   The overall experience for all members of a party-of-5, was superb! The cuisine was excellent; our service could not have been better; and the noise level was the best of any restaurant we have attended (a dinner club that dines out weekly).

   The food was outstanding as usual. We did notice that portions were definitely smaller than in the past. We had a group of very happy ladies on the table right next to us that were pretty loud, but that's the first time we encounter something like that at Reid's

   We ate dinner here while on a few days of vacation in the area. Food was creative and high-end. Service was great. Would definitely go again.

   Absolutely delicious! My husband and I remarked the meal was one of the very best we've had in a long time. Every item was beautifully presented and was so flavorful. We wish we lived in the area as we would be frequent diners. Elizabeth was lovely, very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is inviting and we could not understand why it wasn't full. Loved our experience and only wish we had known about Reid's on our previous trips to the area. We are fans!

   Tonight Reid Cafe in Banner Elk. Grilled Octopus, Steak frites. Was pricey. Food was ok. Steak Frites was not the French style. Will I go back? Perhaps for lunch

    Service was excellent. We were there on a week day evening - off season so the atmosphere was excellent. Food was very good! … as always. A little pricey but that is the way it goes these days.

    Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Drink menu had so many inventive choices. We tried three different drinks and all were wonderfully balanced. Menu is seasonal and you could tell they were working around what was available for the winter. Went in January and it was offseason so restaurant was quiet but during May through Oct I'd recommend a reservation.

    I’m not gonna lie reggae music playing in the background. A+ Every part of the meal was unique and delicious. The oysters were the juiciest I’ve had in a long time, and I really liked my cocktail paired with my meal. The owners wife was the server and she was nice and she could be. We will be going back when in the banner elk area

    We’ve had lunch at Reid’s several times but this was our first dinner and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was great- the cocktails, the service, and every dish. We have nothing but good things to say about our dinner experience.

    Always a favorite. Wonderful food with daily specials. Ethically sourced meats and sustainable produce. Limited wine menu but you can bring your own and pay a corking fee which is tantamount to restaurant wine pricing so fair. Well informed, professional and friendly staff. As a former food professional, I love the exposed clean and highly organized kitchen.

    We went to Reid's for the first time on NYE and had a wonderful meal and experience! Our server took great care of us and recommended great entrees. We had the bolognese special (fresh pasta!) and the brussels sprouts to start. The pot de creme was the perfect small dessert to end the meal. Highly recommend if you are in the Banner Elk area!

    Everything was perfect. It starts with the warm greeting at the door by the kind and attentive host. Matty gave us great service. The food was delicious. The pickled cherrries were maybe one of the best things I’ve ever enjoyed. A perfect way to celebrate the holidays with my family. Could not have been a more perfect meal. Thank you so much.

    Service was inconsistent. Not very attentive. Slow. The room is large and has no warmth, a lot of hard surfaces. It feels very industrial. The prices are way too high. That’s Reids reputation in the community. The meals were well prepared with very clever mixture of flavors but the presentation was ordinary and nothing special. Altogether, I’m not likely to recommend Reid’s or go there very often. The management has been aware of the issues I mentioned for a long time and haven’t ever addressed them. It’s a shame.
