We were seated out on the back patio open to a beautiful and serene grotto, complete with fountains and ferns. It was a delightful setting for a group of eight of us.
always a good meal here. friendly service. a family owned/run restaurant making delicious food.
Good service but the food quality was lacking.
They forgot to take our order but after that it was a great experience. We will definitely be back! Great food and owners were delightful! And the wine was excellent
Excellent, friendly service and wonderful fresh tasting food with twists on old favorites.
Delicious food in a comfortable setting with outstanding service, exactly what we were after. Thank you.
This is one of the Mission’s Little Jewels. It’s great Mexican food using fresh organic ingredients and delicious spices. I recommend the potato taquitos, dark mole, and enchiladas verdes. The staff is sweet and you never feel rushed. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area that is covered, green, and has heat lamps. Definitely a good place to host a birthday party for 8-14 friends.
Neighborhood gem! We’ll be back.
Love it here. Really nice friendly service, good food and drinks at a decent price. Love the sangria and the pork tacos, and the chips and guacamole are must!
I'm a repeat visitor to this restaurant, and they have never disappointed!
A bustling, casual, slightly crowded Mexican restaurant with very friendly people and great food. We arrived before our reservation time and the hostess was very accommodating and seated us right away. We had margaritas, guacamole enchiladas verdes, and cochinita pibil (braised pork), and bread pudding for dessert. It was all fantastic, maybe particularly the pork and the bread pudding. Highest recommendation.
as eduardo (chef, general manager) says, their food is made with love! delicious, authentic food in a fun setting, served by a great staff. a family-owned, family-run restaurant that means to please.
Wonderful experience, ambiance and the food was fantastic!
Good food, good recs, good wine
Food was delicious and ambiance was suave.
Margaritas were on point!
Delicious meals all around for our party of 6 celebrating a birthday. Exceptional guacamole and chicharrones for appetizers. The pollo regalito was absolutely lucious, half chicken cooked perfectly on the rotisserie, with a tangy sauce...finger lickin' good. Everyone raved about their meals...enchiladas verde, carne asada, and carnitas. This place is an original and definitely a neighborhood gem. So good all around...food, service, ambiance. And the flan topped off the meal perfectly.
I found the food here absolutely delicious, authentic and fresh!! highly recommended!
I met my parents there and we were happy to find a table on Open Table at the last minute. Really Great food - good price ...super attentive waitstaff and I highly recommend the house margaritas
I came for a birthday dinner and we were seated in the back patio which was very cute, but heads up - it was a communal table. We had a group of 9 people and although the food was good, service was VERY slow and not that friendly. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or what. They were accommodating for the birthday cake my friends brought to surprise me which was nice.
Authentic Mexican fare with friendly staff. I've being going to Regalito for several years and it's consistently good. I always thought I disliked Mexican food based on what's served up in most "Mexican" restaurants in California. I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit to Regalito because the food wasn't what I expected. It's basically home style Mexican food. The portions are generous and the quality good. There's a covered patio with a communal table at the back of the restaurant (with heaters) which is used for groups of about 12 people, or individual diners.
Nice little restaurant. Patio in back for larger groups. Fairly conventional Mexican menu done right. Great tortillas. Had Enchiladas Verde and roast pork. Both excellent. Cactus salad refreshing. Fun neighborhood.
On Saturday evening the restaurant was almost empty. Only a few people were dining in the commun table in the patio. My roasted chicken was very dry. The mix of kale and potatoes was tasteless and dry. I went to Regalito longtime ago and I had a better memory of their cuisine. I won't go there again.
nice family owned spot. very nice, friendly staff, good food.
Great food at a very reasonable price. Good beer and the service was fantastic!
My friend and I went to catch up. The meal was great - really enjoyed the guacamole, the chicken mole, and horchata.
Regalito is an quiet cool little upscale Mexican place with the freshest ingredients, most attentive service and with truly delicious offerings. Very highly recommended.
This was my fourth time in the last four months to go to Regalitos Rosticeria. For me, it's not your typical Mexican fare. I feel the food is upscale Mexican and deliciously tasty. The appetizer Papas and chorizos are so delectable. The guacamole is wonderful and served with their in house chips. The chicken mole is very good. The hand made tortias are delicious and you can't just eat one. The Agave Margaritas are to die for. The first time to Regalitos, I had the Chicken Mole. I wasn't disappointed. The next visit, I had the chicken enchiladas. Excellent. My last visit this pass weekend, I tried the vegetarian enchiladas. I was pleasantly surprised with its flavors. It was a treat. The service is attentive and the price range is moderate. Love everything about Regalitos Rosticeria. It is a little gift of Mexican goodness. Oh, I must not forget, the churros for dessert are wonderful and a must try.
The food is wonderful at this restaurant, and so are the people. It's a pleasure to dine there.
Hand made tortillas. Authentic. Chicharrones con Escabeche - wonderful; Chile rellenos and cochinita pibil were excellent. You got to have the churro for dessert - homemade! Service was very attentive. We'll be back.
Very good authentic Mexican food, not an easy thing to find! A family run operation, which is good. Just off Mission St. at 18th.
