The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because of the food. I ordered a filet mignon well done and it came burned. I always order well done in other restaurants and it is not burned. The food is very overpriced for what it is. Dessert was not good either. Spent a lot of money on overpriced food that was not good. The service was excellent, our waiter was very nice.
I have visited many of the top steakhouses around the United States and will now add Red, the Steakhouse to that list.
We loved our meal! Best steak in Miami for sure! We went for Miami Spice and thought it was one of the best deals. Get any steak and make sure you order a side of truffle fries!
Decent top end steakhouse. Prices are high but that's because it's Miami Beach. It is a place to see and be seen though and the bar scene is going on.
We did not have a very good experience. We went to the Miami spice dinner. Reviews said that this restaurants are in decent portions, but we left starving. I’ve had better tuna crudo from local food shacks: two tiny pieces of tuna with some gross fried wontons that you get from the Chinese restaurant for free. My mother and I both are at the crab stuffed flounder which tasted like fish jerky with Velveta cheese. We sent them both back. Instead, they brought out a really dry pork chop for my mom, but my petite filet was very good. Service was attentive, but snooty. We didn’t really enjoy the desert having had the banana bread pudding, which was hard as a hockey puck. Very disappointed.
The sweet corn is better in Cleveland
Overall was fine
Delicious. Really enjoyed everything!
Every dish / drink was amazing. We had a great server (Jaylin M) that made us feel like honored guests. Great experience and exceptional value.
A perfect restaurant for a special date. Polished, professional service and great, straightforward steakhouse food. Steak was perfectly cooked, mushroom pasta was full of rich mushroom flavor. Great wine selection — do take advantage of wine Wednesday’s where bottles are half off!
Hats off to Stephanie at the Bar for the sterling service😎
They want so badly to be a fine dining establishment but the food is just not there. Not a horrible meal but for the prices and the hype the quality of the ingredients was subpar and the creativity of the menu was lacking. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Maybe this place had its time in heyday but that time has clearly passed.
Great ambience, amazing steak Cooked just right and great service overall.
Service was atrocious and borderline rude. I feel the staff knew they had an automatic 20% since we were a large party and did not care. They barely swung by the table and made several mistakes on our orders, and blamed my guests for rhe mistakes (“Well, that’s what she ordered!”)When i asked if the food would be much longer (40 minutes has passed since we finished our appetizers) the server responded as if i were a child, with “Wellllll, we’re really full, soooo”. Very amateur service for a restaurant that considers itself high end. If you’re gonna charge those prices you should provide service that lives up to it or train the staff further.
Very delicious food , great atmosphere and the service was superb!
Everything was great! Food, service, ambiance.
Perfectly cooked steak, good service. Enjoyed the restaurant, but needed a little updating, mostly the bar area. Otherwise a decent steakhouse.
Miami spice was amazing!
Overall great experience
It was a great experience, food was amazing. The service was outstanding along with the ambiance. Thank you for a unforgettable night!
Fantastic restaurant. Service, food and atmosphere are all outstanding. Kudos to our server, the general manager and maitre d. Go! You won't be disappointed!!
Food was excellent, wine manager was fantastic!
Our experience was below average. Food, service and value. There are several better choices out there.
I went to Red with my husband to celebrate my 30th birthday and we had a great experience. The waitress was quick, helpful, had a great memory and overall just took such great care of us. The 22oz CAB bone in ribeye was well seasoned, very juicy and cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the 4 cheese mac n cheese was delectable too!
Bad an expensive, there is a hair in my wife plate, I prefeer other options
Service was kind of slow. Although the waitress was good but it took to long For her to come to the table. We ordered the Tomahawk and it wasn’t anything special. I remember it much better.
No one acknowledged our anniversary. I made a comment about my lobster tail and the table next to me received a “fresh” one. The lettuce in the salad was brown. This was my first disappointing experience there
Went for Miami Spice. The service was quite poor, with the server offering limited assistance, Miami Spice menu not provided or explained once asked for. Food was absolutely dreadful and came out so fast that I can only speculate that they pre prep the Spice items and just leave them under a heat lamp. I have never before walked out of a restaurant mid-meal, but I did this time. Fortunately, the manager was polite about the whole thing. Very embarrassing experience, and I certainly cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food and service was excellent but the Miami Spice menu comes with Miami Spice happy meals that are specially small. I’m used to Miami spice items served being the same as what you order from the regular menu. Not the case here. I asked and the staff confirmed my suspicion. Disappointed.
The food was great ! Marco's service was excellent!
Dined at Red during Miami Spice Week, and their event menu did not disappoint. We upgraded our appetizer to the Oyster Rockefeller, and the dish instantly made us fans of this establishment. All of the courses were flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We look forward to making Red,s a frequent destination to experience thoughtful cuisine and spectacular service.
Pricillia my waitress was wonderful and very Knowledgeable on the menu. The filet mignon was outstanding and teasty and very very soft! I totally recommend it. The customer service was professional and the place was very clean. It seemed like everything on the menu was going to be outstandingly good. I cant wait to go again!
My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at Red. We wanted to try the Miami spice menu and the food was excellent. Even better was the half price bottle of wine we had with our dinner. We hope to visit again!
Went for a Miami Spice diner. Food was very basic and not tasty as expected, portions were small, service was professional, expedite but quite bureaucratic ... It is an example of a restaurant that we do not understand the reasons why they participate in Miami Spice. When you go for a regular meal, as I did, and pay the extravagant prices for a standard steakhouse meal, the experience is much more positive. Do not intend to return
Second time there and both times nothing less than amazing
Overpriced and below average. Frozen broccoli and extra charge for "loaded " baked potatoe. $20 to park and 20% required too instead of 18%. Arrogant waiter. Creepy interior with ugly art.
It was our last night in South Beach and we wanted to go to a very nice restaurant for a special meal. We took advantage of the Miami Spice menu. i upgraded to the 22 oz Ribeye (it was a very large piece of steak) and my wife upgraded to the surf and turf. We both enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.
Our waiter was great! Attentive and polite. Food was perfectly done. Great Ribeye and Mushroom Pasta.
Food is delicious. On a night that was very uncrowded, the service was awful: my husband’s meal arrived 10 minutes after the other diners, the waiter asked for our dessert order at the start of our meal & when we asked for it, it took 15 minutes with a request to the server for it to come. The manager gave my husband a complimentary lobster tail to make up for the late arrival of his dinner .
Too much condiments; shouldn’t be necessary when serving quality meat (which they do have).
Service was lacking as the fairly empty, but large resturant was serviced by a single waiter.
My husband and I came here with another couple to enjoy a child free dinner. First off, the waiter tried to remove all Miami spice menus from the menu book while handing us the menus. He tried to be sneaky about it and folded one of them as inconspicuously as possible but we all saw. When we asked for the Miami spice menus he then handed them back to us as if he never tried to remove them. This just started the evening off on a bad foot. The food was good, I will say, but when we received the bill we noticed an oddity. They charge a $2 surcharge for ice! My friend ordered a scotch on the rocks and they charged $18 for the drink and $2 for “on the rocks”. Although the food was good, we do not appreciate being schemed. They automatically include 20% gratuity which I feel always the wait staff to offer less than a 5 star experience. They don’t have to work for gratuity so they make it known. It was a very disappointing experience.
