👍very nice.
Beetroot falafel fabulous
garlic bread soggy overpriced and portion size tiny and not for sharing
Main courses really nice
Friendly attentive staff
Overall quite good
Great choice of food and tasted lovely. The chef and staff kindly put the pizza oven on for us even though it wasn’t due to be on so we were very pleased and it made us feel extra special. All the staff were lovely and attentive too. Will be back again.
Excellent. Cosy outdoor space. Great wine list and excellent value for money. We had pizza fresh from the outdoor pizza oven, sweet potato fries, chunky chips and crispy onion ring! The perfect feast! Good gun selection and nice glasses... fresh fruit garnishes. It’s the small touches.
Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great standard of food at a reasonable price. Our meals were excellent, nicely presented, quality of the food was a high standard and the service was very good indeed.
Lovely meal. Quite cold in the conservatory. Good value.
Lovely food, service excellent, dining room chilly. Al fresco dining was very busy.
Food was nice, but felt it was overpriced. Due to the restrictions, the hotel had worked really hard on their outdoor space, fire pits & heaters to help keep their guests warm. Staff were pleasant and attentive taking drink orders and table service.
Food was lovely and the service was excellent. Very quiet as most people dined outside.
Service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, I had the chicken and it was amazing, also the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Would definitely return.
Best meal out we’ve had in a long time. Would recommend.
Staff lovely however waiting a while for service
But very helpful 👌 food fabulous 😋
The food was very good, good portions and the qualify was first rate. Service was a bit patchy and we were made to feel uncomfortable when we decided not to order alcohol.
Arrival was confusing and poorly organised.
Excellent... pizza fresh from the outdoor oven. Outdoor seating and excellent customer service. Lovely drinks in a nice glass! Cocktails with full garnishes. Sweet potato fries on point. It’s a gem of a place with a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent value for money.
Squeezed us in despite being busy. Fish was fabulous and the service was very good. Nice bottle of wine and all at a reasonable price
Service was dreadful, no one seemed to be in charge. Continually had to ask for menu, and for someone to take our order.
The service was really slow - food not great / weird pizza options and no one attended to us properly - we had to keep asking for service.
The food took ages to come out too and there was not enough staff working. Sadly a very poor experience for us as 9 adults .
Booked a table for 3 on Monday night
Quality of food was very good but let down by terrible service
Over 40 mins before our starters arrived and over an hour for our mains.... didn’t order dessert as we had no idea how much longer we would have to wait for that
Great ! Good value for money.
Not very clear as to where to sign in, sanitise hands etc... booked a table but when arriving just told to eventually take a seat.. slow ordering and service but only seemed to be one member of staff working both the bar, dining room and outside.... could do with clearer signage and guidance about the new ‘rules’...... good food though if you’re prepared to wait a bit.
Everything about Redcliffe Bar & Restaurant was lovely except we were cold because the door had to be kept open for the customers outside.
Lovely meal as always. Nice to see people supporting such a good restaurant.
Lovely food, decent prices. Good location. Nice and warm
Went for our anniversary meal, was amazing! Perfect food, really good friendly service
Amazing meal at the Redcliffe accompanied by very nice wine. Staff as friendly and helpful as always and can’t wait to return!
Food was ok couple people in the party said it was overcooked Service was a bit slow but they didn't have a lot of staff Would go again
Excellent meals, great service and a nice friendly atmosphere, wouldn't hesitate recommending the redcliff
The Redcliffe has a very good atmosphere. We just had a main course and the food was of very good quality. Waiting staff are attentive and very pleasant.
When I booked I was shown the pizza menu as well as the ordinary one. I had booked with this option available ,but I was surprised that the season for the pizza oven was over by the time of our booking .
We all enjoyed our meal and will come back again.
I was so disappointed! We booked a table at 5:30pm as we knew we had to be in our seats for our show by 7pm. Initially we were taken to our table and given drinks very quickly but we were then forgotten about..... We ordered from their lovely menu but wait 45mins for dinner to arrive!! We then could not take advantage of the 2 course offer as we didn't have time! Food was lovely when it arrived just wish we has not been so rushed in the end.
Took our German friend there for a quiet meal. There was entertainment which was a bit loud but staff were very accommodating and found us a quieter table. The food was delicious and the portions were a good size. Nice choice of local beers. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Food was good but service was a little testy and awkward
Poor service. Disinterested young guy showed us to table. Waitress unable to understand our drinks order due to language barrier. Sent young guy to double check our order - ended up getting charged for much more expensive beverage. Did get this rectified in the end. General impression was a lazy attitude. Pizza was delicious, nice being able to see them being cooked.
Excellent meal 😊
On vacation from Canada: an upscale vegan meal. Great wine.
Lovely evening spent in the Redcliffe Hotel. Group of 8 enjoying birthday celebration. Food and drink were fantastic. Outside dining and pizza oven in garden are very impressive. Staff were excellent
Excellent meal and service, restaurant was extremely busy, despite that service was first class.
We had a great time, the service and food was outstanding. We will be back.
This was only the second time we ate here, the first being many years ago. We were pleased by the range of menu items and the ambience was nice. However, it was too hot and even when one of the staff turned down the radiator right next to us it took ages to cool down.
Also while my wife's Chicken Milanese was delicious, my Pork shoulder was bland, even the Haggis was bland.
The mainly very young waiting staff were pleasant and helpful, but difficult to attract their attention as they were rushed most of the time and did not look about them. All in all a quite nice experience and we will return.
