. The staff was so nice! Definitely try the lamb chops!

Took my family here for a birthday dinner and we had our first dinner out since Covid and I am so glad we chose this place! Servers and staff were attentive and friendly. Food was beautifully prepared. Try the bacon teriyaki. Will be returning!

Thought this was very good. My cocktail was a bit disappointing/underwhelming but good wine selection. We started with charcuterie board which was good but a bit small for 4 people for $20. No explanation about what was on board. Oysters were great. Grilled wedge was fantastic (subbed balsamic vinaigrette). I think I was the only one not 100% thrilled with their entree. I got the seafood risotto. The seafood was great (scallops, shrimp and pieces of lobster claw). The risotto was more of a soupy rice than anything and flavor was a bit one note overall. Fiancé and our friend got 2 different steaks they both loved and my friend got the seared tuna which was delicious. We passed on desserts. Service was good. Busy and a little slow with our entrees but we expected that on a busy night and are understandable with the restaurants having staffing challenges. We will be back for sure.

Took my mom here for Mother’s Day after a day of shopping . Loved that there was valet. Valet was very pleasant and quick. Our waiter was so attentive and knowledgeable. All of his recommendations were amazing ! The teriyaki bacon is a must have . Everyone was genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in the door ..

Really enjoyed our first visit to the new restaurant at the former Bravo Brasserie location. The service from Jess at the bar was outstanding. Cocktails were great, and the scotch eggs, lobster tempura and tuna bowl were fabulous.

We completely enjoyed our date night, the date seat facing the theater was very special. Food, service and everything was fantastic and we'll be back!!

Perfect. I think this restaurant will be very successful.

The desserts and drinks were really good. The ocean risotto was Ok, not impressed (needs more seafood) and lamb chops also did not impress. But the restaurant was just too loud making communication with our friends and server very hard. I think the acoustic in the second floor just makes it louder and also table are too close together.

Simply outstanding, from the service, main course to the scotch eggs! Will definitely be returning, Hopefully Trinity Rep opens up soon

Food was great -cool vibe inside the restaurant too. Reminded me of a typical busy NYC place. I intend to return for another meal. Parking with the valet was convenient.
