The wanted to sit my guest and I outside because they had a big party inside. On Sundays they don’t have a live DJ and they resorted to playing music from a phone. There was two different types of music playing at the same time. Extremely an annoying time.

I came here for Saturday brunch. The food and service was outstanding. We had unlimited rum they kept our pitchers full. My only issue was that it wasn't as live as I thought it would be. There was a DJ there, but the music was low. I saw their Instagram page where ppl were dancing in their seats n the music was louder. I liked the vibe, don't get me wrong but I was expecting a more "turnt up" spot.

DJ was good but if there was no DJ then this place wasn’t very good. It took us 30 mins to get our drinks (every round) and our food portions was comparable to a child’s meal— it wasn’t very good either. There are definitely better places in Harlem for brunch.

Went here for Sunday brunch. We started with the grilled octopus which was cooked to perfection, phenomenal. I had the spaghetti out of scampi which was absolutely delicious. My friend had the lobster ravioli which was filled with lots of lobster and taste delicious. We will definitely be reoccurring patrons.

Our waiter kept forgetting about drinks orders that we'd placed. And was a bit on the slower side. But he was really, really sweet. We'd asked for two of the brunch dishes to have poached eggs but they got to the table with scrambled eggs.

Unfortunately when I arrived there was no greeter to seat us. I had to ask the bartender if someone would seat us at 3pm. We had to ask for a menu and then they didn’t take our order until 3:30. There is more issues but I’ll leave it there. I tried to be understanding but the service was just too poor. Sorry

IT WAS HORRIBLE. First off we had a reservation and waited maybe about 20/30 minutes for menus. By the time we got the menu we already know what we wanted we placed our orders and requested virgin piña colada drinks we were given a free style drink and when we inquired on what it was we were told they don’t even make piña coladas so I’m not sure why that was said that those drinks could be provided to us. Food took over an hour to come to outer table and when it actually got to the table it was not even warm but we did not send it back because we did not know how long we would take to get it back. Service really lacked. We asked to see a manager and he never came to the table. The check you would think that would of been brought with urgency but no my entire table including myself went to the bar to wait on the check. HORRIBLE will never return other guest around us were just as frustrated some even got up to go ask for menus, another table even told guests that came in to don’t eat here because they were still waiting to place their order. It’s sad because you really want to support these black owned businesses but not like this.

Good service was slow due to it being there opening to do the brunch and not enough staff to serve the customers but when the meal came it was worth the wait and the Manager that was controlling this at that time was an excellent host.

The service here is slow (which highlights the theme of the experience); to the point that you miss out on the bottomless mimosa experience (big turn off). To get a drink order to your table is 30 mins + at peak times. To get your order taken, same long wait. Food to table time was long as well. The mac and cheese they subbed with shrimp and tasted terrible-like the seafood was old. We noticed those who got the chicken and rice barely touched their chicken which led us to get the steak and eggs. The entree was decent but steak portion was small. I've had other bottomless experiences in Harlem and this one ill skip the repeat visit.

Overall the food was excellent, service was nice and the atmosphere was old school Harlem. Worst thing about the place is getting there as Harlem still has a way to go as far as cleaning up. BUt that shouldn't stop you from enjoying this meal. There is a TV over the bar which sort of kind a feels out of place. Its a sexy restaurant. not a bar.

My parents were visiting Harlem and celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. The staff was friendly and really took care of them. My parents said they had a wonderful experience and would like to return. Thank you, Renaissance Harlem Team!

Very delicious seafood! I do wish the prices weren't so expensive (although seafood always is). the service was very nice, the waitress was very patient and recommended some of our fav dishes of the night. Thank you for making my mother's birthday special!

The service was non existent. We needed to ask to have our order taken, were never checked on and to finally get the bill. My guest asked for coffee that never came. We asked for juice for the baby 3 times and It took 15-20 mins. I won’t be back.

The overall experience was lovely. The drinks were great, and the service was good. However, the server/manager did a lot of hovering. He visited the table almost every seven minutes. It became very annoying because he kept interrupting our conversation, asking how everything was. I’d been there before and noticed this behavior, but I thought it was because I was with someone who knew the staff, but even then, we thought I was a bit overboard. The food was just okay. Our ravioli was undercooked, so we had to return it, and my mashed potatoes were straight from a box. SMH. I said nothing but took note. I’d still go back but would need to set boundaries for the server about the frequency of his visits. Lol

Food and drinks were amazing, but the service definitely needs improvement. We had a reservation and no one asked us about it. There was a loud and lively bridal wedding party inside and we kinda felt like the forgotten stepchildren in the outdoor dining space lol. For the reason, we kept getting the wrong food to our table and it was kind of sad and depressing in that dark corner. Also, the seating outside was very uncomfortable, as I got a charley horse from sitting so low in that hard a$$ chair lol. Prices are $$$, so the service and atmosphere need to match the impeccable food. Also portions could be more for that high price point. Decent spot.

I liked this place. The food was very good, the sangria was great. We sat outside, as there was a private party happening, but the patio was fine and quiet. Good place for a first date and to conversate.

Had a prix fixe menu with no prior communication for Mother’s Day at $50 per person. No air conditioning in the outside area, late entrees and drinks and the food honestly wasn’t that great at all. Wish I had a different experience for the mothers in our party but I won’t be going back.

I came here with my mom for mother's day and we both enjoyed our food it was delicious. I would go here to check out their dinner menu. The only down side is that their brunch menu was very limited.

Food is always wonderfully seasoned and prepared. Never overly salty just pure deliciousness. I highly recommend this restaurant because everything is tasty. I wouldn’t order too many cocktails because that gets pricey.

Went to restaurant based on ratings. Found food not so great and not as advertised. Had to wait longer while they correct it. Had to remind staff of items ordered and the cheque. Food on the maga (meager) side. Experience was not that great. Please note understand that some are still short staffed etc. but felt that staff was focusing on having convo with each other then actually paying attention. To patrons. Jolloff rice was good! Even had bun bun ❤️
