Service was excellent considering they had a full house. We had the fish fry it was very good except the coleslaw was just okay. Great bottle of wine and yummy carrot cake for dessert we will be back.

Service was friendly and accurate. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. My wife’s stuffed cabbage was very good but my jambalaya wasn’t hot and the rice wasn’t fully cooked. The flavor was very good but just tepid in temperature and the rice was still a bit crunchy. I was a bit surprised they seated us in the bar since we made reservations. I just sssumed it would be in the quieter restaurant area.

The Chicago Italian beef was terrible. Lots of fat, a huge bun. It was basically inedible. Our server was great.

Our experience was not as good as it usually is. They were very busy and seemed to be poorly staffed. Our server was working very hard, but had so many tables to cover. Beverages and food took a long time. Food quality was not as good as usual and the food came out warm at best.

The food here is always exceptional. The portions are large and made to order, not just sitting around waiting to assemble. Our server was amazing. She had the entire seating area in the bar and flew around flawlessly attending to all of us. Kudos!

Loved the Outside Hostess!....terribly sweet. Very patient as it was a chilly Mothers Day and was originally placed under the 'awning' by the bocci-ball, though she and our waitress moved two tables together in the sun. As for the food, always excellent, except this time my Ribeye steak was ordered a med/med-rare and came out med-rare/rare. Never worth sending back. All in all, we love Red Hawk and will always return.

Mother’s Day weekend with my mom. Wait staff very inattentive. At the time of arrival it was not busy. Order drinks, soup, apps, and entrees. My entree was chef special and it was extremely underwhelming, chicken piccata and risotto. Wrong soup came out first then the butternut squash arrived looking like jarred baby food and very bland. Sent it back. Entrees arrived before app and then I had to find someone to give me silverware. Both entrees were sent back. App arrived with no side plates asked for plates which were grabbed off another table and were visibly dirty. It goes on and on . The staff seem to be unbothered their floors were dirty and it was an overall horrible experience. I have frequented this place previously but will never return. Sad.

We had ten in our party, and all had a variety of great food, including sandwiches and salads. Food is reasonable in price, and service is very attentive and friendly. We have eaten at the Red Hawk for several decades, and during that time the experience has been up and down. We are assuredly in a very "up" part of the cycle! I recommend the Red Hawk to anyone looking for a nice meal and a good experience at a very reasonable price. Tom

First time there with girl friend. Very enjoyable dinner. Had the stuffed Hungarian peppers and fried perch. Had the chocolate desert. Outstanding. The wait staff was very efficient and not intrusive at all. The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night but we were waited on right away helped by the reservation. We will definitely return. I am glad to recommend.

First time there and in my opinion food is not worth the money. Steaks were good but the potatoes were cold and the veggies were hard. The chips with the artichoke dip were too soft and doughy. My husband did enjoy the Hungarian hot peppers. The service was great and the staff was friendly.

Being it was Valentines Day it was crowded, not overly but since all restaurants are struggling with getting enough employees it was evident. We waiting 15 minutes to get someone to approach our table, we were seated at 6:30 we viewed the nightly specials and proceeded to order one of them and were told it was already sold out. I do commend the waiter that he was able to literally as he said get the last one of the specials so he was able to provide the special but stated it was the last one?? All in all food was good not exceptional and the staff were doing what they could, sad this day and age we have to struggle with getting staff. Hope all the restaurants service this madness!!

The hostess was great! She told us that reservations were running a few minutes late (which was no big deal) and offered us a table in the back room (so we didn't have a wait), instead of the requested table by the band. We chose to wait a few minutes for the requested table & were glad we did, the BJ Gypsies were AWESOME! We're ALWAYS there to see t hem! Our server Amber was awesome! The food came out very quickly especially considering how busy they were. Everything came out hot & as ordered. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We'll be back.

A bit pricey but the service & food was excellent! We sat in the bar area which was a typical loud & lively area. We have also previously sat in their quieter dining area, so depending on your mood, we consider it a good place to dine!

It was definitely understaffed it took us about an hour to get our dinner and 20 minutes to get drinks. I felt bad for a waitress we scarfed our food down because we had to leave to get our daughter. Otherwise the food was good we understand restaurants are short staffed
