Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen & Bar
The restaurant’s daily blackboard specials and core recipes feature creative takes on fresh-caught fish not typically found on many inland-Florida seafood restaurant menus, including tile fish, trigger fish, sheepshead, hogfish and other local species. The Reel Fish menu includes signature classics like fried seafood platters, shrimp & creamy cheese grits, whole fried market fish, such as yellow tail snapper, and Low Country Boils featuring shrimp, PEI mussels, scallops and snow crab legs.
Central to the restaurant is a raw bar serving oysters on the half shell, broiled, steamed and Rockefeller, as well as ceviche and peel & eat wild-caught Florida shrimp.

The food was good waited a long time for oysters and steam shrimp as appetizers were and about 5 minutes after they brought appetizers they brought our main course so it sat they getting cold while we at the oysters and shrimp.
Really cute resturant, wonderful staff and service. Best Bloody Mary in orlando! #fightme lol
We are always looking for a new place to go. We found this one, and really loved it. We are already talking about going back and who we will take with us the next time. Fried okra was divine, I think I could make a meal out of just the various side items on the menu, but everything was great. Our server (Roni) was personable and really helped us to enjoy our visit.
The shrimp Poboy was pathetic. It was bread, shrimp thrown on top, to very large tomatoes slices, amd lettuce. Just very blah and not very eye pleasing.
I got the Baja tacos. They were tasty and I did enjoy. The rice had a lot of cilantro.
Over all I will be going back to winter park fish company. There poboy is miles better. I believe their food is way better also.
Food was absolutely horrible...had the low country boil with the “special seasoning” they claim to boil in and it was seriously disgusting. I’ve done many boils and have friends in Louisiana/Georgia who make it often and trust me when I tell you that it tasted like they boiled it in dishwater with a bit of salt. Won’t be going back until the place gets a clue about how to cook seafood.
First dinner visit review. We did have to wait quite a while after making our OpenTable reservation. However, once seated we were greeted promptly by Kennedy who was very pleasant and patient with us as new diners. We loved their Shrimp and Corn Chowder. The complimentary seasoned oyster crackers were great. It did take a long time for entrees to arrive. We noticed tables around us were getting entrees at staggered times. Ours came within two minutes of each other. Problem in the kitchen that night but the food itself was tasty. Mine was exceptional which was the pecan crusted rainbow trout. I highly recommend it. Hubby had the broiled seafood platter. Initially it was bland and then he asked for drawn butter and added salt. It was better after these additions. We were visiting the area so we won't be back anytime soon but this is definitely a place were the locals dine. We saw delicious looking food leaving the kitchen so I think they are worth trying out despite the entree delays.
Best Happy Hour in town! Try the $1 a piece oysters, $6 clam strips or $8 peel-and-eat shrimp--all winners!!
Awesome restaurant. The service, food, and location are amazing. We love this place!
Reel Fish is our go to restaurant for great seafood meals. The preparation is a different way to eat seafood. Great selection of oysters on the half shell. Happy hours are great.
Fresh, delicious, healthy, great service
We invited friends to our favorite seafood restaurant! They did not disappoint! A+++ for food, drinks, service and ambience! The music playlist was amazing! Love the outdoor dining!!!
Saturday brunch with family party of six. Sat outside, not too noisy, fish dip and calamari appetizers were great. Bogo drink specials were an unexpected surprise. All meals were very taste and good portions. Outstanding key lime pie.
Food quality was bad. Presentation was bad. Onto goos thing was the wine.
Reel Fish is real good! The food, drinks, and service are top class! We enjoy the establishment and the at home feeling. ❤️
3rd trip to Reel Fish, fantastic fresh food everytime! Second time with our waiter Ronnie, very knowledgeable of menu and attentive service. Would highly recommend
Everything was great. Including our server. However, it seemed like the kitchen wasn’t on top of things the night we went but everything was solved to our satisfaction and we will be back for sure.
Gorgeous decor. Great ambience. Excellent, friendly service. Some of the best seafood and sides I've ever eaten, anywhere. In particular, the smoked trout fish spread is unbelievable. I've eaten a lot of smoked fish spread in a lot of places. This is by far the best I've ever eaten. Will be going back soon.
Visiting the Orlando area and heard someone talking about this restaurant. Figured we would try it out. We were so happy we did. The food was great and the service was excellent. Would definitely go back next time I am visiting the Orlando area.
We had Roni as our server, and he did an outstanding job! The patio is pet friendly which is a huge plus!
The food never disappoints and truly touches your soul! I absolutely love Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen!
Highly recommend this establishment. The menu presents a variety of specialty items, not found in the usual seafood restaurant.
Absolutely love this place. The service and food are amazing. I love supporting this local business.
enjoyed happy hour drinks and oysters before we ordered our dinner and wine (good selection). oysters are great quality!
Love the food here!
Always excellent quality in their dishes and drinks. A very good alternative for happy hour
Amazing food!!
Throughout the years Reel Fish continued to deliver exceptional food and great service
Keep supporting them
Good food, but understaffed. We went two weeks in a row and service was slow both times.
I highly recommend dining here and ask for Ronnie. He was friendly and attentive.
Great food! Great service! They are the best seafood restaurant in Orlando! Always have great specials, and as good as the meal is, you need to get dessert!
The food was just OK. I’d never recommend their fish tacos which were lacking much taste. One of our group had crab cakes and said they were delicious. He was particularly keen on the remoulade sauce.
Service was efficient and friendly.
This is one of our favorite restaurants and most of the time the food is outstanding. The
Hi EdwardB, we are grateful for your continued support. Please let us make sure all goes perfectly on your next visit. Please ask for me when you arrive so that I can attend to things properly. Warm regards! Fred
Excellent dishes and unsurpassed food as always. The attention of the waiter Luis was very good. I highly recommend
Many thanks, EnriqueL. We appreciate your positive words very much. Hope to see you again soon.
First we had to wait over 15 minutes before I asked another waiter for help. Our waiter was frazzled because the restaurant was packed. Food was not hot. Not sure I will revisit. Too many other choices in the area.
Thank you for dining with us. We value your comments and are very concerned we failed to meet your expectations. We are making adjustments is response to the recent surge in business volume. Hopefully you will consider giving us another try in the near future. Please ask for Fred (me) so that I can attend to your visit properly. Stay safe and well!
Great food and drinks. Will be back again!
Very friendly customer service and tasty food
The quality of the food and service at this restaurant is very good. Nice ambience, too.
There was zero tequila in our happy hour margaritas. We were kept waiting almost an hour for our food. My salad came drenched in dressing after I ordered the dressing on the side. Our server virtually ignored us because he had too many tables. Way too much red pepper flakes in my husbands pasta made it so spicy. We didn’t dare send anything back because we waited forever for our food. I ordered soup to come with my salad and didn’t get it. To top it off we waited forever for our server to bring the check. All in all a waste of money for my birthday and my first dinner out for a year. Very disappointed.
This place is a tale of two different stories. First, the seafood is excellent. I had the crab cakes for an appetizer there were the best I have eat in years since legal seafood pulled out of Florida. My son had the grill salmon that was excellent also. For myself I had the classic combo of shrimp, oysters and scallops also excellent. My wife had the chicken tacos, she did not like . But the worst was the manager was touching up the chairs will paint next to our table. Plus when I got home I had paint on the sit of my paints. This restaurant can be the number one seafood restaurant in winter park Florida. The chef does know how to cook fish just look after the small items also. Would I return YES.
Our server Ronnie was great! Despite being very busy he maintained professionalism & delivered quality service. The patio table for 2 is extremely small and it made it difficult for us to fit our food on the table without putting condiments on the ground. The table being inches from the street parking reserved for their to-go definitely felt more to be desired from an ambiance perspective. Overall, the fish was very fresh & I look forward to returning.
We had a great dinner. The appetizer and entree were wonderful.
