Lovely place for Sunday brunch, although the noise level is a little high. The thing that keeps you coming back are the warm ginger beignets - to die for!!! Pleasant wait staff and nice surroundings. Your choice of outdoor dining or indoor.
The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. The food was delicious and moderately priced. Staff was very friendly. We’ll definitely go back.
We had a very nice dinner on the patio, which we requested. Couldn't see the lake, which was disappointing. The food was great, but the service was a little slow.
Very good food. Quality, Fresh ingredients! The menu is seasonal as well so it changes from time to time.
We had the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer. The only strike in the entire meal was that the ranch dressing used as a dip came from a bottle. With all the effort they go to on all the other food, make the ranch from scratch!
Cilantro Lime Skirt steak was awesome. Cooked perfectly and great taste. The grilled tomatoes that came with the steak were very delicious.
My wife had the goat cheese flatbread as her dinner. It was very good as well.
Terrific and imaginative brunch. A real gem.
We have esten dinner there twice and brunch once. The food is great, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is very enjoyable!
Everything was amazing! The food was delicious, the whole location is beautiful and the porch swings were amazing! We had the best time at Regions 117!
Had dinner there to celebrate my birthday. Was very pleased with the food and the staff was great. Definitely worth the trip and we "will" be back!
Went here for our anniversary. This place is a gem. We sat outside on a beautiful day and enjoyed the lake view. The food was amazing - great flavors. Good local wine selection and friendly service.
Excellent service. Beautiful view of the lake. Food was well prepared.. My friend required gluten-free and they had choices on the menu.
This was my first visit but look forward to returningl
Service was excellent!! Food was amazing!
Excellent service, atmosphere & outstanding food!!!
Dining at Regions 117 is always almost completely enjoyable. The food is excellent, fresh and in the right quantity. The service is excellent - the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The only reason we don't go more often is that the indoor noise level is off the charts. It is almost impossible to engage in conversation without seriously raising your voice. Recommend off hours when it is not so crowded.
Fig and goat cheese flatbread was amazing. Husband had the fried green tomatoes which were also fantastic. Beautiful view and great setting.
Needed a place to while away a few hours while a friend was visiting a family member. There aren’t too many places in this neck of the woods that fit the bill of where to sit, read, and drink wine and gave a nice meal. Region’s 117 was a delightful surprise! It is located on the Trilogy active retirement property but open to the public. There’s a lovely deck overlooking the lake, part of which is covered by an awning, and the rest is open to the sun. The inside decor was modern with high lodge-like ceilings, a beautiful open fireplace. And separate bar (for sports fans) and a dining area for others. Service was friendly and flexible. I did not get a chance to eat but the food I observed as servers passed looked very good. They strive to purchase as much as possible within 117 miles... local is great! This is a lovely restaurant with solid friendly service. I would definitely return if I were in the area.
Food was delicious! This place is really neat. Set back in the development it gives you a resort like feel. We had a great time.
Amazing place. The flank steak is AWESOME!!! View is amazing. Service is great. View is great! Only thing it could use is ambiance music outside.
On a beautiful afternoon, enjoyed a nice-paced lunch on the lakefront. Wait staff was great and the manager and general manager stopped by the table to ask how we were doing. Fantastic burger and well worth the drive up from Front Royal.
Food was excellent service was great. We will definitely go back.
Delicious appetizers; entrees good, but my wife disliked the sweet sauce on her filet; chocolate ice cream with S'mores made my sweet tooth very happy. Very pleasant country lodge style dining room. Friendly and attentive waiter. Only complaint: only 2-percent milk was available for after-dinner coffee -- what restaurant runs out of cream?
Our 1st time, celebrating our anniversary, had a great meal, even though my shrimp had the wrong sauce the waitress gave me a free dessert. Totally satisfied, looking forward to going back and trying more great food!👍
Waiter was very personable, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Food was top notch.
Had great dinner. Stacy was a great server. Loved the crab cakes andt the ribs andt peach cobbler. Thank you all.
Awesome food and atmosphere! Will return soon!!!!!!
Love this place!!!
Great friendly service and wonderful food. Really enjoyed the Millionaire Burger with big hand cut fries.
Great food and service. It is a bit pricey for the quality.
I took my husband for Fathers Day and we absolutely loved it !!! We will definitely be back and sit on the veranda
Our second visit - first was a wonderful family brunch and this was a quiet special occasion. Both times, we loved the menu and service. Would have mixed the heavy sauce on NY step steak if we’d known it was going to be served on the main course plate. Overall, wonderful dinner and evening walk to the waterside after dinner. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Fantastic all around. by the way you have a FANTASTIC waitress her name is Robin we asked for her this time because she is so efficient & customer service is her top priority. We were there to celebrate MOTHER'S DAY EVE & this time it was FATHER'S DAY EVE. Keep up the good work and we will see you all again. by the way, the young lady that took my reservations followed my request to a tee, greatly appreciated also. Please thank them BOTH!!!!!! I work for Blue Ridge Hospice and will surely pass the word. Our new CEO just moved here s from PA and is looking forward to visiting you some time soon.
Love this place and the food is great! The service is always good and the ambiance is great.
I love the ambience at this restaurant! Atmosphere is excellent, food is delicious. I'm glad our daughter chose a quality restaurant in which to develop her cooking skills. It makes supporting her industry very easy. We came to support our daughter, Molly Gordon, because she chose to work on her birthday, and this was the best way to be with her on her special day. We'll be eating at Regions again soon!
Great location but the food was just meh. I
I’ll give it one more try.
Had a quiet dinner with my husband as an early Father’s Day treat. We enjoyed the heirloom tomatoes which were a bright start to our dinner. I had the steak salad which had perfectly prepared meat, fresh greens and wonderful balsamic dressing. My husband had the chicken Caesar salad which was also very well prepared. For dessert I had house made strawberry ice cream that was wonderfully fruit filled and oh so creamy! My husband had Boston Cream Cake which he completely enjoyed. He said it had the perfect chocolate! The service, as always, was friendly and spot on. We love coming to Regions 117 to make any day extra special!
A good find in Frederick County...ambiance alone merits a visit. Then they deliver the food....very good.
Wonderful experience!! Returning next weekend.
Great service, hope you have the crab cake eggs Benedict upon our return.
We came here last year for our 19th anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. My wife chose to come back for our 20th. I made reservations via Open Table. Open Table has a field on the reservation form for you to mention any special requests. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our 20th anniversary.
We got to the restaurant and checked in with the hostess. We were shown to our table and we were given menus. The server filled our water glasses. The water was not cold. :(
We looked over the menu, which had changed since last year. We made our selections. We also ordered an appetizer.
My entree was the Shrimp Scampi. I didn't see much shrimp on the plate. They included a few just so they could say there was shrimp with the entree. I don't recall what my wife ordered, but both of us were really disappointed this time around. We did look over a dessert menu, but we decided to go elsewhere for dessert.
I really wanted to lower my rating to 2-stars, but we liked the server, so I gave it 3-stars.
Also, there was no acknowledgment of it being our anniversary. I don't know what I really expected the restaurant to do, but I was hoping that a nice restaurant in a gated community would have upped things up a notch. We won't be back for our 21st.
Crab cakes were great, as was the cobbler. Lovely setting, great service. There even was a rainbow as we left
