The Reel Fish menu includes signature classics like fried seafood platters, shrimp & creamy cheese grits, whole fried market fish, such as yellow tail snapper, and Low Country Boils featuring shrimp, PEI mussels, scallops and snow crab legs.
Central to the restaurant is a raw bar serving oysters on the half shell, broiled, steamed and Rockefeller, as well as ceviche and peel & eat wild-caught Florida shrimp.
Fried Green Tomatoes
Crumbled goat cheese, roasted pepper vinaigrette
Citrus juices, chili peppers, cilantro, avocado, tomato, house-made wontons
The food was great and pricing not to bad. Roni our server did a fantastic job.
During Magical dining it was expected to be a high volume of customers. Staff didn't seem prepared. It took 25 min of being walked by before I had to ask where is the dessert. Then I was told it was being warmed. Waiting another 10 min and it was just OK. My food was flavorful but I wasn't full.
We ate outside, We like quiet and we only had the traffic and a few outdoor guests. We could hear each other. Food as always was great. We did magical dining. Only criticism was that there was not a non fish appetizer for a none fish eating husband. A house salad would have been fine,
Food was ok, I was more impressed with the dessert. We went for Magical Dining and looking over the bill we knew something was wrong. As we were driving home and doing the math we were definitely over charged.
We enjoyed our Magical Dining Experience. Great food and the quantity was perfect. We took our desserts home to enjoy later. We like this promotion as it lets you try a smaller portion at a reduced rate. We will return.
Every thing was very good, had the Magical Dining dinner.
Little crowded and had to ask for a side table but everything else was great....
Food was great the boil is alot of food! Great happy hour menu
Magical dining menu on the website is inaccurate. The mussels should have came with bread as pictured and stated on the website. Waiter said it doesn’t even though I showed him where it clearly said it does. Waited 2 hrs for the bread pudding to finally come.....cold, dry and missing the ice cream as stated on the website. Waiter once again said “no it doesn’t” and walked away. Service was inexcusably slow. Took 24 mins to just be acknowledged and order drinks. Even then, took forever for refills.
I understand that this restaurant has excellent food, but not the night we were there. Food was over cooked but the dessert was very good. The server tried his best but we ended up being there for over 2.5 hours.
We used The Magical Dining promotion and made a reservation for 5 pm. the food was excellent but it took way to long to get our food. we left shortly after 7 pm. We were in no rush but it just took a little to long to get our food while other tables were getting theirs a bit quicker than we did. Overall the atmosphere is good the food was excellent and the service was good. I would go back but I will make sure that I have enough time just in case I have to wait for two hours to get my meal.
Met some friends there and we sat and talked for hours, not realizing how much time had passed. Our server was great and still was so kind to us, even when they may have needed the table for other customers. It was such a sweet gesture and showed the best customer service, plus the food was amazing too, which was an added plus! I'll be back!
The service there was exceptional my server was excellent. He made the experience even better. I would go back I especially for him. The food was great and timely.
We took advantage of Magical Dining. What can I say the food was devious. We ordered the mussels and crab cakes from the list. Mussels were very fresh. Great flavors! The crab cakes were crabs no fillers. Cooked to perfection. That pineapple salsa went well with the crab cakes. In addition, we ordered the grilled octopus and the Oysters on the half shell. Oysters were so fresh. tasted like the ocean. That grilled octopus was so tender and fresh. Really enjoyed that One of us had the Pecan-crusted Rainbow Trout. She absolutely loved the flavors. The potatoes were a great choice but she wasn't crazy about the green beans. The Cioppino was outstanding. All the seafood in it was cooked to perfection. No fishy taste. My only disappointment was that they ran out of the carrot cake we had ordered so we had the coconut cake which wasn't the best. Great Service. Followed the rules set for the distancing and masks. Will definitely go back!
Great food, service was a little slow, but not terrible. Would definitely go again!
Everything we had was fantastic! The oysters, fried green tomatoes, cheese grits, and warm carrot cake were the highlights. I enjoyed the blackboard special of Golden Tilefish blackened and it was delicious and cooked perfectly! My boyfriend had the Cioppino and raved about it! Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was great.
Great food, service, ambience, and quiet. Our new go to restaurant in Orlando, especially, during Magical dining. Bethel is fantastic!!!!
The food was outstanding over all and we will certainly be back! Happy that we discovered through Magical Dining a great restaurant close to home and surprised
we didn't know about it sooner!
Best seafood in the area. Food is fresh and made with care, service friendly and attentive, and ambiance is modern and casual. Loved it!
Always a great meal at Reel Fish. Seaside Margaritas are the best. Had the low country boil and cioppino- fresh and flavorful.
Food was wonderful, but service was not great - server was pleasant, but very slow and disjointed. One appetizer came and took another 15mins for the other two to come
Very positive experience. Food and service were excellent. Noise level was very high possibly because of a large group seated near us. Looking foward to returning.
Fresh Fish high quality will go again
First time there. Very nice server. Ceviche appetizer was great, desserts as well and the 3 entrees ordered by the table were all winners: Pan fried trout, low country boil, cipino.
Ir was my friend and I's first time at Reel Fish and Magical Dining was excellent. Our server, Donnie, was perfection and they did SO GOOD with COVID precautions. We shared oysters on happy hour and then I had the mussels, cioppino, and bread pudding. She had (not pictured) ceviche, low country boil, and key lime pie. Excellent! So much food and so dang full!
Amazing food and equally great service. Love the southern influence.
Went for Orlando magical dining. Absolutely loved it!
Everything was great! Jasmine is a wonderful waitress
Had a very good meal here for Magical Dining. The crab cake was good but needed more flavor. Adding salt helped, but there was also not enough pineapple salsa or sauce for the amount of crab cake and the greens were just a decoration. Could have used something extra there. The trout was excellent! I also enjoyed the potatoes (although they were just slightly under cooked) and the green beans were extremely flavorful. Service was spotty and we had to wait for drinks throughout the night. Thank goodness we had water while waiting. Overall, it was a great introduction to this restaurant and we were glad they had the Magical Dining Menu.
Food under seasoned. Not worth the price. Ceviche lacked flavor, wonton crisp soaked with oil, seafood not great quality. Very disappointed Service slow.
This was one of the best southern fish camp coastal kitchen restaurants (and that's a mouth full) we have been to. Totally Florida style, but other fabulous items from other places on menu. We've only found one other that we love and we're hoping to find another in the area. Had to drive a bit, but very much worth it. We saw it in the "Visit Orlando Magical Dining Month 2020" and went to try. We ended up not doing the fixed menu, because we just had to try the oysters and the fish dip (?). I know why they put that (?) there. It's the best trout spread I've ever tried. The oysters were so fresh and COLD! Wish we had of saved room for dessert - Big and Beautiful! The best part of our experience was our server Ronnie! What a great person. So professional yet a great happy friendly personality. You have to ask for Ronnie. Also, the minute we stepped in we were greeted with smiles and happy people. Chef knows what he's doing! Great food and Great people - especially Ronnie. John and Cheryl says hi!
Good food and good service
We went here for Magical Dining and everything was great from the food to the server. We will be back. I highly recommend it.
Bartender and server were awesome. We loved the food, and felt the value was great—especially for the quality and quantity! We will definitely go back.
Excellent all around! Our party of 4 each thoroughly enjoyed the Magical Dining 3-course menu. The options provided were among the best on the menu, with amazing fresh, perfectly prepared seafood as the highlight.
Service was warm and friendly, and a small timing hiccup was proactively addressed by management. It was not something we would even have mentioned, but we were impressed by their own high standards.
We would gladly return here during a non-promotional time—still a good value for a great dining experience!
First time and was happy with the experience.
Service was great from both the bar and our waiter. The manager is wonderful also as she accommodated seating us and made sure we enjoyed our experience. Great place and Wednesdays is when to go for Happy Hour. Oyster shooters are yummy.
Wow!! We had a great time with great foods and rinks. Really enjoyed!
The baked American Red Snapper was excellent. Ceviche should of had other items besides fish, had better. the magical was well worth the price. Oysters were half price during happy hour
Has a lot of potential, but the food was just not that good!!
Thank you for dining with us. Our intention is to meet or exceed your expectations. We're disappointed in our selves that we didn't. Our goal over the past almost four years has been to build a great casual seafood restaurant, imbued with classic southern flavors and closely tied to the bounty of our local Atlantic and Gulf coasts. I hope you will consider giving us another try. Thank you, again!
