C.A.B. Prime Hand-Cut Tenderloin, Shallots & Capers
Shrimp tasted like bleach. I won’t be back.
Not what we expected for a high end steak house. Steaks at best were select not prime. Dry aged NY strip was an end cut not acceptable for a $80 steak. The ribeye was ordered medium rare and came out raw. We couldn’t cut them with a steak knife. Both steaks came out cold. They also took an hour so apparently they sat at the window or counter too long. We will not be returning.
We seated at the bar and the service was excelente.
The steak was ok, but the rest of the food was a sad experience. The pasta and broccoli was overcooked and the portion was so big and the presentation of it non inspiring, that we left not only very disappointed, but also with a very empty wallet. One thing however, that was good about the place, was the wine and the service.
Great food, better service. Martini game is strong, too many things on menu to pick just a few but the steaks (duh) and seafood are all killer.
Not as it used to be. In serious decline. May close soon.
Excellent food!! Always make it a point to come back when we are in town!
Really good food for America, portions were big and of high quality. Service was amazing a lot with food choice help/selection.
Would highly recommend if your looking for a top restaurant
Loved everything about this place, food, service, wine …
Love Red’s as always. Wasn’t a fan of the lobster tails, not good or worth the price. Everything else was great and my ribeye was PERFECTION!
Amazing, Bruno was great. The food was cooked perfectly, no complaints and will come back
I was on my honeymoon and my boaz and I love the elegant of this restaurant. It’s the best in the city hands down.
Love the food. at Red. They have a certified level 2 Sommelier that has put together an amazing wine list. Worth it every time.
This review will probably seem 2 sided, but my husband and I had different experiences even though we were there together.
**Host Staff were very friendly and super nice, they saved the experience from the beginning with their upbeat demeanor.
1. No valet or parking on site. So if you’re dressed up and possibly in heels. Be prepared to walk.
2. We were initially sat in the bar area facing televisions( that the owner) or manager put on sports. Why would people that are spending 2-300 for dinner want to watch football or the World Series?
3. Once moved the service and server was great.
What we ordered
Pink prince Edward oysters-amazing
Caesar salad amazing fresh nice portion
Boneless Ribeye-cooked perfectly
4 cheese macaroni-amazing
King crab cake -bland no seafood season and
Red Velvet Cake - dry, stale. Mouse on top was great as well as Nutella ice cream. Cake appeared like it was cut and sat out dry on outer surfaces.
I/we were really looking forward to coming here, had read a lot about it and fell short for special occasion dinner.
A few times heard the owner/mgr scolding hostesses. Felt like I was I in an episode of bar rescue. She would be behind bar texting, watching or at hostess stand saying that they need to take better notes. Also saying the loss a 400 table and should’ve done better. I didn’t need to hear that.
Overall 4 would I go back NO.
Love the service everyone was friendly .can’t wait to go back
We dined for my birthday on Saturday, October 30th. Our waiter came over asking right away asking for drink order without providing cocktail or wine list. Also, no silverware was on the table and we had to ask for same to be brought.
Our server was accommodating and addressed our concerns. We ordered the Maine lobster risotto. It was served like lumpy lobster bisque on a plate. Very underwhelming for $59.00.
Bread was served and undercooked or stale.
For the main being a steakhouse, we shared a new york strip - medium rare - I think $79.00. The steak came out just under rare and had to be sent back while the sides grew cold.
For a steakhouse, the food was rushed out without any attention and the table next to ours with 5 hungry guys had similar issues.
We loved Red when they had their Boca Raton outpost and dined at the old Miami Beach location.
I would pass. I mentioned that it was my birthday and no dessert was served on the house. Instead, we were served a 20% gratuity on top of the meal.
Our server as mentioned was very accommodating and tried to please but the kitchen needs to get their act together or try a different line of business.
The steak was chewy and did not have much flavor. We used to have good steaks at Red when they were at the last location. The Dover sole was not to the level of a high end restaurant. All the appetizers were delicious but I won’t be going there for steak or fish. .
Entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave you time to enjoy your meal and the food was delicious. Always have the best steak anywhere.
Amazing experience with Murisa!
Good food and service--their steaks are excellent as well as their lobster dishes-But they do not have valet parking--if you are driving there be prepared to drive around a lot to find a spot and have to walk a good distance. If they have valet parking this would be a 5 star review.
Great service and food, as always!
The best lamb and steaks in Miami!
Celebrating friends anniversary
Always the best
Got a dry aged steak that tasted rancid didn’t eat half of it. My wife got the lobster and it was over cooked. Butter tasted like oil. Caviar was the only thing that tasted great but how can you mess that up, it literally comes in a jar.
Nothing special, ordered the wedge salad and it came without enough dressing. Then bone in ribeye that was gristly....brussel sprouts were meh...and the truffle whipped potatoes were decent. Overall there was nothing even mildly exceptional going on in my meal.
We chose RED as our Anniversary dinner spot while vacationing. Socrates was our server and he was excellent. He had plenty of knowledge of the menu, and was able to answer every question we had. The food was elegant, and the black truffle Demi-glace steak sauce was insanely good. The steak prices were a bit high for what you get. Not upset about it though. Everything tasted superb. Recommend to anyone.
Jason was an unbelievable waiter! He was efficient, gave his personal recommendations, and didn’t rush us at all we absolutely loved the ambiance and the food was next level! Would recommend to anyone visiting Miami!
The food was amazing. Steak was seasoned to perfection, didn’t even need steak sauce. Would definitely come back.
Celebrated my girlfriend's birthday and loved the restaurant...Excellent service and excellent food! Great experience!
Need valet parking
Food was just average. I got a bone in filet and it tasted like a not so good cut of meat.
Crab cake was mushy and zero lump crab.
Our server/ bartender Marissa was great though.
Fantastic Miami Spice menu!
I would like to give a shout-out to Pamela our server. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable concerning our choose in food . It was our anniversary celebration and she at the end was so kind gave us a little taste of champagne compliments of the house! I live down the street and I will go back again and again and ask for Pamela. I rate her a 10 which is th best rating for a server. Thank you
I highly recommend RED! Delicious food from appetizers through dessert and excellent service!!
I found out about the restaurant as part of the Miami Spice line-up. The restaurant was not busy but my service was still very slow. I was visiting from out of town and took half of my order back to the hotel with me only to find out that I didn't have any utensils in the bag. The food was amazing, I upgraded to have the steak; but I thought I would have enjoyed my visit more.
Absolute amazing experience! The food was mind blowing, the waiter was so personable, professional and fun, and the drinks were so delicious! We had a great time.
The food was very bad, meat is not of good quality. Expensive prices, I don’t recommend it.
Ben was the best. This was our first time and the food was amazing.
