The restaurant has been redecorated since our visit last year and is clean and visually lighter now. It wasn’t an issue before, but it looks stunning. The food was amazing and as expected as per our last visits last year. Stunning flavours. A good choice of wines is available. We will definitely be visiting again when back in St. Ives.

The restaurant is lovely in terms of decor and atmosphere and the food was fantastic. However the service was poor. First of all they let me order my food and had already brought wine to the table to then advise me that they had ran out of fillet steak (bear in mind this is a steak restaurant). It took 90 mins for our mains to arrive and when they did and brought out mine and my brothers steaks, they could not remember which was medium and which medium rare. They then brought my mums steak out without the sauce she had ordered. Basics really?

Stopped in for lunch at Reef&Beef and was genuinely impressed. We opted for a few small plates to share—scallops, squid, Caesar salad, and oysters—and every dish was spot on. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance was relaxed yet upscale—great for a leisurely lunch. Would definitely return to try more of the menu!

The decor is very nice ! Food was tasty Nice choice I did wait a long time for my main dish, hake, Even the waitress commented….. One waitress was dressed very smart in a shirt and waistcoat The other had a backless top on, not really appropriate for such a nice place, and a gentleman had a colourful T shirt …… Overall it was good …..

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Service was outstanding, drinks constantly topped up, very friendly staff and incredible food. Mussels were incredible, so fresh. Duck and steak were cooked perfectly with so much flavour. The tiramisu was delicious, could have had seconds it was that good. All and all, it’s an absolutely gorgeous restaurant, one of the best in St Ives!
