Miami spice was amazing!
Overall great experience
It was a great experience, food was amazing. The service was outstanding along with the ambiance. Thank you for a unforgettable night!
Fantastic restaurant. Service, food and atmosphere are all outstanding. Kudos to our server, the general manager and maitre d. Go! You won't be disappointed!!
Food was excellent, wine manager was fantastic!
Our experience was below average. Food, service and value. There are several better choices out there.
I went to Red with my husband to celebrate my 30th birthday and we had a great experience. The waitress was quick, helpful, had a great memory and overall just took such great care of us. The 22oz CAB bone in ribeye was well seasoned, very juicy and cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the 4 cheese mac n cheese was delectable too!
Bad an expensive, there is a hair in my wife plate, I prefeer other options
Service was kind of slow. Although the waitress was good but it took to long For her to come to the table. We ordered the Tomahawk and it wasn’t anything special. I remember it much better.
No one acknowledged our anniversary. I made a comment about my lobster tail and the table next to me received a “fresh” one. The lettuce in the salad was brown. This was my first disappointing experience there
Went for Miami Spice. The service was quite poor, with the server offering limited assistance, Miami Spice menu not provided or explained once asked for. Food was absolutely dreadful and came out so fast that I can only speculate that they pre prep the Spice items and just leave them under a heat lamp. I have never before walked out of a restaurant mid-meal, but I did this time. Fortunately, the manager was polite about the whole thing. Very embarrassing experience, and I certainly cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food and service was excellent but the Miami Spice menu comes with Miami Spice happy meals that are specially small. I’m used to Miami spice items served being the same as what you order from the regular menu. Not the case here. I asked and the staff confirmed my suspicion. Disappointed.
The food was great ! Marco's service was excellent!
Dined at Red during Miami Spice Week, and their event menu did not disappoint. We upgraded our appetizer to the Oyster Rockefeller, and the dish instantly made us fans of this establishment. All of the courses were flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We look forward to making Red,s a frequent destination to experience thoughtful cuisine and spectacular service.
Pricillia my waitress was wonderful and very Knowledgeable on the menu. The filet mignon was outstanding and teasty and very very soft! I totally recommend it. The customer service was professional and the place was very clean. It seemed like everything on the menu was going to be outstandingly good. I cant wait to go again!
My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at Red. We wanted to try the Miami spice menu and the food was excellent. Even better was the half price bottle of wine we had with our dinner. We hope to visit again!
Went for a Miami Spice diner. Food was very basic and not tasty as expected, portions were small, service was professional, expedite but quite bureaucratic ... It is an example of a restaurant that we do not understand the reasons why they participate in Miami Spice. When you go for a regular meal, as I did, and pay the extravagant prices for a standard steakhouse meal, the experience is much more positive. Do not intend to return
Second time there and both times nothing less than amazing
Overpriced and below average. Frozen broccoli and extra charge for "loaded " baked potatoe. $20 to park and 20% required too instead of 18%. Arrogant waiter. Creepy interior with ugly art.
It was our last night in South Beach and we wanted to go to a very nice restaurant for a special meal. We took advantage of the Miami Spice menu. i upgraded to the 22 oz Ribeye (it was a very large piece of steak) and my wife upgraded to the surf and turf. We both enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.
Our waiter was great! Attentive and polite. Food was perfectly done. Great Ribeye and Mushroom Pasta.
Food is delicious. On a night that was very uncrowded, the service was awful: my husband’s meal arrived 10 minutes after the other diners, the waiter asked for our dessert order at the start of our meal & when we asked for it, it took 15 minutes with a request to the server for it to come. The manager gave my husband a complimentary lobster tail to make up for the late arrival of his dinner .
Too much condiments; shouldn’t be necessary when serving quality meat (which they do have).
Service was lacking as the fairly empty, but large resturant was serviced by a single waiter.
My husband and I came here with another couple to enjoy a child free dinner. First off, the waiter tried to remove all Miami spice menus from the menu book while handing us the menus. He tried to be sneaky about it and folded one of them as inconspicuously as possible but we all saw. When we asked for the Miami spice menus he then handed them back to us as if he never tried to remove them. This just started the evening off on a bad foot. The food was good, I will say, but when we received the bill we noticed an oddity. They charge a $2 surcharge for ice! My friend ordered a scotch on the rocks and they charged $18 for the drink and $2 for “on the rocks”. Although the food was good, we do not appreciate being schemed. They automatically include 20% gratuity which I feel always the wait staff to offer less than a 5 star experience. They don’t have to work for gratuity so they make it known. It was a very disappointing experience.
great options if you’re doing Miami Spice, loved the food!!
The valet parking is a disaster! I made a reservation and was sat by the bar. The bartender was my waitress and the service received was very slow and poor. I went with the Miami Spice Menu and with all the add one it was almost $250. I expect more. Especially when there is a mandatory service charge of 20%. I would have never left that big of a tip.
Friendly and knowledgeable waiter and somelier, made for a perfect dining experience.
Amazing service and amazing food!
The flounder stuffed with grab and gnocchi was to die for!
Red is my favorite place for an amazing meal in South Beach! Red never fails to deliver superb food and superb service!! The steaks are amazing... but so is the chicken Parmesan and the tagliatelle bolgnese... Mike, Stephanie and Marissa all deserve a shout out for their exceptionality!! Be sure to go on half price wine Wednesday and try an amazing wine... like the super Tuscan Guado al tasso
This is in a nice quiet place. It is very quiet on a weekday night. The steaks are average - no more - and overpriced. That said, if they can get away with the price charged great..........for the owner, as he clearly doesn't pay his wait staff anything as the cheeky young man who served us had the audacity to question the gratuity I left. Absolute height of bad manners.
We wont be returning to this place again when next in South Beach.
The bar staff however were great; funny how one "team" player can let all of his colleagues down with his self centred greed.
An amazing evening! Great food (some of the best steak I’ve ever had), wine and fun! And they took care of my wife for her birthday too! We will come back!
Most of our party enjoyed their food by we could not eat our steak. It was very tough. Management did not charge us which we aporexoated
This,is my 2nd time here and it was even better. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty. I would recommend the pork chops and traditional mash potatoes.
Birthday. Everything was prefect
Great wine list, food perfectly executed and great service from Kelly and her team. Would definitely return.
My only suggestion would be that it’s time to replace the dining room chairs- as they are showing their age. It’s a small detail, but with everything else perfect, it stands out.
Not a bad place. Very clean. Ambiance was nice. Service was amazing. I, personally, was not pleased with my food.
July 5, 2019. I was very disappointed!!!! I had requested a dinner for my husbands 70th Birthday. They sat us at the first table when you walk in beside the bar. I felt like I was on the sidewalk. Not a good table and especially when you let them know it’s a special occasion. We arrived at 7. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. When we left at 9 pm only 2 other tables were occupied so they had lots of tables available. We had celebrated his 65 birthday here and wanted to do 70. We are from Ky and really looked forward to this dinner. Very disappointed!!! We come to Miami every year. We’ll never go back to Reds!!!!
Went for my anniversary and the food and service was amazing.
