   The booking was cancelled by the pub the day after the initial booking. No idea why? But it was a shame we didn’t get to try the pubs Sunday roast lunch/dinner. I scored all categories as ‘Fair’ because there was no way to provide an accurate opinion. We did however have a drink in the pub the day before and that was very nice and relaxed. The pub itself is quirky but laid out very nicely. Bar staff were very nice. We’ll try again to get a meal (Sunday roast) the next time we visit Brighton.

   Excellent Sunday lunch. Big portion. Boiling hot ( hate lukewarm food ! ) lovely food and great service. Thank you!

   We went for Sunday Lunch, good choice of food. Staff very friendly and a great atmosphere.

   Absolutely outstanding Sunday afternoon celebrating a friend's birthday. We couldn't have been looked after more attentively. The food was delicious and plentiful, the drinks....well they kept on coming, the decorations magical and the staff incredible! Shout out to Joe who plied us with shots!! Thanks to everyone who works there - you are all amazing! We will be back SOON! x

   Such a friendly atmosphere - the staff are delightful. Portions are generous and just right for a Sunday lunch. Will definitely go again!

   I ordered the pork with crackling but it was just a soggy mess, little meat and very fatty. Crackling not crisp at all. Disappointed because I've always had great roasts here. When I booked there was lots of tables left but we arrived to find we were perched precariously on the tiny stage because there was only 3 of us I suppose. We couldn't move for fear of the chairs toppling off. It was packed and we waited an hour for our food which, had it been worth the wait we would not have minded so much. A real shame . I did point this out but only got an apology. Won't be returning in a hurry sadly

    We arrived on the day for our table reservation only to be told the chef had taken a day off. I was asked to confirm the table the day before. Nobody contacted me to bother telling me. So no roast dinner for six people. Luckily we were recommended the lion and lobster which were very helpful found us a table and the food was amazing
