I've eaten at Remington's multiple times. I was here recently & everything tasted as expected, except the Key Lime Pie. I've always recommended Remington's as a great place to dine and have emphasized how wonderfully tasty the tart Key Lime filling and buttery crust are. I don't go out as often as I once did and made a point of talking up the pie with my visiting guests. I ordered a slice of the pie. It's different than expected. Much sweeter, more pudding-like filling, and a too crumbly crust. I'm so bummed to say it wasn't what I had come to expect. But the ambience is great and the waitstaff is wonderful.

We ate outside, even though it was a bit chilly that day. We did not get an explanation for the 3% processing charge that was added to the cost of food, tax, and tip. It was on the bill, which we did not actually get to examine until after we paid.

Very pleasant, calm atmosphere. It’s a great respite from the hustle and bustle of Michigan Avenue. The food is always good and the service is great. I highly recommend Remington’s.

This experience was perfection. It was for our ten-year anniversary and they made us feel special from start to finish (complimentary champagne, etc). Eddy-our server- was fantastic: professional, good sense of humor, just great! My husbands prime rib was perfectly seasoned/cooked. I ordered the rib eye medium, but when it came out it was rare-med-rare, so I sent it back. When it came back out it was overdone and dry. Everyone, from eddy to BOH manager and FOH manager was super apologetic and fixed it immediately. I did not have to wait long at all and the end result was a gorgeously medium, juicy, and flavorful ribeye. We insisted they did not need to comp it, but they did, as well as brought us dessert complimentary. Without anything being comped, it would have been an excellent experience. But bc the staff were so genuinely apologetic and eager to give us the perfect date, it made it that much better. I judge restaurants not only on how great everything is but how management and service handles adversity/imperfection. I would HIGHLY recommend Remingtons and when we are next in Chicago we will definitely be back!

Top rate service and food. Eddie made us feel welcome and well-cared for while celebrating our anniversary. The mini sliders and steak salad were excellent, as was the Purple Rain cocktail.

First of all, it's not even 2 blocks from my office, which made it a no-brainer. Second, the food was amazing (I had the beef burger sliders). But in my opinion, the service outshone everything else. Everyone was so welcoming and so courteous -- and smiles everywhere. That combination doesn't happen much any more. And somehow they knew my birthday had been the week before, and brought out ice cream with whipped cream and a candle at the end of our meal. Talk about special! I've already booked another lunch date here.

Food was great we had the ribeye and prime rib. They were delicious but the main dish was the crab toast!! Our waiter was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He was a great part of an excellent staff.

Our 5:30 dinner reservations allowed plenty of time to enjoy cocktails and sandwiches and walk the few blocks to the Theater District for a 7:30 show. The server was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Raves all 'round for the turkey burger, fish sandwich, and the All American burger, and for the delicious Manhattan and Old Fashions. Finally, even though the restaurant was humming, the noise level was low which made for easy conversation. This is our new favorite!

Remington’s has been a favorite of mine fie many years. I dine with clients & friends. I have been back a few times for dinner since the pandemic. Today I had a client lunch. The service, as always was fantastic. Pleasant & efficient staff. They oysters were amazing! I ordered the ahi tuna salad, assuming it was going to be an entree size salad with lots of greens & a few ounces of tuna. The tuna portion was fine. However, the salad was the portion of a side or appetizer salad. I’ll be back because of the staff & overall quality is good. The “salad” was disappointing.

Delicious food and excellent ambiance. We had the filet sliders and tuna starters plus pork chop and crab cake entree. Tasty. The mashed potatoes might be too garlicky for people who don’t love garlic. Would absolutely recommend.

We went to Remington’s for dinner before a concert across Michigan Ave. in Millenium Park and were extremely pleased. Our waitress, Ximena, was knowledgeable, efficient and personable. The parmesan crust atop the spinach and artichoke dip was a nice and tasty touch. My wife claims that the crab cakes were among the best she has ever had, and my grilled salmon was excellent. The restaurant has attractive decor and a very pleasant ambience. It’s a real gem.

Always enjoy going to Remington's a nice around the bar setting and then a quieter area in the back. The menu offers sandwiches, entrees and dinner salads and don't forgot dessert.

Outstanding service and the food was amazing. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and tasted perfect and the oysters, crab cakes and prime rib were all amazing as well. Service was above and beyond our expectations! Next time I’m in Chicago, we will come back ☺️
