the team was welcoming two new employees. the team was also on a very tight schedule. the reservation was updated twice and still no issues. our service was excellent and fast and we were back at the office in record time with much less stress for the great experience. thank you to all!
We were there for brunch. Our hot dishes came half cold half warm-ish. Service was just not at the level you’d expect for a 20% automatic gratuity (we were a larger group so we had to pay the 20% even though it wasn’t deserved)
Our server was amazing! The food was mostly great. It was too loud but we loved it overall.
Great service. Second time here. We had a tapas style dinner...pretty much ordered all the appetizers, plus the sampler. More than enough for 4 ppl covering a broad profile of flavors. Satisfying. Very accommodating and efficient service.
Worst version of steak frites we’ve both ever had. I chose Republic because it was supposed to be a special occasion but what a mistake.
The french fries were dried out and burnt, the “steak” was shoe leather skirt steak at best I could have had anything else and possibly a different experience. We both asked for mid well and it was rock hard, flavorless and dried out. And for $50 we could have gone somewhere so much better.
The server didn’t even ask how it was, cause I would have been pretty blunt. Instead we paid & left to share our experience with others. Just because the bulk of your business is kept alive simply based on location doesn’t mean you shouldn’t provide decent quality food.
Our waitress provided excellent service and the food was delicious!
It was great!
Can I give more than 5-stars?! That's just how amazing the staff, food, drinks and overall experience is at Re:public. This was our second time. The first time my boyfriend and I were wandering around and happened upon this place and decided to pop in for dinner. It was a magical experience (please bring back those mussels with the spicy peppers and corn broth! Omg, I still dream about it!) The bar staff was jovial and entertaining, perfectly interactive while we dined, and service, impeccable. Courteous, prompt, thoughtful...well, to have a night like that repeated you would think near impossible! Well guess again!! Last night was a celebration of my brother's birthday. I had requested, if possible, on OpenTable if we could possibly sit at the bar because of our awesome experience last time. I figured 1) people rarely read notes and 2) it's a hassle so why would anyone bother. Well, we came in for our 7:30 reservation and there at the bar was a chalkboard sign with our reservation name and three spaces saved at the bar. (Mind you, it's busy and they still held 3 spot!) Tyler behind the bar and the rest of the staff were awesome! Meals were perfectly coursed, wine and waters never empty, and to even bring us extra broth for our mussels! (I'm tellin' ya'll--get the mussels!) We dined on the wild boar bolognese again (phenomenal) and the pheasant (bomb! Crispy and juicy). They not only met the mark from our first visit, they far exceeded my expectations!! Huge shout out to the Manager on duty--he runs a perfect, beautiful restaurant. We will 1000% be back and have found our new favorite spot in Seattle. Thank you for making our celebration as if it were your own!
For great dining, I cannot recommend based on food. (However the small plates appeared suitable for a quick Happy Hour). While the atmosphere was lovely, the menu appealing and food presentation beautiful, the taste of the meal was underwhelming-especially for the price. Food was unbalanced, bland, tough meats and overcooked/oily vegetables. Even the shared dessert, Chocolate Cherry Torte, was left after several bites because it simply didn’t taste good. Service met expectation and we had a great bottle of wine, but I won’t return.
Ambiance was good food was underwhelming. The menu could use some sprucing up. It tries to be sophisticated but it doesn’t succeed.
The waitress and host (same person) was extremely rude. Without even welcoming us the first thing she said was “it’s a 30 minute wait” when we had made a reservation and I immediately told her that and said “ok it will be 5-10 minutes”. She walked away without one of colleagues finishing her sentence, didn’t ask how we were doing, we had to call her over for water refills and rolled her eyes. Definitely was not a good experience.
Terrific restaurant near the Amazon campus. Creative menu selections. Good cocktail options. More like a local restaurant versus a tourist spot. You can walk in or make reservations. Reservations are better for larger parties. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good.
Good food, plenty of water and great service. Table a bit wobbly and very noisy
What an amazing brunch menu! That was the best breakfast burrito of my life!
Food was just ok with exception of the sourdough bread and butter. It seemed to take a while given the lack of people at the restaurant
Bartenders and wild boar Bologna’s were great. Excellent bourbon selection
Had an excellent evening at Re:public! All of the food was simply delicious, well presented and plentiful.
Food and beverages were very good and competitive with establishments of the same genre. Nothing exceptional in the food.... well prepared, good portions, but not unique....extensive whiskey and rye selections. Our server was A+.....
I have been to Republic several times and have always enjoyed my experience. I generally recommend Republic when I have out of town guests at home or at work because the location is great, the food is always fabulous and the service is outstanding.
Excellent experience. Small plates were great - cauliflower, brussel sprouts and steak bites. Then for dinner the seafood linguine and fish dish were also very good. We left stuffed.
Very ordinary food; the millennials probably like it
Very I unusual food. Wanted french toast but instead the chef decided to surprise me with chocolate syrup coupled with whipped cream on the bread. Too crazy.
My wife and I had been looking forward to having breakfast at Re:public. The atmosphere was great on a World Cup morning and the staff was just as great. Very cool vibe inside. Would love to see it on a busy happy hour. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (with bacon) and my wife order the breakfast burrito. A lot can be said about the kitchen from how they make Eggs Benedict. It’s often the dish to evaluate a chef’s skills...how to make Hollandaise sauce and one of the ways to cook and egg. I was disappointed with my Egg Benedict. The poached eggs were over cooked (see photo)...and I did not like it on sliced bread. The bread is too soft and just became soggy with the Hollandaise sauce. I was not too particular of the two choices for meat on it as well...regular bacon or a sausage patty. I would have rather seen Canadian bacon as a choice...more traditional. The Hollandaise sauce was delicious...creamy with a hint of lemon. My wife’s breakfast burrito was tasty...had a great sauce on it as well. While I was not happy with the Eggs Benedict, I will be coming back to give Re:public another try.
A very nice place if you don't like crowds for brunch. Food is good. The only, subjective, disadvantage is that it does have a dark interior that for some is more associated with dinner time rather than brunch. But we did not mind at all. Great place!
They have the best happy hour!! Their Brussels sprouts and cauliflower are to die for!

The food was excellent, the ambiance was superb, and Emily served us fantastically.
I brought my dad from out of state who is very picky about food. My husband chose the venue that we had never been to. He works downtown and said it’s always busy. It was a hit. Great food and all were pleased. Thanks
The food was incredible! The atmosphere is great, it wasnt too loud. The service was excellent. I will definitely be returning.
We met here close to our hotel, great ambience, food & service. Shout out to Nicole for putting up with our requests, you were great! And we will be back... =]
Worst steak sandwich I’ve had. : (
They were out of items on the menu. The substitutions were good but would’ve been nice to have the listed items.
Great ambiance and service but food and drink were marginal
Riley, our waitress was amazing. We first ordered the roasted cauliflower, which was terribly salty. They were great and credited us for it when we ordered the brussel sprouts instead. The Kurabota pork chop was amazing as was the wild boar paparadelle. Overall a good evening.
It was a great place to get happy hour at! A little pricey compared to my opinion of worth- even on happy hour. Our waitress was a little cold but she was attentive so pick and choose..
Great meal and the service by Rylie was perfect.
Because this was a business lunch, it would have been nicer to have our server take our orders sooner than they did. Otherwise, everything was great.
Easter brunch with wife and sons. Outstanding food. Friendly folks. Great place!
Our server was wonderful, the manager was great. The kitchen made some mistakes on the order and the two meals came late. The manager paid for the meals. It was very nice of them. This is not our normal experience at Re:public, we have always had good meals and great wait staff. I am certain we are going back again...food is delicious.
Great drinks and apps! We had the crispy Brussels sprouts, charcuterie, and sliders. Wow. Also had the Howellhattan, (2 of them!) and it is excellent!
