   Two of our fellow guests didn’t receive their meal until everyone else at the table was finished eating. Kitchen needs work.

   I'd recommend Reel because it's a nice place to eat outside by the water and listen to the music there each night. There's not much special about the food. It's not bad, but you can get better in the area. This place is for the ambiance more than the food.

   We were greeted instantly at the door and seated right away. Once we were at the table the bread and water arrived in an instant. That’s were the service stopped. After about 15 minutes we were asked if we needed more water. We said yes and asked if they could have our waitress come as we had yet to place a drink and appetizer order. After another 10 minutes she arrived and stated she didn’t realize we were in her section with a dismissive, “my bad”. We place our order and then waited another 10 minutes for drinks. Our appetizer never arrived and then the food was served with the entree and appetizer together. The lobster roll was large, and tasty, but the bread was stale. The French fries were quite good but the baked clams were gummy and not at all appealing. Our table was cleared quickly and then we waited another 10 minutes for the waitress. We asked for a dessert menu and she returned quite some time later. Their dessert offerings were sparse with only 4 options, none of which appealed to us. There was a large crowd at the outside bar, but the restaurant wasn’t really busy. The service definitely didn’t match the crowd size. On a side note, there was a perpetual long line for the 2 unisex bathrooms that required constant attention from a bouncer. Overall this was a poor experience for a very rare night out.

   Food was excellent. Service not good. Waitress did not seem to have experience. Did not come to check to see if food ok. Food cold and over cooked. Not how ordered. Never came by to see if we wanted more drinks. No bread sticks brought to table although we asked 4 times

    The service was lousy. We waited 45 min to be seated even though we had a reservation and there were many empty tables. Even after we were seated, we had to ask for a server to come to the table. The hostess had an attitude. They need to turn up the a/c, it was very warm inside. The shrimp in the scampi was tasty but it had chunks of tomatoes in the rice, Ive never seen that in a scampi before. On the plus side, the drinks the female bartender made us were awesome!
