Extremely satisfied...very good food, service, and overall experience.
We arrived for a birthday dinner, but nothing special was done on behalf of the restaurant, which I thought was weird because they asked me for the person's name on the phone. The food was amazing but someone in our party got a their steak raw instead of medium. Then when the bill came, I asked for it to be split. The waiter did not like this and I apologized for not advising earlier, but he kept insisting that I should have told him earlier and that it was going to take time. I never had such a hard over something that I thought wasn't unheard of. I don't know just not my vibe of place, and now I know not to go.
My husband birthday
Wonderful experience food amazing and awesome service will definitely return and it was our 1st time there
Food took entirely too long to come out. Reservation was at 10:30pm didn't leave restaurant until almost 1:15 am. I understand coursing out meals however this wasn't the case. On the positive side our waiter created a very Miami Spice menu which had a lot of options to choose from.
I have been to numerous steakhouses over the years and Red was good enough but not a great experience. We felt rushed because every 3 minutes the waiter or waitress would ask us what we wanted to order. It started with our drink order, apps then main. We explained early on that it was our wedding anniversary and 1st time at the restaurant and we wanted to take it slow however they did not stop. The restaurant was not even half full so we were mystified by their actions.
We loved this steak house! The lobster mac and cheese was amazing!
Having been to Red numerous times, I always have high expectations when I visit. This time, unfortunately, was a bit of a let down. My go to steak is the PRIME CAB RIBEYE, medium-medium rare, which is what I ordered. I was a bit disappointed with my steak which was lacking flavor and was a bit on the tough side . My steak seemed more like USDA choice since it was hard to cut through and chewy. Such a letdown.
My niece and I went here for Miami Spice 9/15. The waitress came over never introduced herself or mentioned that she would be our server for the night. She was pretty friendly for the most part. I had to call her over a couple of times as she was standing to the side chatting. The person she was chatting to had to tap her to let her know we needed help. I had to ask the server if there was bread, which she responded yes and brought some out. The bread was good. I ordered the house salad which was very good. She did take the time to explain the Miami Spice menu. We both ordered the filet mignon which came with green beans and some overcooked (burnt crispy) steak fries. The steak was cooked pretty good however is would have been great it it had been seasoned. A little bit of salt goes a long way. Then we chose the molten cake for dessert. There nothing molten about it. I cut into thr cake...hmm nothing. I was confused as I thought molten cake meant that warm chocolate would ooze out from the middle. No such luck. People may say well it is Miami Spice menu. I think the Miami Spice menu should be a representation of what a restaurants regular menu is like. It should make you want to say mmm I will come back here again and order off their regular menu. Absolutely nothing made me feel that way. I was disappointed in the service as well as the food. Try SteakStrip instead. The service and food were excellent there and I would definitely go back.
Meat was not cooked as desired nor looked like dry aged as requested
Wanted a great steak experience and got one. Appetizers were fabulous foie Gras and beef tartare. Steaks perfectly cooked and aged. Wine was perfect from a good selection. Risotto was the best we’ve had. Nice little sorbet for dessert. Good acoustics for conversation. Service impeccable. Cocktails cold and delicious.
Amazing !!! Food delicious !
We have been to Red many times with outstanding food. This was definitely down a few notches. We also did not recognize any servers and are wondering if something has drastically changed. This was my husband’s 76th birthday and we truly were disappointed since we drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale to have a special dinner at a very favorite restaurant. We will try it one more time at some point.
We decided to try this place for Miami Spice...Not worth it. First impression was great! Hostess was nice and friendly and held our table for 20 minutes because we were late but we made sure to call. We advised one of the party of five was still looking for parking which is not easy or convenient in this area. She indicated our table would be ready in a few minutes. They made us wait for a five person table because one person was looking for parking and although we were immediately seated once the 5th person arrived we still waited another 20-30 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Once we requested the Miami Spice menu we were treated like second class citizens. The main entrée (Petite Filet Mignon) was nothing to write home about however the Tuna Poke appetizer was delicious. What's the point of offering Miami Spice if you are going to treat your paying customers like you don't want them at your establishment? Stop offering Miami Spice. Needless to say I was disappointed. For a restaurant that boast top notch service with top notch food at top notch prices I was not impressed.
Went here for Miami spice week. Food okay. Some of it was cold and the steak wasn't great! Ambiance is very nice!
Very nice, chill place. Food was great! Enough to take home for the next day.
Rude waitress made us confuse, uncomfortable and pay more.
Do not waste your money here. We did Miami Spice - after asking for the menu which they only provide upon request. The steak was good but everything else was mediocre at best. Desserts seemed like they were institutional, sitting around pre-plated. We paid a $10 supplement for donughts, which came out stale and far from made to order. I would say this is by far the worst steakhouse in Miami. Go to Smith & Wollensky, Prime 112 or Capital Grille instead. I also told this to the manager, who seemed receptive but only offered to “make it up to us” in general terms.
Was there celebrating 25th anniversary. It was amazing!
Would like to have seen the portions bigger. The taste was on point.
Best steak ever no need to say anything more!! Amazing service good wine list ( little bit expensive but its south beach)
This is our second time here. I love the ambiance and the food! Try it for Miami Spice this week.
Came for Miami Spice on a Thursday night - not too busy, fantastic food, especially the steak, great service, very cool ambience. Well done, The Red!
The Miami spice menu was disgusting. Little to no effort was put into the dishes and plating was horrible the food was gross. None of my guest enjoyed it. I’m highly disappointed. It was my birthday celebration and I did not enjoy it.
This occasion was for a birthday and we received top service. The food was great and our waiter was fantastic!!
Came for Miami Spice. Ended up ordering from the main menu the food was so good. The bone-in CAP filet was one of the best I have had. Great service great vibe.
I came for my Birthday. The food and service was great. I really enjoyed the platter with the different cakes.
The food was awful, cold. We spent 420 dollars on a Miami spice menu, and didnt finish half the steak and my husband got really bad food poising and the food was super cold and didnt feel fresh. For this price I would not recommend this to ANYONE even at a cheaper price I wouldnt recommend it to any one
Excelent steak quality, nice place in South Beach
Great ambiance, amazing food and attentive staff. I highly recommend the ‘Relentless’ Martini. Overall great experience.
Had an amazing time. Exceptional service and amazing food!
This was my first time dining here and I really enjoyed it. The restaurant is very relaxing yet modern. the food was delicious. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked, very tender and seasoned. I would recommend the house salad also.
We had an amazing dinner this was truly one of the best steak houses I’ve ever been to. The chef really knows what he’s doing.
Superb Caesar salad, bone-in filet & bone-in ribeye. Outstanding service from Grant.
Food and service were excellent. There were two of us for dinner celebrating my birthday. Downside was they sat us in a booth by the bar. Since it was my birthday, I would have preferred the main dining room. I will know to request this next time, as it was my first time at Red.
Very good experience.
Pior comida/cens que prové em toda semana que estuve em Miami tudo muy caro pero la comida não valía a pena y no recomiendo para nada el restaurante las quantidade era muy poca y muy malo sabor.
The service was beyond amazing
Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We went on a a Sunday so it was quiet.
Went for Miami Spice deal I think it was better last year
