Amazing quality beef 5*
Service good but food was mediocre. Rib-eye was cooked medium rare as ordered but chewy. Sent steak back for Lobster, should have kept the steak because the lobster was under cooked. Overall not a good experience for the price and occasion my wife's birthday
Nice place. Good food, no more than good. Prices very high. It does not worth it. You can eat wonderful for the same or less money.
Amazing food especially the hot seafood tower AND excellent service!!
A bit disappointed, not sure if it was the hype of the dinner, but at the end of the day it was a very normal steakhouse albeit overpriced. the meat was good, but not properly cooked to Medium, the butter for the crab was the most unflavorful butter I’ve ever had. The waitress was fine but when you are dropping 800 USD for 4 people with a required 20% gratuity added on you expect a heckuva lot better than “fine”
Overall I’d suggest you pass on this one.
We sat outside and we enjoyed it so much. Appetizers all the way to dessert. Would highly recommend it.
Great customer service and food ‼️
If you are ever in Miami, make time for this place.
The hostesses were very nice, professional and accommodating.
We made reservations for 4, but when we got there, we told them 2 may join later for drinks too. They said sure, no problem!
The waiter was so friendly and great at suggestions.
The drinks were ok but that’s our fault for trying something new.
The food: Definitely worth the high bill.
Appetizer was foie gras, delicious!
Lobster, wagyu, ribeye all just melted in our mouths.
We’re all from Texas, so you know we know our steaks.
The food was excellent, cooked perfectly.
Would definitely come back here next time we’re in town.
Get the meat board and request Bruno! Excellent service and food, all around great experience.
Best Cesar salad, brined chicken and pasta carbonara
Birthday dinner was excellent
Definitely was a disappointment. Ambiance was poor being roadside outside. Service was poor. Was told the chef wants the entire order given up front . That’s fine but takes away from spacing it out. Cocktail was average. Shrimp cocktail tasted like it was frozen and thawed. Tomato and mozzarella heirloom salad was subpar. Steak was average but presentation was poor. Overall would NOT recommend this place. I should have stayed at my home hotel Fontainebleau which has world class dining. Won’t make that mistake again.
Everything was GREAT!
All I can say is AMAZING EVERYTHING!!
The food was amazing. The service was excellent. Bruno was a wonderful server. I would recommend this place for a special event.
Great outdoor dining area however I found the steak medicore for the price
Food was delicious, especially the truffle pasta was AMAZING! And portions were huge! Buffalo oysters and steaks also really good! Our server, Sarah, was awesome! The restaurant has moved and is not in same location as pictures shown on website so that was a little disappointing. It is under renovation so we were seated in bar area, which was okay, just not a lot of ambiance. None outside either, as seating was on street, not by water. Food and service were awesome, though, and that made up for it! They also did a nice job of recognizing the milestones we were celebrating (birthday and retirement). All around great experience!
Greatest food anywhere
I really hate to say this because I once LOVED this place so, so, so much but the quality of the food, ambiance and all around service has really suffered since the relocation.
The steaks are just not noteworthy anymore and the hostesses/head of front not nice, which sets the tone for the entire meal. God forbid you're late for your reservation (7 minutes...) or request to be sat somewhere where it doesn't feel like a jail cell. They have 3 nice tables that actually make you feel like you're dining at a 5 star establishment and they're always "reserved". The drinks are good - they actually take the time to stuff their blue cheese olives, which is a luxury these days.
The sides were actually the highlight of the entire meal. If you do decide to dine here, make sure you get the mac & cheese, brussels & pancetta, any whipped potato and the parm tots are surprisingly not tots, but very good. Other than that, the filet was good but the ribeye was just super subpar (and SO tough! like, what?! Did they accidently serve me strip??).
Another note, if you have an allergy, make you tell your server every single time they come over, with any food or side. We had a nut allergy at our table and the server dropped off cupcakes as a dessert offering (knowing we had the nut allergy) and we assumed it was fine to eat because you're paying $500 for dinner and you've already told the server 8x but guess what - YOU THOUGHT WRONG! Overall, this isn't the worst place in Miami but if you want to spend hundreds on a steak dinner, go to Los Fuegos and get the meat platter or check out Prime 112. The steaks will be the same quality as Red, but at least the ambiance/service will be tolerable and you may see a celebrity or two!
Food was less than sub-par. To the point that we barely touched our entrée. No one even bothered to ask why. Waiter was very friendly but not very attentive. We would never go back, there are so many good restaurants in SOBE and this just isn't one of them.
Food was great, but service was very poor. Plenty of room for improvement.
We were on our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing the food, wine and service were phenomenal
Way over priced for what you received. Entrees do not come with side dishes. You must order sides separately. Which start at $18
The food barely had any flavor. My steak was also over cooked. I will never be returning again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
Outstanding service - friendly, professional and prompt
Steak (Filet) was excellent and prepared as ordered - medium well - sometimes the chef won’t pay attention to the request. not here.
Caviar to start was fresh with all the accompaniments
So last night we went to a restaurant called REDSouth Beach-Steakhouse. We had a large party of 35+ ppl and spent well over $3500 on our food. From jump the moment we walked up the mood shifted an they looked shook that we could even afford to be eating at this five star restaurant.
They sat us out side underneath a penthouse over the top of our table which was leaking water an had obviously been soaking in our table covering. We told them about it an they said they knew already an it was from the man watering his 🪴 plants, buuut to sit us under when you know the situation was wrong!!! An on top of that the covering for our table was NASTY!!!
We ended up getting upset after we had water dripping in our plates an some more so they moved up.
We finished our $3500+ food got up to leave an was walked out by the manager, while standing in front taking pictures the manger comes out again an says they would be calling the police on us because ppl are complaining because we were standing outside with open bottles an be loud.
They looked at our husbands like they had to hide stuff an put stuff up cause they just knew it was about to be a problem.
This world 🌍 is a sad place an when you feel like you can’t do or be who you are because of the color of your skin is sick. I feel sad for all of as we went through this together. We didn’t act out we didn’t get loud or out of line I feel I was simply because we were black!!! #BLM We are stronger together an they can’t handle that!!! But stop making it “OUR” problem!!
This by far was the worst $300 I ever spent an would tell everyone not to go unless you have someone of the opposite anything with you cause they will definitely make you feel like you don’t belong!!
The food was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Service was great.
The Cheese Mix that they bring you to dip the bread in is one of the best things, other than Steak, I have ever eaten in a Steakhouse.
Service was great. Food was amazing. It was an overall vibe. Will def recommend to others.
We always make Red a stop as part of our Miami trips. This year as with everything, Red was different... they were under construction and all dining was on a makeshift patio outside of their new location. Which meant chilly food, poor atmosphere, and a overall let down from our previous experiences. After all we had our post-wedding dinner there some years ago so we are loyal customers. I think upon people making reservations the restaurant should tell them about the situation.
My server was very knowledgeable on the menu and the food was so good. A PERFECT alternative to Prime 112 with a much lower price. And the scene is comfortable not as flashy and obnoxious. Be aware that Seating is all outdoors.
Wonderful experience but it would’ve been nice for my waitress to just bag my food instead of asking when the bill was $$$...other than that, ok.
We had the Porterhouse for two with Asparagus and whipped potatoes it was delicious and will be my go to Steak HOUSE when I’m visiting Miami
I could tell that this restaurant is probably a great experience inside but we were outside in poor weather and also had some issues with our food not coming out and steak not cooked correctly. They were very nice about it, but for the cost, I’d expect more. Ended up having to send my filet mignon back 3 times because us was fully rare and I ordered medium.
When you work hard, it's invaluable to sit down and have an excellent time and meal with family. Excellent service, food and of course the location of South Beach only adds to the ambiance. We can't wait to go back.
We had a lovely dinner. Good service with just the right amount of attention. Good food with right-sized portions. Nice to sit outside.
Our waiter was amazing!!!! Food was sooo delicious!!! Perfect!!!!
Best chicken on the beach
I always loved reds the quality of the food is one of the best and the service is amazing I’ve been to a lot of steak houses I give them a five star over all
