   In early August, it was a very quiet restaurant, and very pleasant. Between two diners, the experience was fairly different - a fish entree was somewhat anemic for the price, while a chicken entree was so much food, the port I had for dessert seemed to barely fit. We tried multiple cocktails and they were hit-or-miss, but overpriced across the board. Overall, if I were staying at the resort again, I would certainly enjoy dinner at Renata's again, but if I were a resident of Phoenix, I would not make a special trip there.

   Over priced for the food. Shrimp was fishy, Caesar was very good and the sliced brisket, while great flavor was cold.

   There were flies in the restaurant and we had to be constantly shooing them away. One landed in our salsa. ☹️

   Excellent Latin American food and ambience!Totally recommend their For the Table share Smoked Wagyu Brisket and their buttery Chilean Seabass prepared to perfection. Kids loved it and we enjoyed everything we ordered! Willl be our go to staple traveling to Phoenix!

   I didn’t dine during this reservation myself; I made it for my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary while they were staying at the hotel celebrating. I noted in the reservation that I would be paying for everything and the restaurant was incredibly helpful coordinating everything with me. My parents were raving about what a wonderful time they had, from the service to the quality of the food. Everyone helped make my parents’ anniversary weekend a very special and relaxing time.

   The service was slower than usual, and the place was very noisy. We appreciated the Spanish guitar, but the volume was way too high. The seabass was dry. Perhaps they were having an off night since we eat here a fair bit, and the experience is usually much better.

   We were looking forward to this reservation, as it came highly recommended from a friend. However, upon arrival it became clear we would not be having the experience we anticipated. The music is incredibly loud, with the singers voice drowning out my friends. We had to speak at an abnormal level to be able to hear each other. We kindly asked the server if the musician could alter his volume level, and he did for a time. However, shortly after, he proceeded to sing happy birthday extremely loud next to us three times. We don’t know for sure whether it was intentional, but it did seem that way after kindly asking for the volume to decrease. Next, our food wasn’t the best, from undercooked chicken to unbalanced entrees, we did not enjoy much other than the salad and our cocktails. This was an added disappointment, as we waited over 40 minutes for our food with no explanation for the delay. Overall, we won’t return, and hope the team makes the necessary changes to improve future patrons’ dining experiences.
