Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen & Bar
The restaurant’s daily blackboard specials and core recipes feature creative takes on fresh-caught fish not typically found on many inland-Florida seafood restaurant menus, including tile fish, trigger fish, sheepshead, hogfish and other local species. The Reel Fish menu includes signature classics like fried seafood platters, shrimp & creamy cheese grits, whole fried market fish, such as yellow tail snapper, and Low Country Boils featuring shrimp, PEI mussels, scallops and snow crab legs.
Central to the restaurant is a raw bar serving oysters on the half shell, broiled, steamed and Rockefeller, as well as ceviche and peel & eat wild-caught Florida shrimp.
Broiled Seafood Platter
Atlantic cod, Florida shrimp, scallops, garlic lemon butter, parsley potatoes, smothered tomatoes & okra
Garlic butter, panko 1/2 dozen or dozen
Amazing seafood and get service! Love the vibes in there also. And don’t be afraid to try the swordfish, it’s actually fantastic!!!
We were celebrating 3 birthdays and couldn’t have had a better experience. Our server, Luis, was amazing. The food was great!!! I will definitely be back the next time I am in the Orlando area.
Great good and great service, I will definitely be back!
Great service and food. Staff were so friendly and helpful.Food was fantastic. We will definitely go back.
Made reservations. So not a long wait. Really good service. Food was really good quality. Went for Magical Dining so the pricing was really good. Restaurant was a little too loud. Could hear lots of conversations over our own conversation. Otherwise everything was great.
Overall very satisfied.. swordfish was delicious. Our server Louis was great! Highly recommend.
Loved the atmosphere, service and most of the food. My only complaint was the Grouper, it was not well prepared and in fact overcooked. It was tough and bland. Other than that everything else very good
We ate outside after a heavy rain and it was very nice. The food was presented well and in a timely manner. Service was spot on and the food was delicious. All five of us are ready to return and are excited to have a new seafood restaurant to go to.
We arrived about ten minutes before our reservation time of 7pm. Parking was sparse. There was a small lot behind the restaurant with no available spaces. Luckily just as I was turning around to look for street parking, someone pulled out. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. They had a tin roof so that explained the noise. They told us they were running a bit behind due to the weather. We got to our table at around 7:15. Instead of bread they served us what amounted to some garlic flavored croutons. Meh.
We ordered off the Magical Dining menu. My wife started with the firecracker shrimp, then the swordfish, ending with the key lime pie for dessert. I had the mussels as my appetizer and the low country boil followed by the coconut cake for dessert. Every course was delicious. The mussels were a bit small but the broth was outstanding. My wife’s shrimp was just as good. Her swordfish was perfect as was my country boil. Seven or so crab legs, 6 sizable shrimp, some mussels that were larger than the app mussels, scallops, red potatoes, corn on he cob and sausage. She said the key lime pie was the best she ever had. My coconut cake was creme with coconut topping on what looked like coconut flavored pound cake. I couldn’t finish it.
We will definitely go back. Next time however I’ll bring a pair of small scissors to help with the crab legs. I’ll also try to get an earlier reservation time which I hope will give me a better chance at getting a parking space.
Very much enjoyed the ambience- the decorating style is so neat! The food was delicious but felt the shrimp and crab legs were cooked a little too long in the Low Country Boil. Appetizers and dessert were very tasty! I would certainly return ❤️
Food was delicious and served quickly. We had the swordfish and seafood boil entrees.
Always amazing, fresh seafood here!
1. Food not cooked as ordered
2. Server short changed me on my change from paying the bill (don't think can add, earlier she said $2.50 per oyster is market price so I asked how much would 1/2 dz be and she said around $9) 🥴
3. Manager did stop to check on table...very nice!
4. Bartender behind bar making drinks then taking a straw dipping it into drink pulling it out and sampling drink! 🤢
Orlando Magical Dining

Definitely a nice place. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening there. Good food, good service , nice ambiance
Mussels appetizer was a bit undercooked but the sauce was excellent. The low country boil & key lime pie were spot on
Very well done - as always!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere & service. Swordfish was excellent. My husband enjoyed his crab cakes….some of the best ever. E will definitely be back here! Love it!
Service is excellent!! Food is served hot and timely! Best fish and southern sides in town. Happy Hour is fabulous!! Could be a little more quiet though.
Happy Hour brings happy noise!! Hard to hear if you are eating dinner! But I still give it a 5! 😊
Great food in a unique matter! Service was amazing I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great place. Nice atomosphere and the food and service are great!
Great kitchen and service. We had the low country boil, amazing meal.
This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always well prepared and presented. Our server last night was very attentive, knowledgeable and had a sweet disposition.
Excellent as always. This place has the freshest and best prepared seafood and fish in town. The deals for happy hour can't be beat! The crispy shrimp, decadent and delicious! The fish camp fried fish is very very lightly coated with great flavor and served crunchy, the coleslaw delicious, clean strips perfect! Here it is as good as fish and chips in Ireland! Great service! Red sangria not too miss if you like a little sweet and spicy! We have dined several times and each time is better than the last! Really nice inside decor. The bar area is a bit dark and adds to the ambiance. This is a neighborhood gem that's worth the drive if you don't live close. Always busy, so make a reservation! It's a sure bet for a delicious fish or seafood meal.
I visited for the first time as part of the Magical Dining program after reading very positive reviews in the Central Florida social site. The regular menu is extensive and seems to be priced moderately for what you are getting. The food was great- especially the "Real Key Lime Pie". It was the best Key Lime Pie we have ever had and i have eaten the famous Key Lime pie down in the keys. It was fairly noisy, although I was seated in the bar area and it was busy. The service was great- Holly was our server.
First we came in and sat at the bar and had a cocktail and appetizer while we waited for our table. The bartender was amazing. Once we sat at our table we ordered a bottle of wine to enjoy with our mussels. We got the wine right away but our mussels didn’t show up till an hour later. I believe because we went for the magical dining menu, we were no longer a priority. We were just forgotten about. Don’t come here for magical dining. You will be treated poorly. Sorry.
Our server, Cheyenne, was very good. The place was extremely noisy and hard to have a conversation.
Great food and great service. We had the low country boil, it was excellent. One person in our party did not care for the steak and they quickly replaced it with another dish. Great customer service!
Food was great. Service was good. Loved the firecracker shrimp and the desserts!!
It's been a while since we ate here and it was wonderful to return. The Magical Dining menu is a great excuse to try something new. The swordfish was a new favorite for me. My wife got her usual Low Country Boil. The food was as wonderful, as always. And the service was friendly and efficient. We like the quiet early evening vibe, but things start to pick-up around 6:00 on the weekend. whether it's a quiet dinner for the two of us, or a get-together with friends, this place never disappoints.
Reel Fish has always been a favorite of mine. The Magical dining menu was fantastic and Luis our waiter was even better.
Great food and great service! This is a great place to visit if you love seafood.
Very noisy. Spoke to owner and he said that next time call and they will find a quieter area. Food good but as they were crowded and maybe not enough help some of the entrees were not hot.
We have eaten at the restaurant before and liked it, but this time was not up to what we had previously experienced.
Hi burtr, thank you for dining with us. I'm very sorry that our service and food temperature were not what you expected and deserve. I will make sure our chef and service team read your review so we can improve for the future. If you message me your email then I will send you a gift card for next time. (and find a quieter table as well.) We appreciate you! Fred
Second time there, second excellent meal. Nothing we haven't liked yet.
Our favorite Orlando seafood restaurant. Never disappointed, and often impressed. Great happy hour food and drink deals too!
Wow! Food was awesome, service (LUIS) friendly and helpful. This is the place for oysters. Best in the city. The Magic meals are great value. FRED, the owner, stopped by to check on us. He was helping the staff take away and deliver plates. Super friendly. Our first visit, but well definitely be back!
Our dinner was great. The food was plentiful and delicious. Service was over the top. We will be back for more food at regular prices.
I wish I could give this restaurant more stars! We’d never heard about it and decided to check it out because of Magical Dining. The food, ambience, service and overall experience were absolutely wonderful. Even the owner stopped by our table to check on us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We will definitely be coming back and recommending!
Hello RL2018 -- thank you for dining with us and for taking the time to share your positive comments about your experience. We are so happy you enjoyed and will certainly pass your compliments on to Jill and the rest of the crew. Please come back soon!
Everything was AMAZING....I don't say that lightly! The cocktails (sangria, moscow mule and OBP beer) started our evening right. Followed by Firecracker shrimp - oh so good!! The Pompano Beach Swordfish sent me over the top - my tastebuds were so happy - combined with the collard greens - if you are not a fan of CG - these just might convert you. We were so full afterwards that we took our chocolate brownie dessert home to enjoy later. FANTASTIC evening....will be back!
Fabulous service and delicious food!
