Reds Square One
The food was excellent. The service was not. I would still try it again
Our waitress was not very professional. She kept touching my husband and made him feel uncomfortable.
Great food, timely, overall solid experience. Would reccomend forcany business lunch.
Calamari and ravioli
Reds is a great, overall place to either get a quick meal, or a decent dinner or even just a drink. Food was great and the service wonderful. I would recommend it. And it's nice that it's at Square One and accessible to either from the mall or from outside.
Went New Year’s Eve busy night ordered wine when it was bought over waitress gave me a glass fresh from dishwasher (hot) when I asked for a replacement she picked it up and touched the other glass and it broke into pieces. New glasses all good them my striploin came out asked for medium rare closer to rare when it arrived it was well closer to dry. Exchanged steak and got comp on a desert. Night was not as expected previous visits were good but not when it’s busy it seems
Luccia was our server. She was wonderful and engaging. She notified us about the bin end special which is an amazing deal. Essentially a bottle of wine for the cost of two glasses and they have cork service too!
I found the steak over peppered. I like pepper but it was way too much. And the steak was not great either. Kind of a B or C cut. Not great for the price. The veggies were delicious though. Al dents and fresh. The salmon was outstanding as well.
Was a great experience will definitely be back!
Overall a good experience. Attention to small details such as refilling Walter glasses was slow.
The food was okay, but the condition the restrooms was unacceptable. Not one was clean or stocked with paper. Unacceptable. Makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the restaurant kitchen.
Maitre D was not accommodating in seating selection. Insisted we sit a t table for 2 right beside kitchen !
I've been here a couple of times, on this visit they seemed short staffed (perhaps they were busier than they expected). The food was not quite as good as on prior visits and the service was off. It took forever for us to pay after we had the bill - I finally asked someone who appeared to be a manager. In future I would avoid in the month or so prior to Christmas - looked like many shoppers were dining.
Food was great but we paid a good prix three course menu for $50. Decent everyday menu Caesar, Shrimp (bland) and 7 oz sirloin (good) and seasonal veggies and mash all good. Finished with decadent chocolate cake and creme brûlée cheese cake. The wine as always here is WAY over priced.
The restaurant was 1/3 filled and originally they put my friend at a tight sitting for two right next to the service area. I made the hostess move us. They gave us bar seating which compromised our service. Sorry don’t want to compete with bartenders yapping next to my ear.
Overall will not be returning for awhile.
My only "complaint" is with the noise level...on arrival at 11.30 the atmosphere is relaxed/quiet...at height of lunch period...noise is excessive and conducive to leaving early.
I love the cauliflowers steak. Must try. Vegan or not.
Great vibe, nice place for date night. My food came out of the kitchen way before my partners and he had to wait at least 5 more minutes after it came. The food was okay, but I wasn't really that impressed this time, it seemed sort of bland even though I had ordered spicy chicken wings. The shuffleboard game was nice touch so we could play something in between waiting for our food.
While the food was decent and our server was great, the management really needs to reevaluate how they treat customers. After paying our bill, my party was waiting for a member who went to use the washroom before we were going to make our way to our evening activities. The manager sat a group at the table beside us, knowing that they would need our table to fit the entire party. Rather than waiting for us to leave, which would have taken legitimately 5 minutes or less, he decided to seat part of the large party and approach us to tell us "we need to seat this group, so you need to take your stuff and leave." Having just finished paying our bill, which was not cheap, and again, waiting for one person to return to our table, he was pushy, rude, and disrespectful. That is by no means the way to treat customers, and his disregard for me as the female customer and exclusively talking with my male partner was unbelievably inappropriate. It didn't matter if I was the person responding, he would only address my partner. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I seriously hope that they do a better job hiring people, especially for management positions.
First time here after a recommendation from a friend. The food was outstanding and so was the vibe. I realize they want to fit in as many people as possible but the tables are fairly narrow. Didn't sour my experience though. I can't wait to go here again asap!
Server was very attentive and friendly. The food I ordered was great! Just found the pieces of salmon too small though. The other dishes we ordered I.e. lobster grilled cheese and mushroom soup were delicious! We will definitely go back and recommend to others.
I’ve been to Red’s previously and took my significant other for brunch. The menu on Open table is slightly different from the current menu. So Open table needs a bit of an update. I tried the lemon cream cheese French toast. It was quite good but a little sweet. I am not a chef but I would recommend more lemon and less sugar in the dish. Other than that as you can see from my review, Reds is very good.
First time being seated at any restaurant bar and receiving service that was on par with regular seating. Loved it and will be sekectjng it again.
Food quality and ambience is exceptional at Reds Square One. A welcome respite to partake in a beverage, appetizer or meal. I understand from our server, there is an emphasis on freshness which was very much apparent in the Chicken Cobb salad I ordered.
We were heading to a show that night and with the poor driving conditions with the weather, we were very tight in having dinner and making it in time for the show to start. The hostess held our table and ensured that when we arrived the staff took our order quickly. The food came out quickly and was fresh, hot and delicious. Their attention to our needs actually allowed us to enjoy and relax, even if we had only around 45 minutes. We made it to our show! Thanks so much!
Service was excellent. Management attempted to accommodate getting a “dinner” menu item at lunch
It was great
Server was not good and not attentive.
Kind of ruined the experience unfortunately
Food overall is okay but I think over priced. Needed salt and the truffle fries were room temp - not hot! I asked for lemon and the server finally brought them; I asked for salt and I never did get that. However, ambience is great.
It was ok... food was ok and service was lacking
Good was okay but not great. Background music way too loud, making it difficult to carry a conversation.
A nice enough time and terrific, attentive and friendly staff made up for the meh quality of food.
The Caesar salad was limp and runny. The truffle fries fried to a crisp; though replaced immediately upon request.
The drinks were tasty, especially the Sangria!
Nice enough and certainly better than the usual mall food court!
I went for brunch with girlfriends and the portions were pretty big, which was a pleasant surprise. Ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict and loved it.
Food was excellent- service was very slow but servers were polite.
The burgers were great! We enjoyed the salads. Food was excellente!
Great food, one of my favourite restaurants and always satisfied with whatever I order. Especially desserts!
It was great. They allowed us to taste the wine before ordering a whole bottle.
Just a very nice experience all the way round....food, friendly service, nice atmosphere, not too loud. You won’t go wrong here.
Hendrix killed it promote that guy.
