It was a lovely birthday celebration, service was impeccable. Our drinks were never empty. The food was good & for the price, we got a really awesome deal. They served a birthday cake at the end which was a really nice surprise. Would return again
Service was outstanding, very prompt service and a great experience. The mussels were just amazing, just the ideal with the right amount of seasoning and the broth was delicious, really added to the dish. Had the tomahawk steak, looked and tasted a touch over done, closer to medium than medium rare, and the vegetables accompanying looked oven dried if anything else. Overall, very good, but clear that the tomahawk isn't ordered that often.
The food was fine but the service was not so good as they maybe short-staffed. Also, the next table was very loud watching the football game. I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and always had a good time but unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time.
Food was good and maintain in a good standard. Service was friendly and helpful.
Went for my fathers birthday , the staff were just great with wishing him a happy birthday and making sure we had all we needed to make it a memorable day !
Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere!
Plenty of food but quality of the meat were not high.
We booked a reservation and our table wasn’t ready until 25 minutes after that. It was very busy, but the hostess actively avoided the lobby to check-in guests, which kicked-off the evening in poor taste. The guests around us were not pleased either.
This said - once we were seated everything was awesome. Our waitress was great, food was delicious, we were also well tended to in terms of beverages and plate removal. The bbq chef was pleasant and grilled the meat perfectly.
BBQ summer buffet was a treat. The Heart of Gold cocktail was like an apple pie in a glass. Yummy.
Though the evening was a bit rocky, it certainly was made up with everything else. Would recommend.
Exceptional evening, super food and excellent service
We reviewed the menu before we made the reservation. Upon arrival we found out that only Sunday brunch is available on Sinday. We ended up staying for the brunch anyway. For clarity , the website should state for Sunday only the brunch is served.
Excellent place for lunch! ... excellent Fish & Chips and service is grate! ... good value for your money!
Great Summer roof top barbecue. Enjoyable and great value. Our host Cecilia and server, Terence, were great!
We had the tomahawk steak for four people. Overall it was delicious and prepared to our desired temp, however, the chefs left the fat cap on the cut of meat which was u fortunate as it was quite a large fat cap.
The overall experience was excellent from being greeted by the hostess, to being seated and the service provided by the servers. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great.
Waited 15mins to be seated. The hostess wasnt even at the entrance to seat us. For 40$ food was very poor. Best was smoked salmon that they didnt even have to prepare. They also thought we already paid so we waited again.
Have fined in the lounge before and the service is the same: PAINFULLY SLOW. There were only 2 customers at the bar and 2 in the dining room. Yet we had to flag our server down because he and the bartender seemed oblivious to the fact that we wanted to order even though we had been sitting with no drinks and or menus closed for 10 mins after being seated. Food took 45 mins; we were told it’s because the dining room was busy. Again, only 2 customers in there who had ordered prior to us arriving. The food was brutal; chowder came cold, not even warm but cold; Caesar salad came last for some reason and the chicken wasn’t good. For the lack of customers in the lounge and dining room the service should have been exceptional. It was nowhere near that and well below my standards.
This is a very good restaurant! ... food is better than what you usually expects from a Hotel Restaurant.
If in the area, I strongly recommend!
We've patronized the Hilton for a few years for New Years Day Brunch and Mother's Day and even Xmas Eve Dinner. The food is always very good, and the service is good. When the occasion is held in the Grand Ballroom, like Mother's Day was, this past Sunday(May 12th/19), it was very crowded. They bungled our seating for 4 and gave the table away we had reserved for 4 people(we showed up on time, as usual). We had to wait for 5 minutes for them to clean a table. Not a huge inconvenience, but, still not quite 5 star. Service was very good, considering the amount of people and the food was very good. Good assortment and great assortment of deserts. Probably keep patronizing the Hilton, as it's close to home.
Need more signs to direct where the buffet is located
We went on Mother's day brunch buffet, so naturally, the place was packed. The food was good, but the dungness crabs were very very salty, though the freshness is fine. Oysters were very fresh as well, but I guess they were very busy so the shell bits and pieces weren't cleaned properly. Otherwise, the meal was really good.
The service was the weakest trait for this visit. When the server first asked what we wanted for drinks, the juice was brought shortly thereafter. But he coffee was forgotten. Eventually we had to flag down a different server and asked for a juice. It took 10 minutes for the juice to arrive. At the end of the Brunch, a coffee was asked for again. We watched in the mirror as the server went away. We then saw him come back to the dinning area 5 minutes later carrying the coffee carafe. He stopped at two other tables to offer them coffee, but he didn't come to our table. He then gave the other tables their bill. Then he started walking towards our table to give us our bill. Suddenly he stopped as he remembered that I had asked for coffee. He went back to the bar where he left the coffee and finally I had my coffee.
Valentine’s Day dinner for 2 was wonderful. We both left with full stomachs. Our server was very friendly and attentive to us. Perhaps due to today’s snowy conditions, there were only a few occupied tables so the room was moderately quiet, which was nice so my wife and I could have conversations at normal volume.
We went for a valentine’s day dinner. The food was excellent - great taste and presentation. The service was friendly and helpful.
This restaurant serves excellent Fish and Chips!
Good for Lunch!
Service was also very good!
We went early on NYE. Server always very attentive and very friendly. Not very busy at 5 on NYE so ambience not great (not the Restaurant's fault). Overall a good experience and would go back
Amazing Christmas brunch! So much variety that kept coming out fresh and non-stop. Service attention once seated was top-notch, but checking in was a bit scattered. Would consider making this an annual holiday tradition.
Christmas Day brunch. Food quality worse than last year. No strawberry at fondue station. Carving station beef average quality. Waited long time for waiter when first seated. Had to ask for drink refill each time. Waiter always preoccupied with something.
Another year at the Seasonal holiday
It's overrated! The food is just ordinary. You're better off going to Cactus Club for that price.
Went for the Festive Buffet on a Sunday. The food was excellent for a buffet and the presentation outstanding.
Colleagues and I went for the Xmas lunch buffet. The food was tasty, especially the buttermilk mashed potatoes. Service was adequate. But it's not a place to visit regularly with the cost being $37 per adult. Much better buffets around the lower mainland around the $20 mark with better selections. As a one-off, it was fine.
It was really good food & spectacular service...
Their in-house ground chicken burger was hands down THE juiciest & tastiest chicken burger I’ver ever had. The mixed green salad that accompanied my entrée was fresh and nicely sized...not dinky and garnish-sized like most hotel restaurants serve. Lastly, our friendly server, Steve, was extremely attentive and took good care of us. With his stellar service, he elevated our dining experience here and is a definite asset to Reflect Social Lounge! 😃👍🏼
Dear Westcoaster, Thank you for taking the time to review our lounge. I will ensure that I pass on your compliments to Steve and the Kitchen team! Thank you for dining with us in the Reflect Lounge! We celebrated my daughter's birthday with the Harvest Buffet. The service by Leslie and Cecilia was outstanding and memorable! Their cheerful and calming presence was a joy. They were attentive, kind and super accommodating. Food wise, we really enjoyed our main courses which consisted of the mushroom ravioli (a special request for my vegetarian husband) and the New York striploin for me. The buffet consisted of bread rolls with butter, two soups (seafood chowder and roasted red pepper tomato bisque), baked potato with all the fixings, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, sautéed mushrooms and onions, a creamy herbed vegetarian pasta, Caesar salad, roasted cauliflower with chimichurri, green salad, potato salad, greek salad, bocconcini salad, tiramisu, some passionfruit/lychee tasting mousse, vanilla bean cupcake, a chocolate dessert, cucumber and mint infused water, and strawberry and orange infused water. My daughter and I could not stop eating the creamy seafood chowder which was chockful of salmon and clams - so delicious. My husband had 3 servings of the vegetarian pasta and kept saying, "sooo good". He still managed to finish his main entrée too which was incredibly delicious. For dessert, we liked the passionfruit/lychee tasting mousse the best. I would go back just for the seafood chowder and the passionfruit mousse. YUM
Dear Ilovegoodfood, Thank you for writing us an review! I am so very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your Harvest Buffet Experience! I will ensure your wonderful comments will get passed along to Cecilia, Leslie, and the kitchen team! We look forward in serving you in the near future Warmest Regards, Elizabeth Penner Director Of Outlets
The Sunday Brunch had an excellent selection of well prepared foods, including breakfast, dim sum, salads, lunch entrees, pastries and fruits with good coffee and bonus mimosas. Staff were pleasant, but not particularly attentive and coffee refills needed to be requested each time. The music was pop-rock, which wasn't very conducive to a relaxed brunch. An astonishing amount of leftover food was carted off at the end, suggesting that far too much was prepared for the number of diners present and I hope that this food was not wasted and provided to those in need, but I suspect not.
Overall worth the value, service is very good and staffs are very friendly.
The service was great. Overall the foods quality for the Sunday brunch were good. But the roast beef was tough. The hot foods in the steamer were dry. If use the smaller steamers and refilled more frequently to keep the foods hot, moist, look nicer and less waste instead of a large container keep the foods for three hours long from beginning to the end. Very noise usually have had big group parties there. Separate the group parties and small table into the difference room will be much better. Looking forward any improvement in the areas. I will give try next time.
They have a 3-course dinner for $35. Food was really good. Top notch service. I will definitely go back.
Food was very good ! Will be going back again .
