Horrible service. Upon arrival, reservations confirmed and our table was ready, however, for over 10 humiliating minutes, my teens, 5 year old and myself were forced to stand at the hostess counter. The female hostess claimed to “prepare a table for us” but that wasn’t the case. We witnessed the female greeter (didn’t catch her name she was caucasian, super skinny, wore a white shirt and heavy eye make up) walk around the restaurant several times, fooled around at the bar, and walk outside. Eventually we were seated when a random guest stood behind us in line. While eating my 5 year old accidentally spilled ICE COLD water all over him. I put in a request for a cloth for the spill, the lady who brought our food to us didn’t return promptly, there was a long delay. When I put in another request for a cloth, our server provided a cloth in an urgent manner. When I lifted up the food mat numerous bubbles appeared (we didn’t receive a replacement mat). The food was decent, we received lots of bad racial vibes, wouldn’t recommend this place.
The foid was very good. The waiter seemed way too busy and wiuld only show up when he absolutely had to. My husband’s fork fell off and we had to asked another staff member for a replacement. The place was noisier than expected there was a crying child near us so that did not help.
Food, and service were very good. ambiance was casual but very nice
I love that place ,it's nice, cozy, laid back and they always have great music playing. The staff is very friendly and the little blond lady she's a little busy body,I think she's the owner or manager. I highly recommend this place .
The food was excellent and the portions were amazing. The staff was excellent from the host to the servers as well as the owners. We will definitely return.
Poor service. Had reservations but was sat right behind the bar next to the bathrooms where every person walked by other then my server. Food was good once we got it, but awful service and seating.
Overall it was a great date night spot. Good seafood and good selection for magical dining. Definitely will be back
Everyone was very nice there. The food was a bit overpriced but I definitely appreciate the freshness of the food; it just personally lacked flavor for me. I had the Cioppino and the sauce seemed to lack the depth of flavor given the different types of seafood it had in it. The appetizer of fried okra was hot and fresh but I did not complete it and I LOVE OKRA. I think it would be better served sliced as to allow the crust to be on more pieces The corn chowder used fresh cream but that is all I could taste. There was no seafood taste in any of the dishes except the crab cakes. I like those as well but they didn’t stay together, they were crumbly but they were good. Our waitress was excellent. All in all; it was a solid date night experience and I would try them again.
Went for Magical Dining and the seafood boil was excellent. Had crab cake appetizer and carrot cake for dessert!! Service was excellent and will definitely be coming back in the future.
It was really nice. Blane was a great server.
Really excellent! The best Magical Dining selection we’ve ever had. Great selection of wonderful dishes. Super flavorful. Terrific value ($55 meal for $35)! Service was attentive and thoughtfully clean. Authentic southern decor. Very comfortable. Definitely will be back. BTW, our choices... Apps Ceviche and Mussels, Entrees Trout and Cioppino, Dessert Key Lime Pie at the table and Carrot Cake to go. Yummy!
Been coming here for years now. Have yet to have a bad meal. The chef’s choice has always been great right along with the freshness of the fish. Looking forward to our next visit.
The server could have backed off a little. He was just always there. My friend and I were trying to converse and eat. After every bite he was there.
Our waiter was the worse server ever. I requested a candle or anything for my wife’s #45 Birthday a special dinner. Nope he told us he was working sense 10 am after I ask him of the candle. Even to write happy birthday on her dessert will be a nice note. We got nothing. At one point we ask the manager / owner for plates For our appetizers. She was very nice by the way. Our waiter should read this note and understand that customers are the reason these days restaurants doors are open. I was at the bar earlier and it was super the bartender was excellent and at best.
While I did enjoy my overall experience here I am slightly disappointed with the seasoning of the dishes we ordered. The Low Country Boil was extremely salty and several of the mussels had not opened. The fried calamari and the fried clam strip could have used some seasoning as both were fairly flavourless. The whole fish red snapper which we had deep fried was wonderful and it weighted in at a whopping 2lbs... I will probably order it roasted if I come back. The oysters from Rhode Island were a real treat. Our server was fantastic and spot on.
Oysters and mussels were great!! Cioppino game was weak... extremely salty, sent it back to have them cook another one- never once did a manager stop by the table to see how everything was. Entrees came out before appetizers were taken off the table. Would I come back to dine again? Yea I’ll sit at the bar and order oysters and drinks. Not worth spending over a hundred per person for mediocre service and salty cioppino.
Great food. Great service. Will definitely be back again.
Magical dining options were a let down. The crab legs and shrimp didn't seem that fresh. I would try it again as the service and ambiance were great!
This was our second time dining there, first time was great second time not so good. We did Magical Dining menu each time, first time server was great and he really made the experience great. Second visit the lady server was not nice and refused to exchange fries for green beans and both were on the special menu. I like the restaurant overall.
Had crab cakes, pecan crusted trout & key lime cheese cake. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent . Will definitely add this restaurant to my list.
The food was amazing, but the service was horrible. Everything took long and there was not a lot of people in the restaurant this is my second time here, and I experienced that the first time I went and decided to give it another try. AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. Poor service really over shadows food.
The reel had such great seafood quality! We loved the ambiance and will definitely be back!
A few people at our table did the magical dining and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of us had the hogfish on grits special and it was fabulous. Homemade Keylime pie was delicious! Restaurant was energetic with a very fun vibe!! Will definitely go again!
Our server Simone was outstanding and the food was excellent
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is chic and trendy!!
This restaurant is very comfortable, the staff is friendly and the food was delicious. Not more to ask for when out on a date with my beautiful wife. Thanks for making me look good by taking her there.
Went during Magical Dining month. The Low Country Boil was good. The crab cakes were fair - too much breading. The mussels were tender - the broth could have been a little more flavorful.
The absolute best item was the bread pudding (not on the MD menu). Maybe the best anywhere.
Service was slow for some reason.
Tried restaurant because of magic dining, meal was very good and the lemon drop martini’s were delicious.
I wish the restaurant had more space between tables related to covid protocols. The food was good but everything very salty
Went for magical dining event and the food was subpar. Not much flavor. The Blue Crab Cakes were good. Overall I do not think it is worth their prices.
I love the atmosphere and decor. Very soothing. I want to try everything on the menu. Chefs take their time preparing. Had the Low Boil, was great, not overcooked. Crab cakes were perfect and not fishy. Was not crazy about the Carrot Cake, had to much Orange flavor, I believe Reel has the best Key Lime Pie in town. I'll stick with that!
Been there a few time and food and service was great and nice atmosphere. Will be back soon.
Fresh seafood, delicious dishes, great wine recommendation.
The food was horrible and bland. I’m used to seafood having flavor and seasoning and it was very tasteless. We ended up leaving there to go to another restaurant. The manager and server was nice and handled our complaint well but the food was not good.
It was bad experience my first timé visit the restaurant food was not taste good I order house ceviche was not fresh the fish was not fresh, sangria was water with lemon, Cioppino server over linguini, the sauce was too liquid, not able to enjoyed for the price I paid, however, the server was very nice and pleasantly
What a great place! Food was delicious and portions were generous. We will be visiting again!!
Excellent seafood....ambiance, décor, location all support a very nice dinner outing!
We enjoyed Orlando Magical dining menu on the night we visited. The Low Country boil was great. Really loved the Bread Pudding too. Servers were attentive and helpful. We’ll go there again.
The food was great and the service from everyone including the Kitchen Staff was amazing!!
Atmosphere was nice. I was not impressed with the food.
