Redrock Canyon Grill - Overland Park
Very nice Service was great. Food was very good.
The food is great, though a bit pricey, and the service is very good, although I twice asked my waiter for some crackers and he never brought them. This last Saturday night was slightly disappointing as we had made reservations but were seated in the chilly closed-in patio area. It was very cold initially and we considered going to another restaurant altogether, but after we complained they turned up the heat and it was fine then. Otherwise this is one of the best restaurants in the area, in our view.
Great experience and fantastic food. Always a pleasure to visit Redrock and always look forward to our next visit!
Great place to relax and eat. Good food. Good Service and nice warm environment.
It was amazing a little dark where we sat couldn't take a pic but other than that it was excellent.. The food and service was perfect! Def would recommend this place!
First visit and plenty of reasons to return! Great food, great service, meal selection was deep, and prices were fair for what you get.
My steak melted in my mouth.....cooked perfectly. Wonderful meal.
Our waiter, Eric, was so attentive. The food was delicious. It’s cozy and warm with an inviting atmosphere.
We do our best to support local KC restaurants but Redrock has become a regular stop for us. Many chains do a “good” job providing food for the masses but Redrock takes it to a much higher level at a reasonable price point. You likely will not find anything to challenge your adventurous side but they offer a creative spin on classics that truly stand out. I frequently dine at their Oklahoma locations as well and its amazing how consistent they are between locations while maintaining the notion of everything being made in house. Give them a try.
This was the first time eating at Redrock Canyon Grill and were very impressed with the service and food. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Fernando was our server and he was the bomb. Always showed up at the perfect time to provide us service. We were never waiting for anything. He also was very educated on the menu offerings. His work ethic and customer service made our Valentine’s Day date wonderful.
We were running 10minutes late, and out reservation was canceled. Not sure if this was because of Valentines Day or not . We decided to stay and another table was found a few minutes later . The bar service while we waited was friendly and our dinner server great too. I had the fish special, my partner the meatloaf. Both were delicious.
Cozy and friendly.
I ordered the quiche. It was wonderful! It came with a nice bowl of fresh fruit and johnny cakes. I would go back to order the same thing again. (My husband ordered the meatloaf and was not happy with it but I wanted to review my order).
Great food and service!
Phenomenal dinner. Chicken and ribs were spectacular. Mashed potatoes and carrots were amazing. Service was wonderful too. Will definitely return.
Consistently consistent! Another excellent meal!
This has quickly become my go-to restaurant. The booths are large and comfortable. The decor and lighting are relaxing and calming. The service is top notch without being overbearing and the food and drinks are always good. Great food and great service are hard to find but not at this place!
I eat here several times a month. Redrock always maintains consistency in service and quality food. Service is friendly and excellent and meets my expectations for business lunches and dinners with my family.
We really like Redrock! Only complaint was the noise level - but that may be unavoidable on a Friday night...
Gabe our waiter was Wonderful!! We visited your restaurant the first time on Friday Feb 1,2019. We will return and ask for Gabe as our server!! Monique the hostess is wonderful also!!
AWESOME food!! And setvice
We’ve eaten at Red Rock multiple times and have always had good service until tonight. Our guest ordered coffee prior to ordering food— must have been at least 20 minutes before the waiter brought it.
Just the smell of three different woods burning will tell your stomach it's in the right place! This restaurant has a very warm and inviting appeal. The menu has a variety of choices, and the server did a nice job of identifying highlights and options for sides. I'm certain you cannot go wrong with any dish containing chicken. I had the chicken enchiladas, and have had other chicken preparations on previous visits. The quality is great and keeps me coming back.
Sara our server was great! She made thoughtful recommendations and took great care of our group. We ordered soup (chicken tortilla) and salad, then a Ruben with mushrooms. Everything was delicious and we received our food relatively fast.
We were celebrating my moms birthday and we all have never had it before and it was wonderful! The Rotisserie chicken was delicious :)
Great fun, food and ambiance....Our waiter was Meghan and she was terrific.
Everything was great! The food - the service- and I feel like the price was reasonable too
I can cut and paste our review on Redrock Canyon Grille. We eat there at least a couple times a month. That's a sign of a good restaurant. Food, service (thank you Jason) and ambiance too boot. Can't imagine anyone coming out with anything but a good review unless you're a walk in and then it's going to be the wait. Popularity has it's by products like noise unless your on the outside dining area. Open Table reservations seems to move you to the front and highly advisable.
This is one of the best restaurants in the KC area... If you are missing Houston's since they packed up and left KC... here is your replacement. (Hint: Both restaurants are owned by the same company and the Hawaiian rib-eye, which is my all time favorite is exactly the same!) I will be back many, many times!
Ate there at lunch. Soup salad and chicken were very good. Dinner was very disappointing. I had the salmon which was very dry and salty. My Husband had the pan fried fish that was so oily he couldn't eat very much of it.
The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was marginal.
Throughout the evening, servers kept bringing us food and drinks we had not ordered. Also, a girl kept trying to remove plates before we were finished. Her focus was continually on her one task---clearing tables---rather than on the customers' experience.
We agreed that the food was great, but the service was chaotic and uncoordinated.
Always a perfect meal and perfect service. Tried the salmon tonight for the first time and my mind was blown.
The floor manager was very rude. We had a party of 6 with reservations. The reservations were not on file. We waited at the bar. When it was time to be seated the young man at the reception desk was very rude so we left.
We love the menu here and they have great salads. We were eating later than usual this time but the service was great and the food was hot and wonderful!
My pork chop was out of this world and my crowd loved the chicken wings. The wait staff was very attentive. It was a great bday celebration.
We got sat right by kitchen which made it a little uncomfortable. We got greeted by a blonde girl server then after she left a guy came by and took over and told us that she wasn't our server anymore which we thought was kinda weird and rude to say. We thought he was a little weird and off and didnt feel comfortable at all. Didnt get his name but he had reddish facial hair and skinny. Our food was just ok, so probably wouldn't go back cuz didnt impress us at all.
Everyone was very friendly from the hostess to our server. The food was very good and large portions for the price. Would recommend it to family and friends and will be back myself.
The food is always consistently good and the service has always been good as well.
As usual, our experience was good. Had hoped for one of the corner tables which is more of a round table experience. Ended up in the more private dining space which ended up working out fur the 6 of us celebrating a 60th birthday gathering.
Best. Burger. Ever. Also the nice little house salad is an addiction of ours. We go to the one in Tulsa or KC as often as we can. May be our favorite restaurant. Always good. Consistently good. Love the little details. Asked for lemon for the tea and get several wedges sitting on ice in a small glass. Campari tomatoes on the salad are halved and the exposed sides are seasoned. Just a great place.
