We have always enjoyed ReddWood and were disappointed to learn that it will be closing at the end of March
Foods are rich, but everything was good. Consider sharing a few items.
Stopped in for pizza- loved it!
Beautiful restaurant and great food!!! Loved the fresh flavors of the pizza and the beet salad was incredible!
Lovely meal, exceptional, efficient & friendly service on a busy Sunday evening.
Always a place we love to return to and so we'll see you in a few months!
The food and wine was amazing!
Great restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere all exceeded expectations.
Excellent across the board. Happy with our choice to dine here and certainly would return!
A very Nice place to enjoy lunch or dinner overlooking the street. Delicious pizzas ,tasty salads and excellent wine selection. Pleasant cows abs friendly atmosphere. We a really enjoyed anchovies pizza, little gems salad and potato & leek soup . Great Italian Pinot Grigio was perfect addition to our lunch . Way to go 🐥
I love this place, its vibe, the darkness of room, its drinks are great, however every time I eat here one of the dishes is overly salted to the point that my tongue feels cured. I can not drink enough water to get the salt out of me. It is now 3pm, the next day and my tongue has not recovered. Avoid the bucatini too salted and greasy, Brussels sprout salad with burrata is good but not great. I guess ill only stop by for a drink and not eat food here, i been here 5x and each time food is overly salted. Will not eat their food again but live their vibe and drinks
The Place is nice and the food is excelent! The pizza and the pasta were fantastic!
Always a great foodie stop. We bring the family, plenty of options for all. Our local favorite.
Soggy pizza. Just okay taste
Came to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was new which was explained to us after the manager came over to apologize for our experience. We ordered 2 apps, 2 salads and entrees. We got 1 app then the entrees came ans we also were missing a salad. I asked about the app before the other food was brought to the table and he said he would go check but it still didn't come. I flagged down the hostess to let her know we were missing two things. The manager came over and apologized and offered us free dessert for the mishap. We got 3 desserts which was nice but no share plates and were not offered coffee. The birthday wasn't acknowledged by the staff. So at the end of the day the recovery wasn't there. Free desserts was an ok gesture but didn't make up for the fact that despite a rough start the waiter didn't improve through the evening. Overall a disappointing evening for a birthday celebration.
GREAT EXPERIENCE. Excellent service from Alex
Waiter was missing most of the time helping other tables. I was dying of thirst from their pizza which was spicy and salty
Disappointed with the food, but especially by the service
The location was beautiful, the overall environment was very pleasant. But the food, specifically the pizza we ordered, was surprisingly delicious. I’m not usually one for jalapeños, but they added so much flavor to that pizza. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a quiet evening, in a relaxed atmosphere.
The food I and service is very good. The noise level is a little high at dinner. Loved the restaurant!
Worst pizza I ever had anywhere. Absolutely tasteless crust, overloaded with tomato sauce and totally soggy bottom. Salad was excellent and dessert passable.
Server had no clue regarding wines by the glass.
Had not been to the place for quite some time. Previous experiences were excellent.
Sorry to see the apparent decline. I suppose having a mostly absent owner is not working.
Will not return, too many good places to choose from.
Great place - food was delicious and the staff was awesome
It was s amazing. The service was great.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Very delicious wood fired mushroom pizza. The fettucine is also very nice. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately I will not be going back or recommending this place. The noise level in the dining alcove was unbearable and we had to move. We went for restaurant week and found the choices less than thrilling. The burger was so salty I could only choke down half of it. Salad was ho hum but the dessert of chocolate salted caramel tart was good. The chairs are in need of repair, most of the upholstery cracked and worn and the padding is non existent. Bartender Alex was great as was the bus person, our server could have used a shot of enthusiasm and attentiveness.
Deliciousness on a plate! Because we were eating lunch so early, it was pretty quiet and we got fast service. Hadn't been in awhile so we needed to have our favorites: we shared a chopped salad and a sausage pizza. These dishes are so good that its hard to make myself try anything new. That said, I also LOVE the meatballs. This is not good food, it's GREAT food.
Loved this restaurant - the Pomegranate - Beat Salad was amazing and super fresh. The mushroom pizza crisp and tasty, perfectly cooked. The bucatini was prepared well, flavorful, but definitely on the spicy side, so watch out! I would prefer my sparkling wine served in a flute or other champaign glass. Service was terrific, and the atmosphere is delightful. This is a must go to!
This is a small restaurant, but the menu options were large. Order the meatball appetizer, it was excellent. The salads are huge and can easily be split between two people. The cioppino was excellent as well as the pastas we ordered. I ordered the hamburger, which was a bit too salty, but the parmesan fries that came with it were wonderful. Best of all, the service was impeccable, very attentive and quick to clear the table when needed.
Service was awful and bad attitude. The table next to us ordered a $175 bottle of wine and several courses. We weren’t super hungry and the ambiance was very young millennial, so we just got mains and a glass of wine. The server was clearly annoyed. She offered great service to the table next to us, and would blatantly ignore us.
Food was ok. Cioppino was good. Bucatini sauce was pretty sugary.
Soundtrack was loud teen pop from 8 years ago.
Won’t come again.
We ordered a pizza with roasted brussel sprouts and the butternut squash ravioli. Both were excellent and the wine recommendations were on point.
excellent food and service. Outside seating quieter than inside.
Chopped salad was superb and the pasta dish was really well prepared and quite tasty.
Most enjoyable surprise from a restaurant that marks itself as a pizzeria. The did not have a gluten-free pizza crust so we went in a different direction. We shared the warm olives are a started. Olives were plentiful, different varieties and very good. We shared a gem lettuce salad with hazelnuts, beets, pomegranate, with a vinaigrette dressing. For entrees, we both elected the beef short ribs with a tomato wine reduction and winter vegetables. My came on a bed of polenta while my wife received a larger portion of vegetables since the polenta was not gluten free. We finished with dessert with my wife having a delicious butterscotch pots de creme with a salted caramel sauce and me choosing the coconut rum ice cream. Our server was excellent as were all courses of the meal
Great meal and service. Thank you
One of the best Italian dinners I've ever had, hands down!
Redd Wood was amazing! Such tasty food, I can't wait to go back!
Got there as they opened, 11:30am, on Friday. They seemed a bit understaffed as twice I had to have our server come to us by request. Awesome pizzas, great meatballs, excellent buratta. The food is always done perfectly. They do play music too loud and they need to hang noise absorbing panels, as the noise really jumps around in there. Great food but they need to work on the ambiance a bit.
Too cold inside. Very small cocktails.
This place was great in 2013. 6-7 years later it is clear that the food is crap but they charge the same inflated prices. Unclear what the management/chef vision is because neither are present.
Dined New Year’s Eve at a last minute reservation with my wife. Parking convenient. Arrived on time but was asked to wait 10 minutes at the bar. Drinks were tasty. Ordered meatballs (very tasty) with marinara sauce and bread nicely toasted. Split Caesar salad. Wife ordered mushroom pizza (good) and I ordered bucatini. The bucatini was too salty as mentioned by others in previous reviews. Could not tolerate and took to go. Service was not very attentive - not good readers of body language. Also, room was cold and drafty but has potential. Hope for better service and surroundings.
Everything was great. Server became less attentive. We had to call her over or couldn’t find her several times. We ended up walking over to her with our bill, not because we didn’t have a good time but because we were waiting around for over 5 minutes for her to come to our table and we were ready to go.
