Repeal is Whiskey Row’s only oak-fired steakhouse, located at the birthplace of J.T.S. Brown & Sons Bourbon Company in Louisville. A stylish departure from a traditional steakhouse, Repeal uses a wood-fired grill stoked daily with reclaimed American Oak bourbon barrels. Repeal is a tribute to the Repeal of Prohibition – a place to see, be seen and celebrate the rich tradition of the building in which it resides.

As always it was a great experience. Michael is phenomenal. Also it was a pleasure to meet the new manager Abigail when she greeted us at our table. All in all a great time and looking forward to coming back!

Repeat customers! The ambience, wait staff, and food is absolutely fantastic every time we dine at Repeal! Don’t forget the Key Lime Pie for dessert! Also, brunch is fantastic too! The Nutella waffles are so light and fluffy! I highly recommend Repeal to everyone!

Repeal did not disappoint. I put it right up there with Jeff Ruby’s as a favorite for special occasion fine dining. Seated promptly and greeted immediately by our outstanding server (Ebraham) the sweetest, most efficient server we’ve ever had. Made recommendations and just went above and beyond. Made our evening so enjoyable. We started out with shrimp cocktail. Big fat meaty and the horseradish cocktail sauce really made it !! We split a wedge salad and that was plenty. And the bread OMG. Melt in your mouth perfection. I had the scallops ( divine) and my husband had the filet which was perfectly cooked. We shared a side of mash potatoes. No room for dessert. Lovely evening at Repeal. Will definitely go back !

Definitely the best Steakhouse in Louisville. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time as this place is always rocking! Restaurant has a great energy, food is amazing, drinks are on point and the staff is second to none.

Excellent food! Wow, the flavors. I recommend trying their cream of spinach side, their Cesar salad, onion soup and the tuna tartare. Wow!
