Absolutely fantastic everything our food came out in a timely manner, the servers were so welcoming and the food was spectacular. If I have one critique the high top chairs are a bit small. There was a couple times I felt like I may fall off. But I will definitely be going back.
The food was delicious and the server was terrific.
This has just re-opened after Covid under a new name. Food was only ok while before Covid, it was exceptional. Atmosphere and service were impeccable.Hope this can get back to Pre Covid 5 stars!
Nice place to experience. Jumbo seared scallops were tasty.
Best scallop I ever had anywhere. Great service topped off a great experience
Good drinks, service (Effie was helpful and gave me many tips about the town) and solid menu
Me and my husband went here for our five year anniversary on a weekend trip to savannah the food was great. Menu was limited to food choices. Bar selection was great. Overall i would definitely return. Our hostess was excellent and knew menu well and provides excellent service as well. We were very happy to see temperature checks at entrance
Loved this place! Went to another place prior and the service was bad and food overpriced so we left there and came here! What a relief it was so close and had an opening!
This used to be one of our favorite places. The service was really good but the food and vibe has changed after the rebranding.
Disappointed with the quality and selection of the food. Still not a bad place but not a special place any longer.
Great atmosphere. It was pretty quiet on a Thursday night, but the music sets an upbeat mood. Scallops were very well done but the chicken pot pie lacked flavor. The chicken itself was well seasoned but the vegetables and biscuits were bland. Mixed together, it was fine.
Absolutely ahhhhhazing. Effy was our server and was incredibly knowledgeable. Any question I had she could answer. This place is exactly what a casual fine dining restaurant should be. Well done.
Great ambiance, fantic service, and generous portions. The food had a very nice flavor palate. A must have on this visit was craft cocktail. With Covid 19 also a very safe and clean environment for dinner.
We were quite sad at the overall service. First, we were seated against the wall, close to the entrance on a small table for two with minimal visual of the inside of the restaurant. It resembled what we described as a “time-out” table. Secondly, there was a limited number of Entrees on the menu. We decided on the the scallop dish. We arrived at 7:45 and ordered the charcuterie app, which was very good. By 8:25 the waiter told us they were out of Scallops, which is what I was set on. The service was kind of slow to begin with, and the other options weren’t interesting. No discount for the inconvenience. They were sorry. I would suggest an earlier than 7pm dinner reservation for Repeal. That way you may get a table with a nicer visual of the restaurant, and they won’t have run out of menu items.
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Masks were required and they took our temperatures when we arrived. We waited a bit for our server to appear but was aware he had a large table. I gave it 4 stars as our appetizers came out before our drinks. Other than that, great restaurant. Food was good and despite being busy, our server was very informative, helpful and had a wonderful personality. Chicken and Dumplings plus the brussel sprouts were amazing! We also got the oysters and were the best we'd had in Savannah. You must visit!
Typical bar food, hot entree arrived cold. Extremely noisy
Bar totally understaffed. 45 min to get drinks served to our table.
An amazing meal. Chef's menu was awesome. Wine pairing that was perfect. Effie was our server. Friendly and attentive.
Wonderful Sunday brunch!!!
The food was just bland. Between us, we ordered 5 items and all of them were low on flavor. The drinks were fine. The service and ambience was outstanding though.
First time to Savannah
Awesome ambiance and great for birthday celebrations. Bartenders and servers were fabulous
Waited 1 hour before we got a drink and when it arrived it was the worst espresso martini I’d ever had. They explained there’s only 1 bar tender and that’s why we waited so long... maybe consider getting more staff on a busy Friday night.
We celebrated my moms birthday weekend in Savannah. They did a really nice job of making her night special at Repeal 33. We had great food and fun atmosphere. Our family commented that it was some of the best food that we had when we were visiting in Savannah. They also took some extra steps to ensure safety during the COVID pandemic, which we appreciated and I’m sure others would too. Very nice and helpful server. Just a really great experience!
Excellent food and our waiter was perfect.
Matt was awesome. Food was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere. Will be back and letting friends know.
Great fun! Three excellent meals. The specialty gin was outstanding. Covid precautions in place and not invasive. Good night have asked for a better evening.
Excellent Service and great food. I highly recommend this.
We enjoyed tasting a few starters. My husband loved the gazpacho. Great vibe, clean and excellent service.
We had an amazing experience at Repeal 33. Our server Effie was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, drinks, and about Savannah in general! She made our experience. The food was unreal. We each did different apps and different entrees and all I can say is that we were all blown away with our dishes. Highly recommend If you are looking for a fancy but not stuffy.
Repeal 33 exceeded our expectations in every way!
We had a great night. Our server Sydney was super. Covid safety precautions were exceptional, all recommended protocols were followed right down to our temperatures being taken at the door. All of the staff and all of the customers seemed to be on the same page. I would not hesitate to return. It relieved a lot of the anxiety for our first time venturing out since this Covid mess started.
The food was hot, fast and the flavors were everything you could have asked for and more.
This was our first inside dining occasion since the virus became pandemic. We were a little nervous at the outset, but the concern was gone in a matter of minutes when the Repeal 33 folks took over. Every member of the staff was very engaging and most helpful. Covid-19 protocols were seamlessly observed. Best of all, the food and drinks were great!
Nice vibe but music was a bit loud, Nice presentations of food, but still a bit pricey. Gazpacho for example was quite unique and for $12 a little steep, Traditional Gazpacho fans may find it bizarre as I did. Would not order again esp at $12.
Across the board, the food was bland at best. We ordered a variety of food and it just lacked flavor including the chef’s special.
Overall a great place, our waitress (Bills) was great although she doesn’t normal tend tables she is a bartender she was still attentive and kind. The only reason I’m giving a 4 star is because the one lady who brought us additional sharing plates was apparently in a bad mood slammed our sharing plates down and walked away shaking her head as if we bothered her for them. Other than that wings were fantastic, oysters were worth going back for Scallop dish was tasty, not filling so load up on appetizers if your hungry.
Lastly bring a sweater the place is freezing but after a drink or two you won’t notice!
Had a great dinner. Service and food were excellent. Our server provided great suggestions.
Food was amazing, the restaurant was beautiful and the service outstanding. The cheeseburger with bacon jam was the best I’ve ever had and the chocolate peanut butter torte... delicious!
Repeal was wonderful! Service was excellent, food was incredible, and we all enjoyed the cocktail menu. This is a definite recommend if you’re downtown Savannah! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From start to finish our server and the staff R33(a)lly made our visit delicious and enjoyable. I realize that things are different during this pandemic, but the food, drinks and service helped us forget it for a little while. The Wahoo special was presented well, and tasted every bit as good as it looked. The same with the shrimp and grits plate. To portions were enough to be filling, but not enormous. Plentiful would be the word. And our server (Shane, I think. I’m terrible with names Sorry!) was available but didn’t hover and had great service timing.
